ANTONBLAST seems more like a true love letter to the Wario Land games than Pizza Tower. The latter is a great game in its own right, but this feels more "Wario-like" in terms of tone. In fact, it seems to channel Wario Land on Virtual Boy the most! I also like how when Anton turns into his Devil form, he gets a long health gauge just like that of a large boss, rather than his shorter one.
I love everything about Freako Dragon. His design is goofy but intimidating at the same time. His music SLAPS. His area is awesome looking. His phases are incredibly creative. Literally the cooler Jewel Ghoul.

Something about him just gives off the impression the creator also played Boogerman growing up & took a little inspiration.
