I dont mean to be off topic but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account? I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Gannon Malakai I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I'm in the UK and space is a luxury, I'd love to have a dedicated room like this. Could you slide out your rack and talk about your cable management a bit?
Drop some Hue bulbs in there and you wont need separate circuits. I have 4 recessed, the 2 up by the screen dim to off and the 2 in back dim to low for casual viewing. Its wonderful.
All the lighting is LED, so not many watts there. I have the projector, receiver, Blu-ray players and Firestick all plugged into a dedicated 20A line (plenty of power on tape) There's 4 amplifiers plugged into 2 dedicated 20A lines. The XPA5 could potentially draw over 1500w on its own and the Behringer is putting out 1100x2. + you have the other 2 amps. You never know what the future brings and Audioholics preaches about having enough power on hand. It only cost me 3 extra breakers and maybe 100' of line. Money well spent.
@@Rawsawhd He's saying that if you use smart bulbs (like Hue or LIFX), you won't have to worry about your front lights washing out your screen. You can adjust the color, intensity, and/or color temp of each bulb or group of bulbs individually without running a new romex for separate front lights.
hey i have upgraded from same movies from VHS then to DVD then to Blu-ray and what now 4K , then what 8K .. and movie companies are crying because people are downloading movies?? REALLY .. cry me a river ... Awesome room by the way.
Your Behringer amp for your 2 18" subs is an easy fix. Just replace the fan with an 80mm Noctua, it's plug and play and you wont hear a peep out of it again. $20 fix.
You trust an optima projector? I had one back in 2002 and swore i'd never get another one. I had nothing but problems with it. Maybe they are better today but they sucked back in the day.
I had my first 1080p Optima I bought back around 2012 and had no issues with it (fan was a bit loud). So far no issues with this one either. This was bought to get the theater up and running with the intent to upgrade in the future.... My plan is to step up to a top Epson or if funds allow a JVC.
I have the same projector I can’t set the screen properly because it doesn’t have the keystone settings. Btw what’s the best image configuration for the projector?
Each room environment and preference is different so just experiment. I bought this projector as a comprise at the time. Looking now to upgrade, projector and screen. Possibly Epson 6050 and a 2:35-1.
Compromises were made (and mistakes) from the start just to get everything up and running. I made the purchase for the screen material/supplies before having the lights in and until it was all set up I didnt know it would be an issue. That being said, I plan on getting a new screen semi soon. The lights may be getting changed out as well to something I can control through voice.
I built it using scrap material I had from my house remodel. You can see a few pics of it in one of my other videos. ruclips.net/video/iGnrxXiML3M/видео.html

You said 5 1/2 inch acoustic foam for your widow. Did that actually stop some of the sound from escaping out? I’m having a neighbor bitching about his stuff shaking in his house. Where did you get the foam and name please? Thanks @rawsawhd
@@Rawsawhd thx you. Started to worry that I needed to buy an amp on top of everything else. One thing at a time. I thought the receiver gave the speakers their power (or pre amp then).
Its a work in progress with many upgrades coming. I spent about $10k on the room between framing, wiring, insulation, steetrock, etc.. Then there's the equipment (which spans from the 90's to today) which is over $10k. Then furnishing and décor..
@@douglaswalker2201 my advice is get the basics right with your room first. It's so hard to change after the fact. DIY goes a long way to savings. Equipment can always be upgraded later.
Typically in a 7.2.4 Atmos setup, from what I've read, you want the surrounds at or as close to ear level as possible (which they are). So I thought they were low myself but what a difference over my last system with bipoles at 5'.
Looks great! Your 150” screen. What is the size of the wall that you have that on? I am also looking to put my speakers behind a bigger screen. I have 106” screen now. Thanks 🙏
@@MrBigjack71 That wall is a little longer then the parallel rear wall because it extends to the entrance so maybe 16-17', but excluding that the room is 14'W by 26'D (2' of that is behind the screen) by 8'H
You couldn't be more wrong kon john. Those side surrounds are exactly where they should be because he has Atmos speakers in the ceiling. If you put those side surrounds any higher it would ruin the Atmos experience.
The $1,000,000 I spent on productions cost doesn't stretch as far as it used to. Bad lighting, bad sound and a video thrown together. O'well!!!! Thanks for watching though.
Your dog chillin was the best part of this vid! Well done sir
I put up 2 new updated videos. That one is coming up on 2 years old..
The screen makes the home theater. Fantastic Build. Love the size of the screen. AWESOME Projector.

@Gannon Malakai it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!
@Dorian Rowan You are welcome :)
I would recommend staying with the couch. We switched to theater chairs and it is far less comfy
@Ricardo Rocco yeah no one gives a shit
Good build and you use your old stuff that’s wonderful
A mix of old and new and some sweat equity. I'm planning some replacements in the future.
Beautiful work. The screen and speaker behind are just what I wanna do
looks good! regarding the 2 bulbs by the screen you could put in smart bulbs to control them separate from rest of lights on circuit.
good job and very nice home theater brothah , congratulations !!!!
Very nice setup! Best of all you did it yourself! Great job!
Nice work! I’m starting on converting my Tuff Shed into an epic home theater. :)
Awesome, that was always an intriguing build. What are the dimensions?
20’x14’ footprint but inside space is about 13’x19’.

Impressive!!! Pictures don’t do this any justice. I love the tour with the video (great job on that too by the way)! Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the tour commentary. Fantastic.

It definitely reduced the sound outside.
How are you getting Dolby atmos to work with a projector, none of them have hdmi arc
The Denon processes the sound on its own.
New to this. Do you need an amp and a receiver?
No, a receiver is all you need.
