I've had it for a couple of months and I love how my vloga look. I can do so many more different shots and angles with it, which has really helped me learn how to better tell a story. I've really enjoyed learning how to use it, even though ut was frustrating at first. But luckily, I was able to put that aside and allow myself to be a beginner. Once I started practicing, almost daily, things got much better.

I love mines, the one thing that helps is putting it on a selfie stick horizontally. It will help with the bouncing and help slow down the movement when panning. Thanks for the review.

It’s so easy to shoot in vertical I use this got my TikTok’s as well and just dismiss the video using the DJI app and it’s perfect!
It’s so crazy how easy it is 😃. I’m also surprised how good the app is. I normally don’t expect much but I was happy it is a good one!
There's a portrait mode for a reason. In landscape it's less pixels high. In portrait you get more vertical pixels. Also there's a square mode which keeps the vertical pixel count but goes a little wider.
Loved this video! I dropped my camera 1 time and it was a wrap after that. Insurance is a MUST!!!! Got my new camera on Monday n I’m scared to open it lol

Do you record in some sort of log format? What do you use for editing and color grading footage?
The colors between the ZV-1 and the DJI look pretty consistent.
Any thoughts on recording more than one person's audio? I see that DJI has a Mic-2 that has two transmitters and a receiver. Can the camera work with two transmitters with it's built-in receiver or would I need to use the standalone receiver with some sort of cable between the receiver and the camera? (You may not know the answer but may be able to infer it - is there room on the screen for a second set to "green signal bars"?)
I don’t film in log since i don’t have the need to color grade right now. I use FCPX. I love that the color is consistent between my DJI and Sony!
Yes! You can do two mics so two people can talk with their own mic. The green signal line just gets horizontally split into two. So there is space!

You can adjust the velocity of joystick and gimbal on settings for pan recording. You can choose slow, normal or fast!

Oh ok I see. I have a camera to use already just need a good wireless mic and that one looks superb. Do you have other recommendations? Love your videos btw. I will be traveling to Japan next spring and this is making me super excited
Ooo i have the Rode II wireless mic! It’s very good quality! I did a TON of research for a couple months on it before I bought it! I went through many other options and looked at videos and other website reviews and it definitely hit everything I needed. I love it!
And then of course a couple months later I found the DJI pocket osmo with an amazing mic 🤦🏻♀️.
So now I have two options! So I use the rode II with my iPhone and Sony ZV-1. And then I use the DJI with the pocket osmo ☺️
This is the one! Also it comes with a cable and a case so no need to buy a case unless you get it and you don’t like the case it comes it. :).

I filmed on my Sony ZV-1 in 4K and also used a rode mic. And then edited in FCPX? 😅
Do you have same issue when you are turning camera on then camera is kooking into sky and you need to recenter all time ?
Hi!! If you go into the settings, you can change it to where it turns on from the same position as last time you left it. Or you can turn off that setting!

Zoom setting switched to oled screen not button .But when i am enabling camera it need to be recentered
Plus when i am moving left right comparing to pocket 2 this one is not keeping horizont and changng deegrees which is really horrible

Do you think it would be better than my iPhone on a safari?
A few factors to consider: ☺️
1) what kind of iPhone do you have? If it’s a newer one with 2-3 cameras then it should be fine on a safari because you can zoom in :)
2) but… what kind of storage space do you have for your iPhone? Like iCloud etc. If you don’t have a lot of space then I would say don’t use iPhone. It’s super nice to use pocket osmo 3 cuz you can have all footage in one place on an Sd card
3) how much will you use the pocket osmo 3 after the safari trip? It would be super nice with your dinners and your traveling journey when not on the safari truck😃🔥
4) if you have the money then get it! You will love it. There are so many pros. It will get really beautiful footage and great light on your trip and all your trips later!

Don't pick product from backside. Do Broll instead. I mean, Show standard and creator combo product in Broll and do table talk showing those products usecase.

I duno why people have this gear and then record and use their ONBOARD AUDIO when their microphone is not being used to get better audio. That microphone can record the audio internally and you can SYNC it up in your editing software. Choose both files and choose SYNC and you got clean audio
I can’t get the sync correct
Idk how to use the mic but have the audio on the actual camera
Iam still tryna figure it out and no one is doing a thorough video on how also
The mic word so great with my insta360 ! So that’s really what I use it for since idk how to use it with the DJI but my DJI audio is great
@@CandyMonia in your editing software. You choose your video clip and choose your audio clip together. Right click and choose sync audio. And you’re done. It’s just 3 clicks to it.

Audio does not show up all the time if you record on the mic you have to plug the mic in also

I’ve noticed that cars always look so good! It doesn’t look too blurry or flat!
