Stop doing this !
Oh boy you so good man 💪
Really exciting news
He will turn Højlund into a beast!!
I hope he teaches garnacho and Anthony when to pass or shoot. Those 2 just lack decision making (probably due to lack of experience).
@@spongebobubu I hope Antony leaves!
Also rashford @@spongebobubu
@@richiengntyou don’t have any idea of how managerial improvement can affect a player?
His interview on Overlap with Gary Neville shows me how much RVN has mature and grown as a person and also as a football coach/manager.
Hi. I am a 50 year fan of MUFC - so I have known the lean years, the glory years and now the frustrating years! I have been watching your videos over the last three months - I really like them because you explain formations and tactics. I know when a team is playing badly - and when a team is playing well - just by the way that they move as players and what they do with the ball. However, I had very little idea about formations or tactics (high press, low block etc. etc.). YOUr videos are well made and educational for me - so thanks and keep up the good work! Peter
Ruud thrive on the service he received from Beckham, RK, Scholes and his interplays with his striking partners. And that’s how Hojlund should be supported.
Agree, garnacho, Anthony and our wingers just need to improve their decision making: pass or shoot before being the finished article.
He's definitely eyeing ETH's job 👀
My feeling too
Me Too 😂
Of course he is.
Then ineos must be pretty dumb, given he isn’t a very successful manager.
@@jgmediting7770 😂😂 Managed PSV one season and won 2 trophies
Most underrated Man Utd fan channel on RUclips, i might not agree with everything Sam thinks but the videos are so well made and put together and makes quality and interesting viewing! ✊🏻
Agreeed. The videos are really informative and well researched.
He's very knowledgeable regarding different systems & tactics. His style of play is impressive while also he wasnt afraid to give youth a chance & support them. I think he's gonna be one smart asute addition to Ten Hag's coaching team that will hopefully have a positive impact on the squad
Ruud is returning home🤩🤩
It great opportunity for him. And under new systems. Yh couldn't come better time
Very clever move from ineos if they manage this. Bring him home!
If RvN wants to replicate the football from his playing days with a modern twist (more possession based), then that's good news for Rasmus, less so for the wingers, who right now need to do better in general, and a lot more if RvN wants this style.
It has some complementary features to Ten Hag ball considering the principles of overloads and passing triangles.
That said, Ineos being very astute by bringing him in. I hope it happens. Ruud is a legend who will command respect in that dressing room too.
The wingers will need to learn how to feed the strikers. And quick.
The whole forward line's finishing should also improve if United are to get more goals required to progress. Need 100 goals across all competitions.
The wingers will learn how to quickly feed the strikers. Absolutely spot-on.
Rasmus Hojlund is underserved
@@StoneSZN I hope so.
I love the way any player who played for Man Utd will always think of Man Utd as their home regardless of they are iconic/legendary at other clubs
IM SO EXCITED SAM.
RUUUUUUUD ❤
His signing will be good for everyone !!
Appreciated this, thank you Sam. I hope that he can connect better with the players and we can really become the best transition team in the world
🎉❤Sam .just wanna appreciate your work.
🇿🇦
Enjoyed the video big up👍
I like the way manutd is getting this guy and from his formation is almost with mancity pattern against madrid
Seems like the perfect system for Rasmus to bang in more goals.
Great work Sam!! Fantastic content here 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great video as always
Garnacho will thrive with this 1 v 1
Great news!!
I love your tactic and analysis videos
I could see him being molded into the next manager and learn under ETH
Why? There’s zero reason.
@jgmediting7770 think how Ruud plays is similar what the owners want to see, from the team, being an assistant is a step in to put some stamp on it
Great tactical breakdown Sam, didn’t over complicate it 👏
Ruuuuud!!! Is coming home😂 thanks Sam good content as always. Feel like a LB is becoming more and more important. I'm not sure Shaw is going to be able to regain the levels required his stuggles for england highlight how fragile and unpredictable his injuries are. Sometimes repair after repair stops being feasible
Exciting ❤
We love you Sam
Great vid keep up the good work please can you do a vid comparing onana and Ugarte of PSG, who would be more suitable to united
Most importantly ETH and Ruud have similar styles and drive.
