My god those were the days
On a side note, Ronaldinho was playing alone and second Nani will forever be extremely underrated, he was always compared to Cr7 and that's just not fair, Nani was world class dude had everything.
Totally agree with how unfair he was compared to ronaldo but nani was never world class. Too inconsistent to be considered world class. He was unplayable at times. Sheer class, but then he'd be crap for a couple of games.
People forget how good Gary nev always professional great right back
I'm so glad I got to see Rooney in his pomp. Best player ever
I miss this level of football, the utter quantity of magicians.. I fear we will never see such brilliance ever again.
Amazing Ronaldinho ❤
I was at this game its the first time iv seen it again unbelievable
4:48 what a pass by Nani for the Rooney goal
Yes,but that was a difficult finish made look easy...A Romario trademark finish..
The quality of Nani's pass for the second goal was amazing
Rooney this man is so underrated...he sacrificed his position so many times.... for me he's the greatest ever to ever do it for Manutd
Jose screwed Rooney for Man U putting him a a central midfielder and making him leave
These professionals are so good which makes so crazy how Messi and Ronaldo make it look easy
Rooney did it all, beast of a player will go down as an absolute legend & hopefully it won't be long before Old Trafford is singing Rooney Rooney Rooney all over again with his son Kai
Always rated Park very highly. Ran his socks off.... Respect
That ball from nani though for the 2nd 🔥🔥
I forgot how damn good Rooney was. Dude had the perfect mix of skill, aggression, and work ethic on the field.
11 wonders of Alex Ferguson beating the mighty Milan comprises of Inzaghi, Beckham, Ronaldinho, Pirlo etc with a team of Fletcha, Gibson, Park..
Just Amazing.
Young hungry team with the best striker in the world decimate some bloated has beens would be another angle.
All way past their prime except Pirlo though.
Putting Park in the same category as Fletcher and Gibson is wild. Fletcher and Gibson where fine players but Park was something else, one of the best man-markers and box to box midfielders ever. If you watched United in 2008 you would realise just how important he was for the CL win that year.
@@BrizyyEven Fletcher and Gibson isnt a proper comparison. Gibson was nowhere near the level of Fletch or Park lmao
And a young Thiago Silva
nani on his day was unreal so underrated and he’s still playing to this day 💯
Wayne Rooney showed the 2 how it's done! 😎🔥
AC Milan was a retirement home, Rooney had a better team around him
I like and watched the video just because of Wayne Rooney. As he's my favorite United player, eventhough he didn't play anymore.
Rooney was very underrated in the history of United. The guy was a complete beast! Best, Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo, etc. Rooney is definitely on that list!
The volley by Beckham was a great shot
Smua pemain MU the best is power sungguh imposible
People forget just how good Rooney was, this was an era of football where the world wasn't only following 2 players, you were spoilt for choice.
I swear, playing fifa or winning 11 there were numerous teams to choose cus they had legendary players
These guys really had a heart to die for the team.
The season Rooney proved he can play 9.
Never in doubt (imo) but he had so much to offer in so many other area's of the field!
@@jerryoshea3116 I agree! He has so many tools. That time in Korea we used to say 'Messi dribbles, Ronaldo scorers, and Rooney plays'
But not worth it. Wastes his crearivity
@@hajachimchak6279as lone ateget man in england its msassive waste
@@johannsebastienbach Yes indeed.👍 .Sure he would have 'Padded his Goal stats' but he was a lot more than just a centre forward!..And we know SAF did wonders for Man UTD,(CR7,Eric Cantona and many others)but not for Wayne Rooney! .And there's an point that most ignore ( and purely Hypothetical of course) but can u imagine if Rooney had gone to Spain&with all of the time and dominance of Real or Barc not having fun..He would have tore the place up!
Rafael what a cross for that 4th goal. Been lacking a right-back that can cross like that for years since he left.
This was the best night I ever had at old Trafford
The reception to David Beckham was amazing! The tv cameras really don’t capture the atmosphere
Van der sar and man u defense were solid. Rooney was incredible
Love it when Beckham warming up at 5:43 also added in to the highlights of the game
I miss this United 😢 Nani, Valencia, Ji sung they gave everything, All of it
When I hear Man U fans hope for titles with the current team I always want to remind them how champions play like. Our best player right now cannot do that run by Nani to provide the second goal. Breaking at such speed and pushing a pass, and Rooney's timing within razor blade margins is the difference between good teams and super good teams.
I come to see Rooney. But all I see is Ronaldinho… Best player ever. What a legendddddd 👊🏻👊🏻
Imagine if Rooney had Beckham assisting him every weekend at United...
Good era that. So many great players with character. Had a great tempo to it this game. Bet it was great to be at. At least I caught it on tv 🙌🏻
I pity those who do not know the beast rooney was in this era
Ronaldinho memang sangat luar biasa pada zamannya
The eagerness, togetherness, fighting spirit, leadership quality,is far superior to our current team
Today is 23/11/2023 I nearly shear tears 😢😢😢 when watching this highlight.United now a days is not like United before
At 6.09 : "Protest against the glazer regime"
Still there...😢
Ronaldinho's touch and pass was tops
6:43 Ji Sung Park!!!🇰🇷🇰🇷
Very nice video, thank you
park was always untidy on the ball but very effective....
Ronney best player in the word ❤
If you never watch this team you misses alot
The video quality is really dope
I pity those who can’t remember how good Rooney really was. They say his career was a failure…that’s one hell of a failure! Wonderful player to watch and one of the top 3 or 4 players England has ever produced.
