Sometimes I wonder if Togashi just read into everyone’s theories and was like “nope.” Just to prove everyone wrong
Exactly haha
From HIATUS to Search sure sound way different 😏
Yeah i also wonder about that and could be his assistants or friends or one of his family might be fond of listening theories about hxh then told Togashi 😅
What theory? I know about Sheila Pariston theory but I didn't know any other theory that got debunked by this chapter
@@istaka1416 aahm it's quite famous y'know the theory about hisoka disguising as illumi that's one of it that i can say Togashi said nope haha

Nobunaga not in the flashback doesn't matter because Pakunoda could've showed him everything using her memory bullets ability.
Exactly
true but its till weird/funny
Maybe Nobunaga is in the continuation of the flashback, you know the Mafia kidnapped children and maybe Nobunaga came a bit later.
Want if we don't see him because he's the one remembering, and therefore from his point of view?
Wait as far as I know i thought that the memory paku gave them was only about the time when she, gon and killua are walking to do the exchange
I trust Togashi to take the "explaining is not justifying" route with the Phantom Troupe just like he's done with many villains before them. My fear/suspicion is that *something* happened to Sheila, and the Kurta took the blame. We already have precedent for Chrollo's responding to the death of a friend with sending the Troupe on a triple-digit massacre. The same thing could have happened here.
i think sheila killed by kuruta member. thats why phantom revenge her .
EXACTLY THAT. There is a book called "The Lucifer Effect" that describes that situational circumstances are what lead to the fall from good to evil. The author (who played a significant role in the Stanford Prison Experiment) gives a few examples and warns that he is not trying to JUSTIFY their behavior, but rather, explain what led them to act that way. The Phantom Troupe's actions are NOT redeemable, and I feel that Togashi is just trying to show us WHY they are the way they are.
But uvo said boss really liked those eyes
@@johnxina7496 That doesn't debunk it. The Kurta could've taken the blame for a tragic death that Chrollo wanted to avenge (just like op said), and then he decided to admire the stolen eyes after killing the Kurta. Simple.
@@mrreyes5004 But that's not how the massacre went down. The troupe had family members face each other before they were killed in order to awaken their Scarlet eyes. This implies that they already had their sights on the eyes before the massacre took place.
What’s strikes me after watching this video is Uvo not remembering the clan before he saw kurapika’s eyes. He also remember the clan has being particularly strong. I’d say something is dodgy about the Kuruta clan and the fact that we are this close to find it out makes me excited for the future
I been saying it’s the kurta elder he did something to meteor city no way Sheila just so happen to be in the area when they all get killed. Then another thing that’s probably why he let kurapika go because he knew something was going to happen when he found that Dino hunter book they were hiding
Yeah it'd be a big plot hole. They didn't massacrate the kurutad for vengeance, it's something that Togashi didn't plan back then for sure. I like how Uvo didn't remember them cause it's shows how they don't give a shit, it's just another mere job for them.
@@hgjhgjhjgh oh no, the plot hole
@@hgjhgjhjgh it wouldnt be a plot hole, it could easily be explained away that uvo didnt even want to bother trying to explain his side of the story to kurapika because he wouldnt have listened anyways, or he purposly said he didnt know them to elicit anger in kurapika
@@FrickyouHeadBangerzzTillzIDie That’s quite manipulative by the embodiment of the simple enhancer. Being able to come up with a convoluted explanation doesn’t change it being at best a retcon and at worst a plot hole.
I remember when Paku knew she was reaching her last moments, she saw a stray cat on the way to the troupes hideout and meowed back at it. It made me so sad because that was it for Paku
not me.. they killed innocent people so am cheering for kurapika to wiped them out
@@ichiroutakami4189 I strongly believe that the Kurta Clan was not that innocent, if you see what Nobunaga says in the past chapters you can notice that the Phantom Troupe philosophy don't involve killing innocent people just because, and according to Togashi, in his interview about the chapter 0, there is a B side in the Kurta Clan massacre that was never told to us. Also, in the manga there is no scene where the Phantom Troupe kills innocent people, even Squalla was involved with Kurapika (who killed Uvo, then starting a war with the troupe).
