Just an update from here. I just got mine, and there is a user manual with it now, and the rubber protection fits like a glove. EU version and it has a T-VIP lifetime warranty.
Какой датчик движения в нем используется? В моем прицеле есть проблема, он плохо включается по датчику движения, почти всегда нужно включать кнопкой, что очень не удобно. Может выключиться прямо во время прицеливания.
I have the Viridian Optics green dot version. It's made by Vector Optics. It's the exact same dot site. Unfortunately it doesn't fit on my Universal Optics cut strike slide. Front of housing too tight against slide.. Im so bummed
Oh wow I thought they looked similar. That’s reassuring to know Viridian uses these. I just bought the MOS version of this with the shake awake. Auto adjust doesn’t seem like a huge feature compared to shake awake. I’d rather be able to adjust brightness myself anyway.
I found it promising. However battery on bottom and a 20,000 hour battery life on setting 1 of 10 (confirmed with Vector) is terrible. Every new optic should be side/top load battery and have at least a 16,000 hour (2 year) battery life on medium. For battery life comparison, the PA microprism w a 2032 battery has a 29,000 battery life on medium setting.
Ok. I’ve tried this out now on my shotgun and a .22 if you hadn’t told me the price I’d have thought this was a hi end model. The shake awake is great for me for competition. Good product.
@@pj4433 Hi there. How is the actual situation? Are you still satisfied with it? I'm about to buy either this one or unwillingly a red dot (tube style). I had a vector optics wraith reflex sight on my .410 cal shotgun which has far less recoil than on a 12ga. But unfortunately that sight has an issue with battery connection I guess. So I've sent it to the dealer for the 3rd time and hopefully finally they will change it. I've told these because I've had some doubts about whether these reflex sights (open style) don't do well on shotguns or not. Thank you in advance.
@@nomadiclog hi yes I am and others in my club have also bought them. Not sure I’d trust it just yet for anything other than plinking and comps I don’t abuse my gear so no idea how tough it is, I can say no problems and holds zero for me. A vortex venom or equivalent might be better if you can stretch but for a budget I’m very happy.
Sadly, and unfortunately, too many of our companies rely on cheap Chinese labor to produce products designed in America. This is never a good option, because the Chinese then copy the specs and schematics of that product, and because they're producing these products for American companies, they've immediately lost all control of the production of their products that are inevitably then copied, produced with the same production tooling as for the American products, but are sold under Chinese companies under different names, almost always at a lower quality and price point, thereby undercutting the sales - as well as the control of ownership and production of the products from American companies towards the Chinese knock-offs that they sell online - eBay, Amazon, and Alibaba are the worst offenders, but other sites such as Etsy and others are catching up to the amount of Chinese-made fraud products that are sold online. We need to stop doing any business with China and Chinese companies that isn't absolutely necessary. We need to bring back production to America and our allied, or at least friendly countries in the region instead of China. This would serve to put the CCP on notice that we're not playing their game anymore, and would restore a great chunk of our economy as well as national security that was lost the minute that China was allowed to become part of the World Trade Organization and given "Most Favored Nation" trade status as a result. We should also campaign for the ouster of China from the WTO, but there are too many friends of ours - Germany, France, UK, and others - who are weak when it comes to standing up to despotic regimes like China, Russia, Iran, North Korea. This is something that we absolutely must work towards changing, and until we do, it's just going to be "business as usual" with regards to the hostile geopolitical and economic games that China plays with the West and the rest of the world as well... It's time we start waking up to the fact that for the past 40 years our government officials have sold out this country's national security, economic growth and well-being to the Chinese for their own political gain and corporate short-term profit margins. My two cents.
Super great vlog!! You covered everything about the product and more!! Kudos to your channel!!
Thank you, it means a lot!

Can i mount on shotgun to hunt wildboar with slug, is it strong enough ?
Which one mounts to the rmr footprint?
Thé distance between the 2 Rmr holes is 19mm?
Ever tried with 12 ga?
Mine came with a users manual, but no battery.
Giving the cheap cost, how does it hold up in the long run? Say you use it for IPSC on a major caliber, how long would it survive, hold zero etc?
I’ve been using mine on a shotgun for competitions for around two years. Holding up fine.
Which one is the best for Taurus G3 9mm
Good, detailed review. Thanks!
Does the 6 moa have auto on/off?

How do you know Vector Optics makes these for Viridian?
@@chrissewell1608 They look the exactly the same and they both made in China. However I can’t confirm 100%. Maybe OP can tho.
Do they make bul armory’s optics for them?
It's recommended for benelli M4.???
If you spent two grand on a shotgun why would you use a $100 optic?
yeah i am also curious about it?
@@PalmettoNDN because he dont have a benelli

Shut up you talk to much!
Does this Vector red dot have parallax?
1x22x26 is parallax free at 25 yards (23 m).
All optics have parallax at some range. Even things made by Ziess
Compare to Vortex or Swampfox?
