what makes this fight creepy/meaningful is that after beating Sugar the batter doesn't say She's been purified but instead that she's dead. All the Specters fought to this point kinda vanish after defeat but sugar is on the floor bleeding till she dies

Hugo is human too, yet the batter purifies him.
I think Sugar was hard to beat because she's human, a creature of flesh.
Enoch is also human (according to Mortis Ghost), and in his boss battle, he's several times bigger than Sugar. Yet Enoch has 7000 HP in his proper boss battle, while Sugar has 12000 HP.

The issue is that every single elsen is also a human. But i guess you can say its an exception because every(?) elsen we fought were the burnt version

This line really adds a lot of characterization to Zacharie, I think. It's the same response The Batter has when The Judge accuses the player of 'immersing this place in a pristine nothingness,' but Zacharie is ambivalent about it at best. He understands and believes in The Batter's cause, but out of necessity, because--as he declares when he introduces himself in Zone 1--he has a role to play as the one who sells items.

Are you talking about the addons ? The creator of the game said that the addons symbolized the promises made by the 3 guardians to Hugo, a symbol of their friendship kinda. The creator of the game, Mortis Ghost, did a livestream for the 15th anniversary of the game where he reveals a lot of things
Sucre is really easy if you just use competence moves to heal everyone while she's poisoned and put in attacks when no single party member is defeated.
I know it was saddest part of OFF so far but she was scared. Zach knew how scared she was so that's why he said it was for the best...because it was. I hate how she turned out too but was she really meant to live in fear? Is that what she was born for? Please think about these things before just starting to hate OFF

kal after purifying zone 1, you need to go back into Alma and go to one of the puzzles in the meat river to find an item called the Grand Finale. After that, you can find sugar in zone 0

I always wished there were 5 secret bosses, each representing one of the five elements.
We have sugar, but also smoke, metal, plastic, and meat.
He could have had the smoke one be the final boss!! A ghost like being named Mortis xD
With a surprise guide through out this bonus campaign, who would reveal themselves as someone we thought left the world.

I think Hugo was said to be the Guardian of meat, and it seems that Dedan’s body is made of steel according to one of the library books of Zone 2.

Japhet likely represents smoke for the reason that smoke hides and obscures things, just as Japhet is hidden inside Valerie. On top of that smoke is formless and drifts away until it can no longer be seen, and Japhet's been forgotten and ignored by those who once knew him.
Enoch could be plastic simply because he runs a factory lol. And his smile seems rather doll-like and artificial most of the time.

@@MGharriy alma has the meat fountains. Thats where you fight him, at least. Its unclear where he _lives_ since he also has an office in shachihata(plastic). Pentel is the metal place w/ all the cows

Fights like this are why you have poison attacks. They're broken against high-HP enemies like Sugar and the Queen. (Enoch is immune, though.)
I think it becomes accesible after you go through the Purified Zones once, but I haven't checked before.

My theory for her is she was once the guardian of zone 3 and Zach’s girlfriend but was kicked out and replaced for mass producing to much sugar without regulation. Soon she went insane and traveled to zone 0 to make all the sugar she wants. However she was once the Batter’s friend, or at least an acquaintance, however the Batter doesn’t remember her, making her go even more mad and violent in the process, resulting in her fight and eventual defeat.

I ended up sticking it on Auto at level 15 and killed her. I was actually quite disappointed, for the Boss that gives you the most EXP she wasn't as difficult as expected. I then went on to Auto my way through the Queen and the Judge as well.
Judge and Queen are commonly known as medium/easy fights. Judge is supposed to be easy as Batter, but most should go Judge route for challenge.
auto unleashes the beast that is the Batter, with the player no longer holding him back with their stupidity and their need to keep everyone's HP high

Actually, you could have just used some poison attacks straight from level 8 with only Alpha-- Sugar was really susceptible to those. Like, REALLY.

no you only need to go into the Purified Zone 1 and get the Grand Finale, then you go back to the Nothingness, then to Zone 0 and find her
Does Zone 0 always remain yellow? Even after purifying it's master?
+Original Narrator Pablo is the guardian of Zone 0, not Sugar. He has a card like the other guardians, and I think Mortis Ghost said it himself at some point.

Mas o batter não disse nada sobre purificar ela,muito pelo contrário ela é a UNICA que quando você encontra o batter não chama de espirito do mal ou coisa do tipo e além disso é também a UNICA que o corpo não desaparece e que o batter não fala algo depois que ela morre,ele só fala quando vai interagir com o cadáver e ainda fala "She is dead" todos os outros até o hugo era purifacado,mas ela não,ela só estava morta

Yes, Sugar and Zacharie do in fact share some type of backstory together. However, Mortis ghost did say that "She's not his mum, but I don't know if she's his girlfriend." in response to someones question about Sugar. Zacharie and Sugar being a couple isn't exactly canon. It's not confirmed rather or not Sugar is his girlfriend, sibling, friend etc.

Info for ppl because why the hell not: To get the stairs to go to the fight Sugar: Hidden in each Purified Zone is an Element, a collectable item associated with one of smoke, metal or plastic. The elements are always found in a room with two chests, a Red Cube and several spades on the wall. The element of meat can only be purchased from Zacharie near the end of The Room. The element of sugar can only be obtained once the other Elements are obtained, by defeating Sugar in Zone 0. Once the Elements are all obtained, they can be given to Zacharie in Zone 0 for either the Ashley Bat, the most powerful weapon in the game (which hits twice per physical attack) or the Aries Card, which unlocks a secret third ending.
