I like messing with the things on the bottom of the gamecube, it's so satisfying to take the covers of the ports off and put them back on, they are asmr in a couple ways
I want emulators to use these sounds. They're very much part of the retro experience.

Nope theirs were bad. The US and japan had 60Hz while the UK had the noticeable slow 50Hz
except playing on 50hz made unfeasable games really enjoyable
Virtual111 also the American versions looked uglier
they were actually pretty good 4 me

What would have made the video more interesting is if you had powered the Dreamcast on and loaded a game.
To be fair, the Dreamcast's disc drive is so loud I don't think it would have been that relaxing anymore. :D

The reason is that you can't open it without it being on and it's loud as heck so it would ruin the asmr (it's too big regardless)

Fun fact (or useful fact):
Even know you can push the cart down in a NES you don't want to as it put stress on the pings that read the carts
Sega's consoles were always so stylish. I think they made the best looking game consoles and controllers. I sure do miss them as a hardware company.

shut up modern gamer. You'll never understand. Retro games are pick up and play unlike modern games where i have to sit and wait for the game to download and update everytime i wanna play... Modern games also are like "play through the game for 2 hours then you'll feel like you've accomplished something" if i were to play a ps5 game for 15 minutes, I won't feel like i did anything in that game. I'll just feel like I've wasted time. Retro games when I play them for 15 minutes I feel like i've accomplished something... Retro games are more challenging (most of the time) than modern games, dark souls isn't even 1 bit hard for a retro gamer, they've beaten much more than that. In fact Dark souls is just as hard as any retro game but modern gamers just suck at it because they haven't played an actually tough game. Modern games also don't have any punishment for death, or gameovers, they just set you back to the start of the level which doesn't do much in an easy game and it's not fun.
