    What a time saver! I cut 20” WOF and used the 2.25” Go! Strip cutter die tonight and got over 8.5 yards (315”) of bias binding in mere minutes without drawing lines on the fabric or special rulers. (and extremely little waste!) All I had to do was cut a few 45° angles off on a few of the end pieces that were selvedges anyway and instead of trimming away the selvedges first, I did it at the end, knowing that some of the angles would need trimming up. #accuquiltbuilt

    Thank you I've used about 6 times now and watch your tutorial again to make sure I get it right. I'm only using about .25 of a yard

    I did it.... my first shot had an elbow and didn't stretch, but I have succeeded. I need binding for girls dresses for Africa and need lots of bias. Thank You Erica and Accuquilt.

    I so love this binding but I must say I always watch the video before cutting because I don’t want to mess up my cutting. People are always amazed that I do always use a bias binding . Thanks 😊

    Not sure of the response as I didn’t see it-can the technique be used with the die that only cuts 2 2 1/2 strips at a time? Would love to try it!

    How many inches do you get out of the 18” of fabric?

    can this be done on the 2 1/2" strip cutter that only has 2 strips on it.

      I agree.
      I've watched other videos & they neglect to note how wide a strip to start with

    How would you fold it with a smaller piece of fabric? Not long enough to fold at both ends?

    Do the quilt cutters come with dies? In particular the strip dies?

    • @KarenBarberaBITA
      @KarenBarberaBITA 5 лет назад

      They do have sets that come with the cutters and they also sell the cutters and dies separately. Do be sure to purchase cutting mats if you haven't picked any up.

      The 1,2,3 Go set comes with an 8" cuve, a 2½" strip cutter & mat, and the Accuquilt book by Eleanor Burns.
      Hint: wait til your dealer has a sale

    What length of fabric do you use on this length of die?

      18" this time is the answer I found. Is this always the case? I need 25' to repair a century old quilt whose binding is frayed.

    You don’t mention anything about the width of it. Just mentions the length of it. 18” by ?