So I conclude that the Troupe never killed anyone who wasn't against them or the Meteor City.
@@trout1274 the troupe killed the guests from the auction including kurapika's coworkers..
and when kurapika asked uvo where are the guest? uvo can only said they are gone.. its part of the plan.
@@trout1274 "the Phantom Troupe philosophy don't involve killing innocent people"
wtf.. they killed the guest from the auction when they tried to steal the treasures. those guys didn't do anything wrong yet got massacred.
@@ichiroutakami4189 the guests were the fucking mafia, there's nothing innocent about them, they were criminals just like the Troupe, that auction was fruit of pure contraband, or you gonna say that the presence of the Kurta Eyes on the auction was fruit of some legal process?
And it's how I said, Kurapika coworkers like Squalla were directly connected with Uvo's death and the mafia, even Kurapika isn't innocent at this point
I'm amazed at how Togashi can write characters, they're never black and white. There's always complexity to the character and if you can assess the character, they embody certain philosophies or moral standpoints. It's amazing how he can make me care about these characters. I don't want the Troupe to die :(
So true, the most unique characters that you can find in any manga are definitely in HxH.

Of course he can togashi is given more time than any other mangaka to add more information to the story and characters. Imagine how much better other mangaka work would be as well is they weren't writing and drawing consistently
It makes sense, even in yyh, Sensui is imo the definition of a non-dichotomic villain written geniusly.
This is what I love about Togashi getting the mafia planning the assault then Nobunaga, Feitan and Phinks going right into the rats nest to give us a flashback of the mini troupe of Chrollo with Pakunoda being geeks, Uvogin with Franklin punching out each other and Phinks with chibi Feitan chilling on a motorcycle looking like they're from Hokuto No Ken plus info on meteor city itself damn what a ride HxH is

Togashi is referring that every villain was an innocent back in the day.
Harsh Life changes ppl.
“Villain” is merely a term for a perspective. Follow me in this dramatic example: if someone has to kill other humans in order to feed their family, are they evil? Is the provider evil for wanting to feed their children? Togashi is very aware of the gray that is life. While we love to reduce everything to black and white, life is never that easy.

Not everyone. It was the other way around for Meruem, who was born evil but ended up being "good".
I never thought in a million years we would have a troupe flashback, what a great time to be alive! ❤
Regarding number 4, it's also the number Hisoka's used when he joined the Troupe. So I suspect he might be the one to kill them. Plus these 3 are the most vulnerable members to his style of fighting...
Good theory
Not really. We don't know how nobunaga and phinks fight(and phinks is stronger physically) and hisoka doesn't know about pain packer. Plus, it's 3 vs 1. Unless hisoka finds a way to permanently separate them i don't see it happening.
@@ginomontella9429 We know about Phinks' special move but we are yet to see him use it against a skillful opponent. How quickly can he charge up his punch and what level of damage will he do to the ship if his opponent is really strong?
I can see Phinks and Nobunaga but Feitan isn’t an Enhancer like them he summons a literal sun that would melt Bungee gum pretty easily.
@@noahgolden6258 Togashi decides at the end of the day. Fights in Hunter x Hunter has been more about efficiency of nen use than just natural advantage. It's not like Pokémon.
Maybe Sheila was a member of a troupe, perhaps even the scout
As we know group members have their own rules and duties within the group for example
Uvogin and Nobunaga for combat
Feitan for interrogation
Shizuku for clean up crime scene and collecting treasure
Pakunoda for information
Sheila was probably the scout who scan areas before operations due to her relatively normal appearance and/or her skills (imagine Uvogin or Franklin trying to befriend kurapika and pairo), as chrollo likes to prepare well before taking action.
Maybe she's even the member killed by Silva Zoldyck.
Sliva killed the former number 8 troupe before the start of the series. We don't who was that person waa Chrollo confronted Sliva back in the short flashback saw them face off.
This was my first thought
I love how Chrollo does all the make voices because he grows up to get a swiss army knife ability.
I feel like Togashi will leave the troupe in-between humanized and demonized. Maybe they'll get the eyes for the mafia, but I think Kurapika will take so many of them that Chrollo realizes that Kurapika felt a similar depression because of what the troupe did. A touching moment before their showdown.
