Great finds Stef! That last piece almost looks like a lock plate slide. 🤔 I found my first Hibernia about 4 months ago and had no idea that it was until Rich from PA Relic Hunters visited mass and we went digging together and he came to my house and saw it, he knew right away 😆 Now I can see it so well. Crazy! Wicked happy hunting!!
Thanks Chris! Hibernias don’t come up often, at least not KGII or III (I have several KGI Wood’s Hibernias though, go figure). Still unsure on that last piece because of the holes along the edge. 🤷♂️
You mentioned we might be getting bored in the early part of this video….. Not boring at all - your format is educational and entertaining. Well done. Keep it up.
Nice Hunt there Stef. Congrats on the Coppers and IHP. Love the fact you show some of the trash we all dig up. It shows the beginner's and people that are thinking of picking up on this Hobby its not just finding cool Relics and Coins all the time every hole. You have to love doing this and have patience. Take Care Stef
Hahaha, that’s awesome, thank you! 😂 And you’re welcome on the Manticore TIDs! Figured that would help a lot of people. Note how crappy the trace and sound was for the first copper - but there was juuuust enough of a shadow directly on the center line that told me to dig it. That’s one of the times I only dug because the 2D screen assured me it was good!
Full range of signals and finds, with lots of variety. Looks like you're really in tune with the new machine, as the results prove- mine will be here soon- can hardly wait!
First off, bad ass edit on the Hibernia. That takes time and effort.🤟💯 What an amazing place to hunt with awesome coins and relics. You kicked some butt on this 1.
Awesome finds! I need a day out like that as well! 😅 I'm really enjoying you showing the screen when you're swinging over a target. Great video all around! ❤
Well done with your hunt and cleaning the coins. For all of my buttons and jewelry i wait to get home then clean them all at once in an Ultrasonic Cleaner.
Thank you! Depends what it is as to whether I wait to get home to clean it. I have a pretty rare silver coming up in a video soon that I was unable to clean in the field - can’t wait to drop that video!
Wish my farm sites had no stubble like yours, another intersting vid Sef . Frustrating here in Canada waiting for the farmers to put their "tillers" on the fields ...HH...john
This was actually filmed in May, I’ll bet that’s super tall right now! I’m waiting for the corn to be harvested, although unfortunately at least in my area of New England, the farmers never till anymore! So, once a farm is quiet, it tends to stay that way. Oh well. Thanks for watching! 😊
I’m going to guess the last piece is part of the same piece of furniture you drawer pull escutcheon came from. Decorative brass going by the three pin holes.
@@StefDigs ....I’m loving my Manticore too, even being a die hard Equinox 800 user. I’m also loving really tuning into the target tracing. You gotta watch those traces that start on the middle line and trace downwards. I’ve shown this on some of my vids just like you have in this one. 👍🏻
@@discovermetaldetecting absolutely! The dragging can come from high mineralization, which I learned a couple of months after this hunt, hah! Laurie Gagne (Relic Dirtyhands) is a fellow Detexpert and a great friend who was a tester for the Manticore. She’s been a great resource when I have questions!
Don't ever wet your Coppers!!!!!!! 😢 Lmaooooo 😂 I just had to say it 😅 Awesome bunch of finds, wet them as much as you like 👍 there your's. I never wet mine 🤥 lolz. HH and take care. 😁
Your boring is reality when metal detecting. Great hunt even with the junk. Some people use rubbing alcohol instead of water, worth a try. That said, it was in the ground it has been wet, so get over it.
Thank you! I try to keep it real - it’s not all treasure. 😂 Yes, I’ve seen Brad use rubbing alcohol. I think he does that to seal the coins from flaking, whereas I’m actually field-cleaning them (I think - I’ll have to see him explain it again, lol). Thanks for watching!

Coppers get wet in the ground. So spray away!
Exactly! I don’t understand the argument against spraying coppers. I don’t ever intend to leave much dirt on them to begin with, lol.

