Thanks a lot! There are a lot of songs submitted to Melodifestivalen (Sweden's national selection) each year. This time there were 2771 songs. So there are a lot of songwriters and music producers in Sweden. Sometimes the songs not chosen to compete in our competition gets chosen by other contries, like Denmark's "Higher Ground" this year for instance, it's Swedish. There are usually also a lot of Swedish backup singers, dancers and choerographers helping out in other countries entries. There is also a lot of Swedish music producers in the US, if you check the video *Top 200 Most Viewed Songs by Swedish Songwriters and Producers*, you will probably hear a lot of familiar songs, that you probably had no idea had Swedish origin.

Why cant we just accept that it's wonderful with the mix of music styles?- like Robin Bengtsson said last year as a respons to Salvadors complain about "fast food pop" ; "Fast food pop music can be the best thing in the world at the right time and place!