That's some good writing ❤️
Chrollo already realized what kurapika feels tho
Remember when kurapika kidnapped him and transported via car, chrollo said "I would feel the same too if I were you" and then shuts up wherever kurapika ask him about the Kurta massacre
Chrollo would feel something similar if he loses all the troupe members and is left alone to fight kurapika. Interesting dynamic between the two. Both left without any family.
@@zilalibayan6030 yeah that's why when Uvo didn't return to the hideout, Chrollo wants to go back home and doesn't want to fight the chain user because he knows Kurapika seeks revenge just like they did to the Kurta ( if the theory about Kurta killed Sheila is confirmed) and he knows that they will all die but Nobunaga wants to stay
@@johnxina7496 gon killua and leorio is his new family.
with the sentences:"only life can pay for a life", and "we'll accept anything you leave here, but never take anything from us". this two sentences is clear, the Phantom Troupe massacred all the Kurta clan, because someone of the Kurta clan, killed someone of Meteor city. could be someone random from Meteor city, or could be a close friend of Chrollo, like that girl called Sarasa, for example. of course, could be a "trap" that someone create. for example, Sheila could have lied and say to Chrollo that the Kurtas killed someone of Meteor city, or tried to kill her, or even she could say that a Kurta stole her book, when in reality she gave the book to Kurapika. well,we don't know the truth yet, but is clear that the Troupe killed the Kurtas for revenge, based on their "law of retribution".
Personal theory is that the Troupe discovered the child kidnappings on the outskirts were either fully ordered by the Kurta, or the Kurta were involved in the kidnappings under someone else's order, and regardless of which one they enacted the law of retribution for every stolen child of Meteor City.
@@ShaggyDabbyDank Honestly, I'm going to wager that the Troupe killed the Kurta because of some misunderstanding. Like you said, they probably discovered the child kidnappings close to the Kurta, but then it turns out that it was Tserreidnich ordering the kidnappings and it just so happened to be close to the Kurta's borders, which caused the Troupe to think that the Kurta had done it (potentially even Sheila/Sarasa were abducted).
Or it could even be a mix of these ideas; perhaps only one or a few Kurta members were part of the kidnappings instead of the entire clan, and Sheila found out about it but then mistakenly believed that all of the Kurta were in on it and told that to the Troupe (which would be an _unintentional_ lie). So the Troupe massacred the entire clan except Kurapika because they believed they all needed to pay for it, when in reality only a few were actually guilty and it was actually Tserreidnich at the center of it all.
@@mrreyes5004 that or I'm thinking they knew of the kidnapping but did nothing to stop it. Thus maybe held a guilty for allowing them to happen.

I've been emotionally invested on the troupe and it's characters for over a decade now, they are my favorite part of the story and hunterxhunter is my favorite story. I just hope that togashi makes sure that, if the troupe is goin' down this arc, that they go down on glory, I want to see their power at it's finest, I want them to have a huge impact on whatever else is comin', they deserve that much. Long live the spider.

Don't let this chapter forgot you that bungee gum has properties of both rubber and gum
To be fair Togashi only said that "They will all die" which could be interpreted to mean anything as the question was "What will end up happening to Kurapika and the Phantom troupe?". The characters are human after all and all humans will die eventually. There's not enough known to make any definite judgements.
I totally didn't notice that Nobunaga was the one who brought up the flashback when he's not even in it. That's so funny.
Nah he's in it now lol
@@beverlyhuelsman9466 yeah back when I said that, it was a true statement.

I totally agree with you
I agree with you but I still think there's got to be at least one monster nen user among the Heil-ly (maybe that dog guy or Morena herself), and I suspect that at least one of the troupe will fall to them, but we'll see
Isn't flashback happened when character soon will die ? It's will rage so many people if morena and the gank can kill one or three of them . 😆
Morena telling the big Dog dude that she needs to level him up as quickly as she can because he has the most important role for her plans leads me to believe either she or Dog with her help will end up killing at least one of the current Troupe trio searching for them since a nen user is worth 10 levels.
