Jobs going to be little bit hard to remove std cat on an S3/golf R, on jack stands. Will need to be lifted another 8” to allow removal of exhaust around drive shaft, or you could cut into smaller sections.
Correct. I had to cut the stock downpipe in two sections when removing it to install a new one in my A3 on jackstands (same as the S3 / Golf R).
Very easy to do on jack stands on a GTI. Took no more than a few hours to complete the job. Of course I’m not very large.

To save your sanity flip the V-band next time.
So I would think its different on a R OR S3 because of the drive shaft.
It would be a little different, yes, but basically the same process!

@@fcpeuro Same here. same set-up. But i have no overrun effect (crackles/pops). It's in sports mode and everything. not sure what's missing.
Do you get any drone from this setup?
We haven't noticed any drone with this setup and we think it sounds great!