Ruud can coach the front in being sharpe and on side, positioning, move with confidence to have the last touch of the ball before it cross the goal line.
whether he's eyeing ten hag's job or not - he brings 1. experience as a world class attacker 2. as a club legend, helps the players to deal with pressure. this can help make the best out of the current "failed" signings we have while advocating a clear club spirit and man united dna. whoever will be manager depends on who has the control over the players. no player is bigger than the club or manager. i think ten hag is very special for that.
One of the best centre forwards and poacher ever. He understands the intricate understandings and relationships needed for effective flowing football. Hojlund couldnt have a better mentor than RVN Hojlund is a born old school centre forward for me and not getting correct service YET
Really good news for Hojland
Nice analysis
Hope he bring that same kind of attacking drive like he was as a player before.
I'll get excited when they put pen to paper
Seems like he’d be a great addition. Hoping he works well with EtH and helps him to not be so stubborn on formation every single game and subs. Adjusting and adapting to the teams, especially when we were hurting and we saw the favorites over what worked, was my biggest frustration this year.
Ten hag has done that his whole career. Last season, he obviously had a long term reason not to.
Dnt be over excited my brother I still remember last summer onana transfer u were singing and dancing so let's pray everything becomes okay and we win
Amazing video as always Sam. Would be interesting to see his role when he comes in though it feels like he is coming in as the Assistant Coach not the Striker coach, question now is how does it impact Van Der Gaag? Does this mean he goes?
We didn't get Van der Sar few years ago, but now we most likely taking Ruudje to our side instead and I'm all for it
Would be great if he came back to mufc. Great video Sam
People forget after all the head coach/ manager makes the final decision.RVN will just be a spectator following ETH lead
Didn't ETH recommend him, if so why wouldn't he listen to him?
Top stuff sam
❤❤❤WERR COOKING
Really do hope he comes and joins ETH's coaching team
Here is where I am sceptical about this appointment, how many top strikers in the past 50 years have made good managers?! It is very RARE!! Some of the best managers were either midfielders (mostly defensive) or defenders. Attackers have shown that management isn't their forte and I don't think it is a coincidence that many of the greatest forwards have struggled as managers, Diego, Henry, Rooney, I want to say Solskjaer but you might point to his time at Molde but...
RvN10 would enjoy width when he played and still likes the same as a manager
RVN would be a great catch if we can pull it off.
I think this could work great, but it kind of feels like they are putting the interim manager in place in case we have a slow start
awb would be amazing in this system
Pls make it happen🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻
To me it feels like INEOS is thinking ahead of time by appointing Van Nistelrooy to cover if Ten Hag was to let go if results don’t go his way. 😅
He’ll have his eyes on the manager role make no mistake about that
Another well made video Sam
I detected a hint of jealousy recently from another channel with a certain comment. Keep up the good work
Ruuuuuuuuuuud, yes please, bring him back!
It’s about the players a manager get not about the tactics
A mountain cannot have two tigers… 🐅 🐅
If it's true it'll be brilliant
Not all great players make good managers but Ruud seems legit...I think he'll be up there challenging with Alonso and Arteta in the future for trophies...well see
Based on absolutely nothing but feelings.
I feel like INEOS are preparing for ETHs departure
First ajax now psv we are obsessed with eredivisie
And again, what level of control would VNbe given in the team? Must his opinions be taken by ETH ?
Every manager says this stuff
How will Ruud and Ten Hag work out?
Van Nistelrooy could carry over what McCarthy started and left midway. It will help attackers. Rest i trust Ten Hag with tactics and ball progression.
Crazy life is. Didn’t he say he did t want to be a coach ? Ha ha. Life. You never know what awaits
Yeah, ruud is going to be deciding tactics and coaching.
And ten hag will be doing what bro?
We are 👩🍳🍽
We don't have the profile of player for posession . Bruno between rashford + garnacho none of them want that they are transition only type players.
Bruno can def play possession
His issue has always been what's around him. No point in him looking to keep things tidy when all his wingers and forwards want to run in behind rather than come short.
And none of our other midfielders besides eriksen are particularly gifted passers.
If he can hold the ball why has he never once done it in 4 seasons? He's always been about the instant flick on (usually back to the opposition) who then counter.
Martinelli+ saka are not posession type players but Odegaard is and he does so every game .Bruno never once holds 9n to the ball because he just doesn't have that kind of technique.
