So, just to be clear, I don’t have enough footage to say for certain, but based on what I heard in this video, he does NOT sound Australian- at least not in any accent I’ve heard before. If there’s footage of him talking normally I’d like to listen. I don’t wanna speculate or speak beyond my opinion, but this is exactly WHY I make these videos- to encourage normal conversation in English 🫡
@@kysennpai Aside from his pronunciation, his teaching is good for us in my personal opinion. Do you agree with me? In addition, his Japanese is perfect and amazing.
He can explain a lot of details and he has a wide variety of good lessons. And he is number 3 because in my opinion, I think a couple of other youtubers are providing real unfiltered English. In my opinion of course 👍🏻
I was looking for a video of Nick talking normally. I couldn’t find one. And I think these kinds of videos are important for high school kids or people in their first year of studying. But after one year of studying? People shouldn’t be watching anything with Japanese in it. Which bums me out because I speak too much Japanese in my videos too
ニックさんはオーストラリア人なのでアメリカ人のKY先輩が発音とかを判断するのはあまり適切ではないと思います。イギリス英語を母語とする人でもアメリカ英語の影響を受ける人はネイティブでも多いです。ただアメリカ英語ならアメリカ英語で統一してもらった方が分かりやすいのは確かですね。ニックさんは英語ネイティブには間違いないのでネイティブかどうかを議論するのは適当ではないと思います。

日本人の英語学習者に向けて説明するために英語と日本語の間を行き来してる分敢えてその様に発音してる可能性が高いから。