I want to see a Phinks vs the Dogman fight. Usually the Troupe never team up against anyone and this might be their downfall if their chance of survival ever depends on them teaming up.
I think that tree that Togashi posted back in May, will be that of the Kurta Forest....never would I have guessed that.
Kurta clan was recognized as Scarlet eyes Demons. The people on the town when they saw Pairo's eyes turned red the people disgusted as if they knew something about the Kurta. Maybe Kurta clan have a dark history and probably has a high involvement about what happened to meteor city.
Or racism
I'm calling it, Sheila was innocent just an aspiring hunter exploring the woods who got killed by the Kurutas after we saw her for the first time in Kurapikas special chapter because she found their hidden village and maybe some other secret and was very adamant on documenting what she saw. So the attack from the spiders was revenge like the "don't take anything from us" note implies.
I like it but That just seems to straight forward I think the kurta elder did something to meteor city because he let kurapika leave once he found that Dino hunter book hinting he knew something was coming he was always saying how he didn’t like the outside world (unless he was talking about the dark continent)… looking at the time and age I think Sheila (if she’s apart of the spiders) get killed by Silva. She look like the same age chrollo was when he fought Silva the first time.
@@fatstackzthagreat9934 I agree with it being too straight forward, there's something we are not seeing yet, but I don't think the elder knew something was coming, he would have scattered the clan members or at least send Pyro with Kurapika since his whole thing was protecting them, he also when to great lenghts to stop kurapika from leaving and told him he really didn't want him to leave after granting him permission.
Also Sheila having fought Silva or even being a troupe member seem really unlikely to me, she was an aspiring hunter, meaning she didn't have a license and Silva said the fight was hard. Someone capable of fighting Silva on equall footing could smurf the hunter exam like Hisoka, I would put her on the same level as Kaito's friends.
Uvogn already answered this. The boss chrollo really liked the eyes of that tribe, like a treasure to him so they massacred the clan. Chrollo probably sold it after keeping it for some time
Didn’t Sheila get assasinated by the zoldycks?
@@fatstackzthagreat9934 I think it's likely that Sheila was abducted on the outskirts and the abducted children are taken to the Kurta in secret, either for the Kurta for whatever reason maybe the source of their clan's power is sacrifices or something, or the abducted children pass through the Kurta village before arriving at their "final" destination wherever that might be. But Sheila is/was a Troupe member and purposefully got abducted to figure out where the abduction ring would lead to so she could report back to Chrollo and ended up in the Kurta forest following a narrow escape because as Uvo said "Those clansmen were strong fighters!" They had strength that even caught a prime Uvo off guard, so if Sheila was expecting an easy fight she might have gotten more than she bargained for. It's also possible that Sheila gets the information to Chrollo about the Kurta being responsible for the abductions through a nen ability but not any vital information about them and then ends up getting killed in the middle of her report which would cause Chrollo and the Troupe to begin the massacre.
If Kurapika teamed up with Chrollo they could steal each other's abilities for a variety of combos.

I do like how Togashi introduces characters (and removes them) from narratives and in what order (when order is applicable). For the core 4 protagonists, rather than introduce them all at the same time, he gives us some insight into Gon first. Then he throws in Leorio and Kurapika with a scene that glues the three of them together as friends. Despite their differences and initial mistrust of each other's motives and abilities, they were all willing to jump off a boat in the middle of a stormy night to save a stranger. This allows each of them to know that, at core, they have compelling similarities they can respect (reason why Kurapika ran after Leorio in the tunnel and basically forced him to tell the truth about why he was really in the Hunter Exam). THEN Togashi later introduces Killua to Gon. So we are not distracted by the other interactions, as important as they are to Gon, while we develop our impressions on Killua-Gon. This flashback may be doing something similar in leaving Nobunaga out (so far, since it's not done yet). Let us see some happy moments from these kids and their first micro-groups before they all join. And then we can spend more focus on when the remaining people come in, via which connections to the already shown existing members, and how/why. Maybe a significant event links in Nobunaga. Guess we just have to wait and see.
ps. have to laugh every time I am reminded how short Feitan is :)
All this information about the troupe’s youth is making me increasingly curious about how Shizuku and Bonolenov (and to a lesser extent Kortopi) managed to get in with the group.

