I’m so happy that you put together videos like this. It allows people to see how much time and effort goes into just one piece of furniture, especially something custom that you probably haven’t built before. I’m sure your friends were happy to have this piece knowing (if treated right) can last a lifetime. Cheers!
I love it, I'm getting ready for my fifth grandbaby and I want something from great grandma that will last for years to come
Great project! Well planned out using available wood. Snipes are tough, especially on small planers. I normally follow planing my good boards with a piece of scrap wood to maintain consistant pressure.
It is great that you are starting a good safety habit with her wearing proper PPE in the shop. Admirable!
Man I love this video! Came looking for ideas to make a Learning Tower, love you concise style of explaining. Thank you!
Cool build. Thanks!
I made this loosely based on your design and video. I made it with 2 4x4 sheets of 3/4 ply, a drill and a jigsaw. I used ratchet straps instead of clamps (jaja). Also used t- bolt style knock down fasteners instead of the inserts. The result is narrower but not tippy and sturdy enough for 2 big kids. Great project, thanks for the inspiration.
Awesome! Yeah once they are tightened down there are super sturdy.
What kind of counter sink bits do you use?
really enjoyed your video ...it is pretty much what i was doing ...like the deck ....and the cleat stops at each end ....the question I have is does the deck float without being affixed to the side cleats or is there a screw i can't see ?appreciate your response cleats .... all the best
Great idea and work. Based on your shop looks like you've been making for a while. Keep it up!
Thanks Brian! Will do
Hi there! I was just wondering what the distance is between where the platform ends and the step begins? Essentially much "overhang" does the step has so that the child can step from the step to the toddler?
Cool project I might try this out for my daughter
Great Build and Video, Well Done. Keep up the great builds and videos you are doing.
Barry (ENG)
Hey Barry! Thanks!
Great video 👍 do you provide the learning tower template somewhere as well?
How is the platform attached to the stand? I don’t see screws.
What type of router should I get to be able to do this project?
Very good job, and a clear video with good instructions.👴🏻🇦🇺
Nice idea looks like he loves it...great work
Thanks Robert!
Awesome vid, do you have a version that includes a gate to prevent falling out the backside
Oh that’s a good idea but no, I never made that.
Looks nice. They'll get a lot of use out of that.
Yeah I hope so. Thanks Bruce!
You have one of the better learning tower designs on RUclips and your video is quite good. I looked everywhere for dimensions including your web site and I finally found Plans in the website menu. $5 seems very reasonable for them although I am going to attempt to make mine with pine boards.
However, are you aware that a warning triangle with exclamation mark appears to the left of the URL on the browser? The warning that I get is that the site is not secure, "not to provide any personal information such as passwords or credit card info, because it could be stolen by attackers". The reason is that your site is not encrypted. I believe that your web hosting service provides encryption and you should take advantage of it. Maybe you will sell a few more sets of plans!
Claudio, nice work. Do you have the plans and templates available for sale?
Thanks! Yeah they are on my website. makeitnow.tv
Nice job!!! 👌👌👌👌
Hi, what thickness did you use with your plywood?
Thanks for the help, I’m about to get started on building one of these for my little boy
I have the same question... I think this is a 3/4
Will 1/4 inserts work or do I need to go with 3/8 inserts?
i would personally go with 3/8 bc of the strength
From where can i get the sketch?
very good job
Can you give the measurements to your toddler tower?
Just what I was looking for!
Hi.
How do I print the template out? It's just come out on 1 a4 sheet?
Cheers
If you open up the file in Adobe Acrobat you can print in “Poster” mode. There should be a section named “Page Sizing & Handling” and one of the options is “Poster”. That will split up the image into a bunch of different sheets of regular 8.5
x11 printer paper. You can then cut and tape them together to get the entire template.
Thankful. That stool could have been better. For example, a folding or turning stool that I have seen a few examples of.
wow! great video!! are you selling the template? thanks!
Love this. Is this avail for purchase ?
Unfortunately no. At this point I don't have time to build them. Thanks!
Quedó padrísimo. Tiene todas las herramientas para hacerlo
where do you get the template for this?
On my website. www.makeitnow.tv
Very Nice. I have to build this Tower for my 3 1/2 year old Daughter.
Thanks! Yeah I'm sure she would love it.
this is a great idea!
Thanks!
I should say, not my idea, but it is a good one! 👍
nice work!!! i cant find the template in your web page.. can you help me with the link?
I'm trying to finish up a couple of items to be able to open the online store. Hopefully in the next couple weeks. Sorry for the wait.
Hi where can I find a template
Any chance you are planning to share or sell your template for this project?
Hi Andrew. Yes I'm hoping to have plans up on my website by next week. www.makeitnow.tv
Wow
Hello. Very good your project. You could inform the dimensions, please. Thank you, Almir.
Almir Cocentino if you click on the link to his website and go to plans you can buy it for $5
How thick is the plywood you use?
looking forward to drawings :)
In mm :P im from Denmark
I wanted to make sure it was plenty strong, so I used 3/4" plywood.

Okay thanks :)
When can I buy drawings?
Complimenti!!
Potresti darmi le misure per replicarlo?
Grazie mille
Hi. Just bought your plans and somehow it gives an error downloading the plans. I've sent you an email and message through website. My name is Grasiela. Thank you.
Can i barrow your pattern😁
Great Video........... if you have a woodworking shop
This was most definitely a "look at how many tools I can use" project. Could have been accomplished with hand saw and screwdriver but that flush cut router bit is very handy
Very nice job. Don't let children anywhere near a stove. Sorry but I just had to say it.
I would like to purchase the plan. PayPal has a check box that stipulates they can and will share my information. No, they can not do that as I do not want that. Is there a better method to buy this plan than PayPal?
How can I get the plans for this learning tower.
