    What a great video, thank you! Love the details you mention in your videos - very helpful! For example, pointing out things like those little legs at 7:40 can create a gap between the tower and the counter. One thing I wanted to point out though is that it could be a con as well as a pro. The pro is that there won’t be any squished fingers!

    Thank you for this great video! It’s so helpful and I’m strongly considering one of the ones you recommended (probably the Picalio, but maybe now that Etsy one because 🤩). One I have seen online a lot and liked is the Learning Partners Explore and Store. I was just wondering if you’ve ever come across it and if so, how you think it compares to these others or if there’s a reason you don’t recommend it? Thanks again!

      Of course! That etsy one is SO gorgeous haha
      I have come across it! There are a lot of dupes for it on Etsy too - though I dk if they have the foldaway step like Learning Partners does or the tip-resistant feet... It's a great pick! I just prefer Sprout's to it in terms of comparable foot print/compact size because I like the enclosed sides more. But Learning Partners is a great brand and that'd probably be my budget alternative pick/runner up to the one's on the list! I just couldn't give it a "best in class" for anything specific.
      And for anyone just reading comments, this is the one we're talking about: bit.ly/3UbipK0

    Hello, what would you recommend for a 15 month old? I'm debating between Piccolo (the one that convert into a table) and Sprout

    • @theconfusedmom
      @theconfusedmom  Год назад +1

      If I was choosing between those two, I would ask myself:
      How much space do I have? (Sprout has a much smaller footprint)
      Do I need any extra furniture for my little one to sit at and eat or do art (like do you have a kids table set up for them already, because if you do or plan to get one with multiple chairs in the future the piccalio wouldn't provide as much value).
      In terms of stability and safety for a 15 month old though, the Sprout 10000% is safer.

      I'm not totally sure which one you're referring to, but the blog post has links to them all with multiple retailers (if available) to get the best price!) www.theconfusedmillennial.com/how-to-choose-the-best-toddler-learning-tower-when-to-start-using-one/

    hi so i have a small kitchen but my son is a pretty big boy at 18 months, what would u recommend for bigger children?

    • @theconfusedmom
      @theconfusedmom  7 месяцев назад

      For 18 month old boy I’d probably go with the guildecraft if your kitchen has space. You can fold it up pretty easy when not in use and it’s pretty secure.
      The foldable piccalio another decent option but at that age he may try to hang and swing from the top rail
      Lastly thr sprout has one of the smaller footprints and is pretty secure but you can’t fold it to put it away if you ever want

    Is there a specific age requirement for these towers? For example, how do I know when my son is ready to use one.

      I cover that pretty in depth in the blog post (linked in description).
      In short: check manufacturer's recommendations is always going to be the safest thing to do; but also it depends on the style/your kid and your family.
      The guidecraft one I personally felt comfortable with both of my kids in around 10-11 months but would never use the others (other than Sprouts) that early. All of that nuance is in the blog post though about how to introduce etc if I didn't cover it in the video.

    The best review on YT or anywhere for that matter.
    Thank you so much!
    I'm leaning towards that sprout one, found one very similar on etsy for $100 cheaper!