@@majapanasewicz2625 Yup. It's in a small side panel when Chrollo is introduced. Machi says something along the lines of "So that's who Chrollo is."
They are still pretty weird and twisted
I feel that the Kurta were just one of many clients of the traffickers Meteor City took revenge on. It makes sense that they'd need someway to inject genetic diversity into their clan when it was too dangerous to scope out mates from civilization. They bought people then adopted them into the clan. To the Troupe it was just another job which is why they don't place any special emphasis on the massacre. The tragedy is that this may not have been recent activity by the time the Spiders formed so the Spiders killed descendants of their Meteor City brethren not anyone involved with the trafficking.
This is definitely the right line of thinking. With how closed off and secret the Kurta village is they'd end up a rather incestuous clan if they didn't have outsiders entering on a regular basis, though with how the Elders insisted on keeping the clan closed and hidden they certainly wouldn't tell anyone. It's possible that the trafficking ended at the Kurta's doorstep as well, potentially being the ringleaders of said trafficking ring. Maybe the elders of the clan weren't as secluded as they made everyone else in the clan, perhaps they regularly left the village and partook in shady dealings while controlling the Kurta.
Why would they kill their own trafficked people?
@@Claudineionficinal take a guess.
@@jezza_belle4867no, coz it makes no sense. The spider tortured and dismembered the non-kurtas to enrage the Kurtas, whom they only gouged out their eyes and killed them. So if they knew about the meteor city people getting trafficked here, this detail would make no sense.
I think it's entirely possible that Kurapika and Chrollo might team up against TerrorSandwich. A major theme is teamwork/allies this arc and it's been hinted that Kurapika might need to depend on others for help since his ability is killing him. I also believe that this "B side" to the Kurta Massacre will only serve to show how naïve and rash the PT were when they first started off. Hence, Nobu's words about relating the PT to the Hel-li family, in that they were both quick to act without thinking.
In short, I believe Chrollo and Kurapika will team up and Chrollo might even sacrifice himself in order to save Kurapika from TerrorSandwich, in order to make amends for killing his clan. "Only a life can atone for a life".
Very insightful. I think you're spot on about the ominous tone and potential foreshadowing for the Phantom Troupe. After re-reading chapter I'm sold that this could be the beginning of some spider deaths.. It's funny bc w all the build up and the lore that we've gotten about Dark Continent, I had started to wonder if Togashi was planning on using Dark Continent to kill a significant number of characters or something. After all of the hype for DC it makes me feel like I'm expecting deaths in the story

So far from what we have seen of phantom troops backstory is not much worse. I mean yeah they could of died for body harvesting but leorio is also lucky to be alive he could have died of illness or possible starvation.

I think the Kurta clan killed Sheila, and the Troupe retaliated, then took the eyes anyway, since they're thieves.
agree. it's meteor city modus operandi . if their innocent member get kill, they will revenge with multiply time killing .
cute theory
Damn didnt realise we had passed the 1002 chapter mark with hxh crazy how they fly by
I have an unhealthy obsession with HxH. We need more Nobunaga!
I honestly hope Togashi is using the Heil-ly family drama to develop the character of Nobunaga, Phinks and Feitan before they fight Hisoka. Who gives a dam about Morena? What's her importance in the grand scheme of things? Togashi must not disappoint us.
@@Tomiwa101 Don't be narrow minded. You could've said the same thing about Komugi in the Chimera ant arc and you would've been very wrong. HxH is all about details.
Thanks for keeping my HxH hype going for as long as you have my man
Its possible that sheila was killed by the kurtas and the phantom troupe took revenge but I am not counting the mafia so, maybe the mafia manipulated this whole situation, and the phantom troupe might not be that bad whats so ever
Imagine they all achieve Post-Mortem Nen though lose corporeal form and become literal stands for Chrollo in death due to their fierce loyalty and love
why
I doubt it, would be a cool ability but more likely is Kurapika massacres the troupe and just like he becomes a specialist through his eyes like he's carrying the torch for his people, Chrollo might get to keep all their abilities in his book through post-mortem nen, and their fight would be incredible.
