if you want a much cleaner fill that is less time consuming just select the logo itself , right click do select inverse , add a new layer , fill that layer with your desired color of choice and then just remove any color that is outside of the logo itself. if there's areas that are still somewhat not filled in properly just go to layerstyle and put stroke on it just less time consuming and more efficient.
the cleaned logo actually looks so cool, the use of the L and the D to frame the whole piece is very satisfying and I wish they just used that