Thank you! I appreciate that. ☺️ I’ve been meaning to throw in a little more junk more often so it isn’t just the highlights, lol.
Keep up the digs Stef, we love it! Nice finds on this hunt. DIG, DIG, DIG...
Thank you! Had a great day for sure!
I love metal detecting but I straight up subbed cuz your hair is badass!!
Thanks for reporting manticore target numbers 👍

So love your channel. Your knowledge and information on your finds is fantastic.
Thank you so much! Always happy to share something new!

I always enjoy your metal detecting episode.
Thank you! Glad to hear it! 😊

Thanks Elisabeth! Easy to make a good video when it’s that kind of day, woohoo! 😊
Some nice items that bring the people of long ago back to mind, nice coins too Stef 😉🇨🇦
Thank you! I love the coins, but I may enjoy the personal relics even more - like shaking hands with a ghost, as I say. 😊
Awesome hunt and really nice finds.I really enjoyed your video and good luck to you S.D.
Thanks Jimmy! Was a great day!

Congrats on the Hibernia Stef! I have one too. Lucky for me, it's in great condition. Thin and faded but still nice.
Thank you! That’s awesome - I’ve found another since then, and it’s even more wiped. 🤣
Heck of a day! Congrats on that Hibernia ✌🏼❤️😊🍀
Thank you! Was a wonderful day! 😊
Almost forgot about the watch winder Beautiful
Thank you! I wish the monogram had survived so I could’ve gotten a clue about who lived there, but I’m happy with it just the same!
👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Another great show ❤️
Thanks for watching! 😄
Nice hunt. Awesome finds. I like the first little toy race car. Keep swinging and stay safe. Peace
Thanks for watching!

Thank you! I love that site!

Hey Stef. I just subscribed to your channel. I really liked the event video and and this one, way cool finds.
Thank you so much! Appreciate the sub! 😄
Nice hunt Stef!
Thanks Brian! Let’s have a great hunt this weekend! 🤘🏻
Nice digs Stef. That odd piece at the end …. Key hole cover for an old lock. That’s my guess at least.
Thanks Glenn! I ruled that out due to the small holes along the edge, so I’m still unsure.
I’m going to guess the last piece is part of the same piece of furniture you drawer pull escutcheon came from. Decorative brass going by the three pin holes.
Yeah, that’s my best guess, too. Wish I could find an exact match but it’s still cool!
Nice saves ! Heckamayeah ! AUsome day
Thank you! One of the better days I’ve had this year!
Awesome hunt Stef. Hope you had fun at DF8 yesterday, some people found some cool stuff.
Thank you! I had a blast - hoping to get the video of yesterday’s hunt ready for tomorrow! That MA militia button was my favorite find of the day.
@@StefDigs Ya that was Awesome, such a cool button.
Awsome 👍
Thank you!
Great video and nice coppers
Thank you!
Nice finds
Thank you!
Fun video! Duece coppers on an old permission! I'm gonna keep hitting those old spots. You're never going to get it all.
Absolutely! Sometimes I’ll wait for a deep freeze to come through over the winter, then return. Definitely brings stuff up!
Great finds Stef! 👍🏻
Thank you!

Nice hunt Stef! Hopefully we'll see you at the Southwick dig on 9/30
Thanks for watching! If that’s Gordon and Jeremiah’s dig, yes, that’s the plan! 😊
Great hunt. Love the coppers. Last item looks to be part of a hinge or latch, maybe from furniture or a jewelry box? Stay dirty 👍
Thank you! That's what I'm thinking, too.
Nice video by the way.
Thank you! 😊

Hahaha, thanks! Happy with how the 2nd one turned out, especially. I dig more colonials than largies so that was fun!
Pad lock cover?
Pad lock hole cover?
I haven’t seen any that have the little extra holes on them, so I don’t think so. The verdict is still out!