If that were to happen, then I don't think Hunter x Hunter fans could ever talk shit about friendship powerups happening in other shonen anime 🤣🤣🤣.
@@playboyx1114 nah togashi would do that better if he did power up over friendships. Also he did kinda do that with Gon
I've been thinking Tserreidnich ordered the hit on the kurta clan but now I have literally no idea what the connection will be we have so much information and still the answer could be ANYTHING
i came to your channel to watch your chrollo video after this chapter, so glad you posted this lol
I'm waiting for him to review 396. Did I miss his post?
no he's just really late it seems
Togashi is setting Chrollo up to be the next failed Joy Boy. Btw I'd love to see u do Chainsawman content
Hxh anime outro < hxh narrator ending episode while outro starts playing
Your videos are so refreshing and informative man I love em, I’m so far behind on the manga man it’s crazy but it’s a settling thought I can watch your vids to catch up is dope fr
It's better to read the chapters first, im afraid you are doing yourself a disservice my man
@@slavboii7781 I don’t think so my man, I’m too lazy to read the manga and Idek where tf to find it😂 I don’t want to have to purchase a shounen weekly subscription
@@lockyk5453 So when an awesome fight scene comes around or when a major character dies - you just want to experience it through a dude talking on the internet XD, jk jk, you can consume media in any way you like. ✌️
Also i'm pretty sure that these manga chapters are only one google search away *wink wink*.
I would love to believe that chrollo and everyone dubbing anime means they’re releasing more anime episodes soon
Maybe the 4 being behind those specific members mean that Hisoka is coming after them or stalking them? He is Number 4. And the death foreshadowing fits even more then.
Kurta clan cam from the Dark Continent, destroyed Meteor City and left. A small group stayed behind and they were eventually massacred by the Phantom Troupe, who avenged Meteor City's destruction.
Wow. this is pretty good. I'll get on board with this.
If I trust anyone to pull this off, it’s Togashi
One of my favorite things about this chapter is when Paku tells Chrollo to stop buttering her up.
Only for Chrollo to respond, "Huh? But I mean it."
Because that's exactly how Gon responds whenever one is overwhelmed with is expression of emotion. It shows that Gon and Chrollo hare more alike than previously thought and if Gon were able to return, he might end up coming back more sinster than before. Perhaps a new Phantom Troupe, maybe?
I think Gon is be more level headed and act more rational. He need time to reflect on start when did had nen. Work on his flaws become sharp polish diamond like how brisky observe him. Nobunaga took a liking to Gon and wanted him and killua to join. Gon return back to the story will be interesting.
Gon had an actually nice upbringing and is currently with his family. Chrollo seems like he's recruited by the Elders and groomed to be who he is now.
My personal theory for why they could've massacred them (seeing the pieces together for the moment)
It could be that Shiela didn't bail on the kids, nor intend to lead the Troupe to the Kurta.
It could be that some clan members killed her out of fear for discovering their village. Thus by killing Shiela, they pissed the Troupe off enough to murder them. Ofcourse they'd probably just kill the "one that did it" but the clan would attack all together.
This is potentially complete BS but it's my current idea.
Doubt Togashi would leave it at that, man's excruciatingly more intricate with this stuff.
Just realized my thought process excludes Pyro getting killed
Why would they do that to a sickly kid like that? Albeit, they weren't the nicest towards Gon and Killua either-
I’d love to see tserriednich ,Hisoka , chrollo and kurapika in a four way nen battle.
When I saw the 3 troupe members next to a #4 on the ground my brain immediately assumes a hint at Hisoka's presence (being the number he held in the troupe).
It's tough for me to imagine that Kurta clan was involved w the kidnapping stuff. They seemed reclusive and decent.. Maybe Tserriednich kidnapped someone important to the troupe and Chrollo agreed to have Troupe get those eyes he wanted in exchange for releasing their friend(s). I keep thinking of how Uvo said, "The Boss.. he really loved those eyes," or something like that. I feel like Chrollo wanted eyes for something diff
i think we gonna get a answer in why they turned like what they are now, but he wont show the Kurta.
