WAY too much music, NO explanations, WAY too much time spent showing each part, and WAY too much time showing each tool used....absolutely EXCELLENT!!!! Thank you for this video and don't change your format. I rarely ever sign in to give a thumbs up or comment but I had to for this video. I was thinking about getting a shadow 2 and optics but have never done that on a pistol so wanted to see how involved the process was. It is settled, will buy a Shadow 2 and optic. Been an iron sights guy all my life and even in 20 years of military service and just recently tried a red dot sight on my AR and it turned out better than expected. Now time to try this out on a pistol...but have to get one that is optics ready.
Gotta shake that bottle son. When properly mixed, it will have a solid baby blue color not the translucent dark blue you see on these screws. Stuff lasts almost forever but it does settle so shake before use.
At Vector Optics, there are several red dot models with the following footprints: Docter/Noblex, Trijicon RMR, Shield RMS, Aimpoint Acro, and C-more RTS. To adapt it to this CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready pistol, all the necessary adapters are available from CZ.
Is the Red Dot when using it exactly at the top of the irons? So you dont see your target 100%? Or do you change the position of your to look from a more higher view and "over" the irons?
i have trijicon plate UNC 6-32 for my cz p10f optic ready, is the vector optics MOS 1x22x26 also compatible(plug and play) to it?? thankyou for the replay
This red dot from Vector Optics is compatible with your RMR adapter. You should not have any problem for the installation which should be done like on this video.
The plate is not supplied with the CZ Shadow 2 OR. You have to buy the plate that corresponds to the red dot footprint you have (RMR, Leupold, C-More, Docter...)
It still works well. The only thing you can compare with an SRO is the size of the glass. But you can't compare an SRO that is 4 times more expensive than the one shown in the video. For sport shooting, it works very well. I have a Trijicon RMR2, a Shield RMS2 and the Vector Optics SCRD-36. The best is the RMR2 from Trijicon with a very sharp and bright point. The Shield is twice as expensive as the Vector Optics, but I'm not sure the price of the Shield is justified. The video was made in France.
@@reddotsight1013 Yeah, just getting into IPSC, so an SRO is still overkill for me. Was thinking about either this or the new Shield RMSX which also has a larger viewport.
Thank you for your question! Using an optic, such as a red dot sight, can enhance certain aspects of shooting, like faster target acquisition or the ability to shoot with both eyes open. To become a better shooter, regular practice is key.
@@reddotsight1013 It´s described in the name, threadlocker not headlocker! For best results use the Fluid on the top of the screws, not at the head! BTW, I use the same Gun and also a Frenzy Red Dot!
@@ralfk.5552 Thank you for clarifying this, Ralf. Many people make the mistake of mounting red dot sights on a pistol without a threadlocker. That's the important message I wanted to give.
Just because something is affordable, doesn't always mean it's bad. I have this same sight and it has held zero better than my Vortex and Burris that I had before on a different gun. I actually had a the Swampfox Kingslayer recently and this would be my choice over that as well. The Kingslayer is great but chunky, tall, and doesn't have motion activation. Usually you get what you pay for, but this is a rare case where you get much more.
The red dot viewfinder has not lost its settings. Maybe the setting will be lost when I change the battery after a long time. The battery can last between 22000 hours and 50000 hours.
Only 2 screws holding the plate to the slide? NOT GOOD. Something Walther addressed with their PDP gun and changed in their new PDP PRO gun...3 screws holes....why ALL gun makers don't agree on ONE set standard of e.g. 4 hopes on the slide staggered. So there would be only ONE mounting plate....simplfy things so much.
I think the plate on this CZ is certainly the best designed plate I've seen so far. Don't miss my next video on installing a Shield brand red dot sight on a Walther PDP 1.0 ( not a Pro).

Also add it to the bottom of the screw.
Thank you for the video. You deserve a Big thumbs up good knowledge.
Thank you very much
I LOVE the Ahwouuuuuuu song 😂
Doesn't this optic use the Docter/Noblex footprint?
At Vector Optics, there are several red dot models with the following footprints: Docter/Noblex, Trijicon RMR, Shield RMS, Aimpoint Acro, and C-more RTS. To adapt it to this CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready pistol, all the necessary adapters are available from CZ.
Hey everyone wanted to see the red dot 😂 Nice 👍
With a video or a photo, it's always difficult to get an accurate view of the red dot.
Is the Red Dot when using it exactly at the top of the irons? So you dont see your target 100%? Or do you change the position of your to look from a more higher view and "over" the irons?
We are not at 100% co-witness, so it has never bothered me to see a bit of the front sight.

does it come with a plate when u buy the cz shadow 2 OR?

What plate is that please?
It's the mounting plate for the Trijicon RMR from the CZ brand.
What size screws are used to mount the Trijicon optics plate to the gun?
I think that screws are M3x8
Thank you!
How's the optic holding up so far? And how does it compare to the Trijicon SRO?
Also sidenote: I noticed the threadlock label was in FR/NL, Belgian?

@@stefellbt The RMSX is a good choice, the only problem with the large red dots is that you have to be careful to choose the right holster.

You do not use LocTite very often, right?
Why do you ask that, Ralf? If you have something to teach me, I'm listening.

What brand of tork driver are you using. ?
Any reviews for this optic yet??
Another installation video is planned soon with this model on a Glock MOS.
Great video
Thank you
Why did you use Loctite? If I want to remove the reddot, how it's possible?
Red Loctite is glue. The blue Loctite that I use is a threadlocker that can be removed
serrages des vis à combien de Nm?
1,7 Nm
Where did you get the plate
It's an adapter from the CZ brand for Trijicon RMR.
So nice ..love it!!!!
Dude the music is nice 👍🏾 who’s the artist
I think this is a music from Wondershare
Thanks 🙏🏾 cuz
I just bought S2 OR and ordered RMR T2. I wasn’t gonna put a $100 red dot on a $1600 gun… not saying it’s wrong but ….
Nah, it's wrong.

Your more expensive optics are probably also made in Asia. My Vector Frenzy is awesome.

It's a technical detail provided by Vector Optic. Personally, I don't shoot when I'm in my bathtub.

Lol nice intro
A shot in the dark!
I will try to improve
If you keep racking the slide like that all your gonna see thru it is a big hand print.
It's to demonstrate the strength of the assembly.
I hate that these manufactures make you lose your rear iron sight!
Cajun Gun Works will mill a non optic ready Shadow 2 slide for a RDS with back up iron sights.
chwps makes a plate that can take a rear iron. but the shadow 2 is a competition gun and we usually dont run irons on them with a dot.
Unbelievably annoying music !!!!!
I will follow your advice in my next video, don't miss it 👍
