- It’s a crazy hunt trying to hook giant tarpon from the bank and I couldn’t be more stoked it finally happened. Big thanks to Jerry for the spot and to the homie and his dad for helping me land this monster. A week straight of fishing after work late every night and got out there first thing Saturday morning and made it happen. Couldn’t have asked for a better scenario. The water was flat, the sun was shining, and lil homie and his dad were there to help me land this giant. Hope y’all enjoy this one. 🖤

Congrats Enjoying your passion and dedication. I also do the same. I fish C11 canal Broward county. Put in lots of hours . Now I can pretty much go to my secret spot after dark and hook up . Last trip hook 3 land 1.

I've always had great luck tarpon fishing with a nose-hooked Zoom Super Fluke in golden bream or white. I use an Owner CPS ring to hold the circle hook in place on a hard cast, then either straight reel the lure or use small twitches depending on their mood.

The first tarpon I've ever caught was in this pond. i was bass fishing and had no idea 😂 that was a nice one, man! Theres a couple big ones in there

St Croix mojo Inshore Rod. Honestly I’ve always used the Penn Battle combos from bass pro there around 200$ but they’re solid

How could you find them at ponds from Jacksonville fl great video
Locate ponds that seem to have some access to a river that leads into the ocean. They swim up river and get landlocked into ponds that way and just keep an eye out for them rolling!

The mullet get in there from Hendry Creek , no giants in there at all. You guys are persistent .There are some in Lakes Park also.

awesome catch! just a question, i thought it was illegal to take 40+ inch tarpon out the water in florida? ive only caught a lil guy once, bet that was insane.
Thanks man and gulf tarpon yes but not too sure about freshwater. There some giant gators at that spot I’d be putting both of us at risk handling in the water.