5:55 There was someone named Sarasa in Greed Island. You can see Sarasa listed on Gon's book

- NWR : "it's a call back to chapter 1002"
- Me : I wish HxH has 1002 chapters
Hisoka was previously number 4 in the troupe. Could that be a double meaning also indicating that Hisoka is near/watching them?
Dude, just reading the new chapters TOGASHI really dropped a bomb in the Troupe's backstory. To think that they used to be good kids, until one of their friends have been abducted by the human traffickers. To think that these criminals are just the product of bad society. I just think that the kruta clan of Kurapika is responsible for the abduction of their friend. hence, Chrollo and the troupe just got revenge by commiting mass murder in the entire clan of Kruta. We can now see the other side of the story. Considering togashi, I think he will kill a bunch of troupe members in the recent arc. There are numerous factors we need to consider, first is the Succession war with Kurapika as the center that is currently happening, second is Heil-ly family, Morena Prudo making a bunch of nen users. And lastly "Hisoka's nen after Death" He was now more powerful than before to think that his bungee gum didn't break againts Razorr's most powerful attack.. And now he was more powerful than that, he will give the troupe a run for its money. Truly Togashi's writing is truly unpredictable fantasic.
perhaps the prince hired the troupe to retrieve the eyes. only asking for a specific amount of them, the troupe decides its best to just kill them all off, either to sell em or to avoid anyone seeking revenge.
Maybe Schila died in the Kurta village and the Phantom trup thought that the Kurtas killed her.
I read the flashback and thought it was cool and sweet, when I get to the end of it I thought "awww... wait a moment, someone will die soon 😧"
funny how a flashback is a huge deathflag 💀
though I'm not sure any of the troupe will survive the succession war 🤔
yeah, that's how i see this . i think it will morena who will kill one or three of them .
I doubt the Kurta massacre can be justified but Togashi can give us an understadable reason why the Troupe would want them dead aside from profit. But it will be difficult since they did collect the eyes in the most effective way possible showing how calculated the massacre was and leaning towards profit.
Chrollo is smart and stupid before Pisoga many time. Prepared and did everything to kill Hisoka then skipped the final step: kill Hisoka properly. In old chapters, Chrollo cried Ubo, none Paku, Machi didnot cry for Uvo
I mean he literally told the other members to check his body after the explosion. He was literally dead. I kinda blame machi for not finishing him off when he came back to life
@@youssefessam3164 non-canon whether Chrollo did tell or not, Chrollo created a big final bomb for Pisoga and they would have a great vacation eating Kura head cake
This might be a bit whacky
But I honestly think Tserridenich will be able to see so far into the future that he may allow himself to Die to activate a Postmortem Nen where he becomes some sort of body-horror Art Diety
I don't care about the impact, I want to see kid Troupe fan dubbing YYH. Now imagine if they find a HxH version of chapter black tape in the trash that requires nen to see....
I can see uvo and feitan dubbing Kuwabara and hiei, just making fun of each other for real while chrollo records it
I noticed as well that the Sarasa girl has a bag with hearts on it, and adult Sheila from Volume 0 has hearts on her fake ears. Maybe in remembrance?
Great video! I'm really looking forward to the next bunch of chapters. Even though it's very text heavy we've all read books before. I choose to view it as a book with the occasional picture.
How is that not a huge cliffhanger! I really enjoy those characters, knowing “ sad backstory” is about to happen is putting me on edge.
Next chapter is either going to be incredibly sad or incredibly sad
This was an amazing analysis of a mind-bending chapter, thank you Liam!!
7:26 I assume he means chapter 102. Too much One Piece coverage got us talking in the 1000's LOL
I'm guessing that there isn't a good reason why the Troupe killed the clan. This flashback started with Nobunaga saying how they at first wanted to destroy the world. So I think they did it because they could
Makes me wonder if we’d ever get hisoka’s flashback lol
isn't there one when he fights chrollo there is a bonus chapter
@@milamangaliso3922 there is a fanmade one that was pretty popular among the fans, but nothing cannon as far as I know
