Most of these plates only have between two & three tread engagement on the screws so steel would be my choice for the plate, also since there is no back relief screw length is critical. The other concern would be the Galvanic corrosion between the Steel screw & the Aluminum plate not to mention the effect of the additional weight added to the slide & the selection of the recoil spring. I would most likely by a new optics ready slide from CZ for my Shadow2 if I wanted a red dot on it.
I ordered both mounts for my Shadow 2 and expected to receive a set of instructions, as presented in this video. Neither of them came with mounting instructions. Where can I obtain these?
My mounting plate did not come with a diagram as where to place the pins. Also the pins were steel, not nylon. Are the pins necessary, because when I put them in The sight was tilted and I could not not adjust the site as it shot too low. Very confusing . Poor packaging with no instructions.
I'm here for the same question as well. It seems the best options are buy just the optics ready slide from cz or take your current one to a gun shop and have them mill it.
That’s the steel version…there’s others but that one worked well. Although they sold out of steel versions for for other red dot brands. Turns out I quite like the RMS
I was trying to order these online the price states 65AUD which around $45USD as i was about to pay the price still remains $65. How much is it actually for U.S. buyers. Would like to try these for my shadow 2 but wondering if you can do something about the price and shipping. Thanks.
15 seconds showing us how *not* to file it and 0 seconds showing how to file it properly. No time was spent showing how to properly hammer the mount properly. How are these omissions not obvious to the video creator?
