The does that come with the cutter, does it also do 5 inch square - or need to purchase the due cut , what dies are comparable to this accuquilt go cutter
I'm not getting something, it seems to me that I have to cut material before I can use this. Wouldn't it be simpler if I just cut the shape I need in the first place?
I have the Rag Die that cuts a fringe around the end of the fabric - beats doing it by hand. When I take the fabric out of the cutter I am left with a neat fringe all of equal length and in each corner is (more or less1" square) cut on the two insides on the square that just do not quite meet up to hold the fabric in place. Should the corner squares be removed by snipping them off before sewing the fabric squares together? When I am joining pieces to gether that is okay it is when I come to sew rows together the fun starts there is _too much bulk with the corner squares of the fabric left in place_ so I think it would be best to cut the corner squares off to reduce the bulk where two rows meet? None of your video's actually show this procedure what are your suggestions please should the corners be left in place or snipped away? Thanks for the video.
Hi Derek we believe you have a old version of the GO! Rag square and these older versions did not have those corner squares removed. They now have dog eared corners and help with the amount of bulk.
To see whether a die is compatible with the cutter, visit the die's item page. Below the name, you will be presented with images of the cutters it is compatible with.

I thin k you will find it will only cut *dies* that have been designed for this cutter? There is quite a variety of them hat have been increased over the years and I would think just about every shape known to quilting
For the love of God, can somebody please teach the Accuquilt ladies how to pronounce selvage (also selvedge)? Not salvage. Completely different words. Salvage means to save something that is damaged. The selvage or selvedge is the end of woven fabric that is finished.

The baby is small you can not cut the larger dies. You can use most of the qubes.

She is saying selvage.... it's her accent that makes it sound like salvage. We all have accents that make certain words sound "off".
Hi Christinenne, how's your day going with you?
It's "selvedge", not "salvedge". Experienced sewers should know how to pronounce this word correctly!
