Well, unfortunately you shouldn't expect too much out of our 2020 contender, if the contest even happens with the Corona times going on. It's probably our worst one since 2013 or perhaps even since 2009. There weren't a whole lot else to choose from though, 2020 was a dry year for Swedish Eurovision.

As a Swede I can understand that. And I don’t think we talk enough about the unfair advantage we and some other countries have. Where we have just a lot of different resources for different reasons available to us, that make it a lot easier to send well produced song and stage numbers. In Sweden we have a tendency to send whatever number/song that has the highest production value. In the same way other countries just votes for whoever is the best singer, no matter the song. This was not my favourite song from our qualifications rounds “Melodifestivalen”. But I still think it’s something special. It’s just very cool, in a way that challenges what we consider cool.

Love this song and this performance. I was in the audience in the final and watched both semis at home, and this was the only performance I feel worked equally well both in the arena and on TV. So well put together, shame he didn't get more points from the public.

Nick Karras : Cyprus theatrical show is created, to the ESC-2018 by the Swedish dancers. They are apparently the ones that are on stage and dancing behind the Artist on stage. Cyprus's contribution in this year's contest is written by Swedish sing and songwriters. Quite fun actually. Read it just-in the newspaper.
