14 defeats in 38 games. CL finished bottom of the group. Clearly Ten Hag is NOT the best manager for United.
      400m million spent on transfers.
Yes Ten Hag had a plan and his team actually played well for 90 minutes at Wembley, but where was that all last season?
Hopefully Ten Hag can repeat the cup final form in all 38 league games in the upcoming season!

The way shearer and lineker treated him in his fa cup final postmatch press conference was beyond disrespectful considering he won a trophy to conclude an injury ridden campaign where he proved in the final, that a fit united team can beat anyone on their day he’s rightfully developing an ego he’s done so much for this club already brought 2 trophy’s home, signed some important players for United’s future (Martinez, Onana and Holjund) he’s given Garnacho and Mainoo breakthroughs into the first team, dealt with the Ronaldo and Sancho situations and he’s shown his passion for this club and especially the fans who love him back. Nobody is better for the job than Erik it’s about time he gets the praise he deserves and I’m glad Erik has been honest and accepted he has haters including the guys above him at INEOS

I’m happy with INEOS over all in this process despite the short sighted critic’s. It’s both normal practice and indeed essential for football teams to carry out end of season reviews. They’ve not been in control for long and let’s not forget they ‘inherited’ Ten Hag, he’s not their man.
The season was disgustingly bad, not just the Premier League performances but let’s not forget finishing bottom of the easiest of Champions League groups, the F.A. Cup win doesn’t mask that debacle, no way. INEOS would’ve been justified in sacking ETH but they’ve obviously taken into account the injury situation and after openly measuring up replacements they decided to stick with him. They’ve clearly been considered and thorough in their process and this is a massive vote of confidence for Ten Hag. Especially considering, if reports are true, that United spoke to other managers. There’s no room for sentiment in football, this had to be done. It looks like INEOS have weighed and measured each option available to them and Erik in their eyes has not been found wanting. He’s not my man, he has a lot of work to do to rebuild my faith and we’ll see if the flip-floppers flip again if we don’t start the season well but for now he has my full support.

So, you both plan to stay together for another two or three years. In other places, being with another woman while married is not allowed and even illegal, but in the UK, there are different rules. 🙈

It's 100% obvious to deluded ETH and the entire world that INEOS doesn't rate him one bit. He only keeps the job because Tuchel and the other managers didn't take up the offer. Like all other managers in the top flight in England, he WILL be judged on Premier League and Champions League success here, whether he likes that or not ..... Carabou and FA Cup wins might have done up until now, but from hereon HE KNOWS they aren't gonna 'cut the mustard', and he also knows that dodgy INEOS outfit won't give him forever to do it either, because they KNOW that if he fails, they fail! !

@@barryh.4220 Well 2 of those trophies were major English trophies so that first point about the trophies won in the Netherlands is invalid, secondly he was almost the person to win a champions league with a team from the Netherlands when everyone thought he'd be out in the group stages or round of 16, with a squad that only received proper recognition after that achievement. I hope you're not forgetting his Ajax squad knocked out real Madrid from the champions league and made it to the semis.

He is a tactical genius and good in developing young players.
It was a terrible year for all the United fans, but the last game was brilliant and I am still buzzing about the second Mainoo goal. That had the signature of Ten Hag.

I'm pretty sure his quotes on the press are being taken out of context and lost in translation to some degree, I speak german and can understand some dutch, those 2 languages are much more direct than english in terms of vocabulary and saying one thing in those languages can't be 100% translated to english word by word, I highly doubt him using the word for "gambling" im dutch is not the same as "gambling" in english, hell my native language is spanish, and I've heard a ton of managers and pundits saying "apostar por el resultado" which people could translate word by word to "gambling for the result", while in reality it would make more sense to translate it to "hoping for the result". Press misstranslating is absolute next level stupidity, and ESPN are major faulters of that...

I fully trust Ten Hag & when he said that INEOS decided that they already have the best manager that was music to my ears man cos it's true. Give this man the right tools to build something I've no doubt he'll succeed.

His communication stance changed drastically after Ineos took over. Before Ineos he never leaned on the injury crisis, he almost never mentioned it. It's intentional, one think he is not is emotional he seems very methodical to me. In my personal opinion I could give him another stinker of a season because let's face it United needs to rebuild on the pitch as it's on going off it.