@@neilthornton3544 again. Because we don't have the players coming short for him to that. He goes for the early flick on and Hollywood passes because that's how his forwards make their runs. He isn't asked to keep possession with us, he's asked to create at all costs.
You can only do what you’re coached to do. If you’re not being coached for possession and you have Fred and mctominay next to you, you have to drive forward.
So Man Utd is playing with ETH or RVN style?
I believe he will replace steve mclaren
I think in the end Van nisterooy will become Man U coach. I think its just an Ineos tactic. I'm sure theyve even spoken to him about that already. 😅
Question is will he want to work with ETH
Tra la la la la
Seems like teams are now adopting guardiolas base model and adding their own twist on it. Hybrid possession counter attacking type of game
Sir Jim if you are watching this WE DO NOT WANT Gareth Southgate at our club !!!!!!when ETH has gone .
We just need to find another Beckham, Scholes and Giggs and everything would be just fine 😂
Still going to have the same problem...
United have inverted wingers who want to cut in and shoot rather than traditional wingers who stay wide and cross. United need all new wingers though I would love to Antony play on the left and see if he can actually play more as a traditional with garnacho on the right
We already know rash can't. He's too selfish, and that's without talking about his lack of energy on the defensive side
He could well be headcoach soon if ten hag has a bad start to the season
Ineos can’t be that stupid.
I fail to understand why we're going into a new season with ETH as the boss and yet analysing RV coaching tactics. Does that make any sense? It's obvious SJR still doesn't trust that ETH is good enough to lead United. And secondly of course, SJR is also planning the event that ETH got sacked, then they have a good back up coach. Cos tbh, I can't see much difference between how RV plays with how ETH plays as a manager. Once ETH has his full injury free squad, then we'll see the best of ETH.
Before SIUUU there was RUUUUD
please lets bring in Ruud Van Nistelrooy Manchester United fc and Real madrid FClegendry
Do assistants actually have that much say??
Obviously lol
Hell yeah!! Even from Fergie days, Carlos Queiroz drove the transformation of his team. Mourinho was ruined after 2018 when his assistant Rui Faria left him. Ole's success and tactics was heavily dependant on his assistant Kieran McKenna. Pep had ten Haag and Arteta under his wing. Klopp managed to sustain after 2019 only because of his assistant Pep Lijnders.
Unpopular opinion: They bringing in Ruud So that we don’t struggle when they sack Ten Hag
Thats not really unpopular opinion, every united fans could see that vision IF something really bad happen in the middle of the season
Why would they bring in an average, novice manager to do that?
It will be stupid for him to be ETH assistant after the great work done at PSV
Great work as in finishing second and being sacked?
He’s not coming to United…. Burnley is the destination if he chooses to go to England
Still sceptical why will he leave being a manager to demote himself to be an assistant
Let me just play fifa instead...why arent we making signing 😢😢
Noice
I hope RVN stops ETH from being stubborn and playing favourites.
We need to change the style of play.
We must be on the front foot, keep possession of the ball and control games.
We must keep the press going and defend as a team.
😂😂😂😂😂with the set of players we have?
@@mayanjamartin7301 I know. I live in hope. We need to sell as many players as possible for the rebuild.
It doesn't matter his style of play, if he comes to united one man is the coach and it's ETH. I actually think its a downgrade coming to united as assistant coach.
Hang on, aren’t we supposed to be following Ajax’ blueprint? What’s the point of ETH then 😂
Pretty much becoming United's insurance plan should ten hag fail again.
This is nonsensical.
We got gass that same way when we got 10hag, all these clips of his style of play what happened after ? He had to throw that plan out the window. These lot who we cant sell aint gonna play no attractive style of football until there is a complete over haul. Stop dreaming ppl
Why do you guy break down tactics for you own teams….. by next season every team is going use these same tactic….
I cant get excited by this, becauuse this team has had great coaches come in, look what ragnick has done with austria....these players cant be coached no matter how many brilliant ideas a coach may have
The whole thing with Man U this season seems so slow like before. So don’t keep your hopes up, just keep an eye on the transfer market. Lately the owners knows how to ruin someone joy.
I don't know... This seems like too many cooks.
To shy to play football
