Usual great video David. Great timing for me as my newly bought 2007 TT has the same foggy headlight. Also great seeing a scouser using a key instead of half a brick to open a car😉
Great video! Would you think it is possible to access the interior surface of the glass? I tried to polish my mk2, but it is still slightly foggy, and I think it is because of the interior.
Thanks! If it’s a yellow fog then it’s more than likely on the outside off of the UV from the sun. Sometimes it can be quite deep! If it’s a clear but looks wet, then you’ll need to dry the headlights out and make sure the seal cap is on, on the back of the headlight.
Anyway of doing this on the inside? I can see the previous owner has scratched inside and there’s some mottling from (I think) mould, where it was stood for a year during covid. It’s definitely on the inside and not outside UV related etc

Thanks! Fixing them has definitely helped with visibility at night😅 Can't start the car with a brick, so I thought a key would be better😉
Loving these vids! Please can u do a spark plug and coil tutorial
Thanks! I'll be doing a full service video soon with this included, I'm just waiting for the coil packs to arrive!📫
Keep up the good work!
The fact that you leave in the "I fkd up" parts just make the videos that much more complete and comprehensive on what not to do!
Thanks!

Is your headlights still clear?
thats orange peel on the coating, you can buff them with a polish or something itll look brand new!
I'll get some buffing compound and give that a go!
Thanks for the suggestion, ill look them up!

I don't think so, unless you're willing to separate the lease from the light, which could do more damage than good because it's not an easy job😅
