    Heyyy that's where my granny was raised. Love Bocas! My great grandfather was a mayor somewhere in Bocas and opened up the first apothecary there. Those starfish are gigantic, but try not to lift them out of the water. Like, the best way to see them is with goggles in the water and the water is so clear. One of the docks has a friendly barracuda that comes by to say hello when you are swimming in the water. The local fishermen feed it fish so its spoilt rotten. lol Hope you come back! It's very chill, and yes, the food is excellent and the people are happy-go-lucky and down to earth.

    I loved this video. You mixed just the right amount of narration with views of the town. And your tone and voice are very captivating and relaxing. I love the Caribbean, but have never been to Panama. When I was young I used to escape to the Bahamas and Virgin Islands when life was getting me down. Just grab a small nap sack and hitch hike to south Florida. Then bum a ride to anywhere in the Caribbean that a boat was going. Your video made feel like doing it again. Thank you for this video. I will watch the rest of your videos soon.

    Thank you so much for vlogging about my favourite place in the world! I visit as often as I can, having family who live on Bastsimentos. However, being older and of slightly reduced mobility, all that you say is relevant. It means, for me, sight seeing, gazing around and looking at shops is done from a stationary place. I cannot wander along, looking at my surroundings since the places I put my feet are hugely important.... a similar love for my face and a lack of wish to make my dentist richer.... Anyway, i hope you do put down roots in Bocas islands somewhere and one day, I'd like to share breakfast with you and discuss life, the universe and everything!

    Thank you for a great video full of useful information. The question, I am booked for fourteen days in January as I am looking to see if it's a good fit to become an ex-pat and live there. My question is as follows, would you recommend leaving from Panama City to Bocas then going to Boquete? Or flying from Panama to David onto Boquete for a few days then go to Bocas spend time there then back to Boquete then David, and back to Panama City ?
    Hotel options are getting booked very quickly I am booked for Panama City and Boquete, not Bocas which I differently want to visit and feel it out ( I am a free spirit ). LOL
    Again thank you, living your dreams why not !!!

    • @AbroadAbility
      @AbroadAbility  3 года назад

      That is a hard question to answer. I think it depends on which areas you think you are going to like the most and would need to spend more time in. It was cheaper during my visit (as well as a time saver) to fly to Bocas from PTY, then I took a van ride from Bocas to Boquete. I had a relocation tour that ended in Panama City so to save time and money, it was recommended that I do it that way. I worked my way down the coast exploring certain towns along the way.

      That is going to be an awesome trip for you and your son. Some of my fondest memories of my mother were during our travels together. I am not sure about the best airport apps for flights. I used Google flights and looked at specific airline sites to see the best fares. I did have to go to Air Panama to book the flight from Panama City to Bocas. As for the medication, I am not sure about that. Depending on what it is, or if it is over the required liquid amount for a carry on, you might need a medical note but most travel with their medications without issue. Just do your due diligence with researching the medication as I am not an expert on that and do not want to steer you the wrong way. 👍🏽🇵🇦
