It may be due to every other time we've seen Vergil, it's always been with some kind of conflict, but when they're all just chilling in the van you see that he and Dante are more alike than they think

Dante and Trish reading over the script at their parts. Morrison taking a smoke break and so forth...

I like to believe that the title screens with Vergil are in fact canon. Like, Vergil and Dante did come back from the Demon Realm and just joined DMC together.
This ending and then the main menu stuff was the most satisfying ending of all I've ever seen. And it was such an epic fight. I'm happy they're good brothers with each other now, they always did care about each other but had conflicting goals. Finally in the end, Vergil understands how true power is really earned, by protecting the ones you care about. Hopefully there is some development in his relationship with Nero and some funny ass awkward moments between them. Vergil's a good guy, glad he came to realised he can be one too before it was too late. I hope we see the 3 of them in the future working together it'll be the perfect triple threat.

I must say he was always serious but kind of playful wen talking to Dante. In the first boss in DMC 3 he apologizes to him wen Dante says he doesn't know how to throw a party, saying that he was so eager so see him that he "couldn't consetrate on the preparations for the bash".
Dixon Gosal I feel the same way. Seeing him be chill (as chill as Vergil gets, anyway) and smile, and an un-skewered Dante being present/on the other end of it is surreal.
Neko_Nico 2590 Its after he realises that power isn’t everything and embraces his human side. Both Vergil and Dante go through basically the same journey in this game. Dante accepts more of his demon side and Vergil accepts his human side. They both loved each other as family but now I think they both know how important family really is. Vergil’s given up on his pointless quest for power and is basically taking a leaf out of Dante’s book.
The Monolith Vergil still has a loooong way to go, but I’ll take what I can get. He accepts his humanity, but I think it’ll be a long shot for him to ever fully embrace it to the extent Dante does... and even then, Dante doesn’t seem to fully accept his own humanity. Especially given some of the information in that Before the Nightmare prequel novel. So it’s nice to see he potentially has a sibling back that he can relate to in some way. They still seem to collectively share about half a brain cell, though, so I can’t wait to see what the future holds lol.

The Vergil ones are so surreal, I have trouble believing that this game exists. As someone who’s been with the series nearly since the beginning, this is the one thing I’ve always wanted for them, that I thought I’d never get to see.
True, I was satisfying af with DMC5 ending. Vergil is alive and healthy as never before, and brothers finally have some fun together instead of trying to kill each other. It was surprising for me and I felt like a lil' boy watching it, hah.

If he gave a sh*t about himself (like he probably will in future games since he’s finally gotten his family back) he’d probably lose that aging look. He just looks old in DMC 5 because he stopped shaving, stopped showing (water shut off prior to the job) and doesn’t seem like he’s been getting jobs for a while, so hasn’t done much exercise. Combined, those do tend to take a hit on one’s appearance. I’m pretty sure he’ll snap back into shape, because trolling his brother is one of Dante’s favorite things to do lol (even slicks his hair back at the end of Bloody Palace lol) give that up by growing a beard and gaining 50 pounds? Seeing the beginning set of scenes with the crew in the van gives the impression of actors waiting to get their call for scene when filming. Nero's examining a prop used for his scene and thinking what he can do with it. Vergil, the more experienced actor with a high opinion of himself is bored as all out doors in a wasteland's desert. This ending and then the main menu stuff was the most satisfying ending of all I've ever seen. And it was such an epic fight. I'm happy they're good brothers with each other now, they always did care about each other but had conflicting goals. Finally in the end, Vergil understands how true power is really earned, by protecting the ones you care about.
Hopefully there is some development in his relationship with Nero and some funny ass awkward moments between them.
Vergil's a good guy, glad he came to realised he can be one too before it was too late.
I hope we see the 3 of them in the future working together it'll be the perfect triple threat.

Both Vergil and Dante go through basically the same journey in this game. Dante accepts more of his demon side and Vergil accepts his human side.
They both loved each other as family but now I think they both know how important family really is. Vergil’s given up on his pointless quest for power and is basically taking a leaf out of Dante’s book.
The Monolith Vergil still has a loooong way to go, but I’ll take what I can get. He accepts his humanity, but I think it’ll be a long shot for him to ever fully embrace it to the extent Dante does... and even then, Dante doesn’t seem to fully accept his own humanity. The Vergil ones are so surreal, I have trouble believing that this game exists.
As someone who’s been with the series nearly since the beginning, this is the one thing I’ve always wanted for them, that I thought I’d never get to see.
True, I was satisfying af with DMC5 ending. Vergil is alive and healthy as never before, and brothers finally have some fun together instead of trying to kill each other. It was surprising for me and I felt like a lil' boy watching it, hah.

@@DarkMirria1 I’d say let himself go is a bit more accurate. If he gave a sh*t about himself (like he probably will in future games since he’s finally gotten his family back) he’d probably lose that aging look.
He just looks old in DMC 5 because he stopped shaving, stopped showing (water shut off prior to the job) and doesn’t seem like he’s been getting jobs for a while, so hasn’t done much exercise.
Combined, those do tend to take a hit on one’s appearance.
I’m pretty sure he’ll snap back into shape, because trolling his brother is one of Dante’s favorite things to do lol (even slicks his hair back at the end of Bloody Palace lol) give that up by growing a beard and gaining 50 pounds? Heck no! Lol

I imagine the final battle would be a sword clash which breaks both Rebellion and Yamato similar to the ending in Samurai Champloo.
ParadockMW rebellion has already been destroyed after Vergil punched it, then Dante absorbed it along with the sparda after stabbing the rebellion into himself one last time. This forging the demon sword DANTE, which looks totally sick.
