My charge 6 did the same thing, I thought it was over and had to buy a new fitness tracker. I had to do this several times before it finally work.

stupid idea . should be on the watch.
i have had one for 6 months and had nothing but issues with screen failure.
Really poor product and the customer service isn't much better.
