Good video all in all, you seem fun and interested and you try to make it a fair comparision and honest presentation. That you dont know every term does not really matter, its cute haha. For the video I want to give a feedback, if you dont mind. Audio from you seem low compared with the standard, other videos and even your own chapters that you put in with a music. It should be more even in sound volume. For the dust cover, I always put a bubble wrap on mine and it still looks nice. I guess, from what I see and think, maybe you used the wrong cleaner that was too aggressive. I would suggest to bruch off the dust (to not scratch it around on the clear plastic) and use window cleaner if needed. But as soon as you do something to it, it will kinda get little scratches, that's why I use the bubble wrap when not in use. I would guess you could polish it out, but be careful with overheating the material. Sometimes I could not really understand you that well but I guess that is the UK accent you have, I am not an English speaker, so maybe be aware of that because no all viewers might be from UK. It was just 2-3 times and not your fault, just saying that maybe you could try to talk more clearly or slower or something. The transcript helped me a bit and after reading it I can understand it but in the first listening I was a bit lost. Overall always nice to see some reviews or presentations and the opinion of someone that is fresh in the hobby or younger or getting into that. Nice clean setup. The "piece" is called a 45 RPM adapter.
The needle/cartridge is the same, what you refer to is something else: The whole thingy is called AT3600L and the replacement stylus/needle is called ATN3600L. So every AT3600L includes a ATN3600L but not every ATN3600L is a complete AT3600L system. Of course, both have the whole AT3600L mounted. You can just repalce the white part when it wears out (that is the AT_N_ N for Needle) part, while you leave the rest of the AT3600L on the player (ususally). On the angels horn, you may want to upgrade to the ATN91, that is complatible with the 3600L but a bit better. You have to set the tracking force to a lower amount, that would only be possible on the Angels Horn and not the Audio Technica turntable, because you cannot change the pressure/weight on the Audio Technica. The ATN91 just clips on, it is easy to do. Or you could change the whole system e.g. an Ortofon 2M Red, also only on the Angels Horn, but then you have to align it and balance it etc. to the new specs.
19:28 - that thin wire (?) that looks goldish is terrible, super thin, what is that for?

Just from this video I think the angels horn does sound better though that may also be the difference between the speakers

Great tactful words of wisdom, Megan, about the need for no shaming or hate when it comes to turntable brands. I really like the aesthetics of the Angels Horn and the counterweight. They sound quite similar to me, but I'm not in the room hearing them.
Oh, and those dust cloths over the speakers are called "grilles" 🙂

Awww one of my lovely deer 🦌 freinds just walked into my yard and layed down for a rest. She's really a beautiful sweetheart ❤. They really like it if you do mention to them how beautiful they are.....
The Angles Horn is clearly better sounding...I can tell that from the vocals . The speakers have well chosen drives and made well too. The Angles Horn turntable is better built I could see that from the unboxing video. Kinda reminds me of my Philips that was built in the 70s and is still working. The tone arm on rhe Angles Horn is the next level better and importantly it can be fitted with a much better cartridge/stylus. The next level Audio Teknica cartridge/stylus is substantially better and still under $80 US . So in 300 - 400 hours of playing time instead of replacing the stylus only ( that should be done they say 500 hours but in my opinion with this conical stylus/needle that would be too long if you wait until you notice it's sounding bad that is far to late) you could upgrade then to it . Pay attention to the recommended tracking force. Definitely don't go under the range that will cuase mistracking and also damage your records. Going to the middle of the range will almost always sound better and sometimes the heavier end will result in the best sound.
One more tip don't crank the volume all the way it might play that loud be the amplifier in it and the external power supply will be maxed out and must more likely to melt down so leave your self some head room. A small subwoofer ( 8" driver and not a lot of power) would be another upgrade around $100 and greatly improve the bass and overall all sound quality as the amplifier in the turntable won't need to work as hard . This one will need a subwoofer with a high level( speaker wires type) input to work those usually have an input directly from the speakers out from the turntable to the sub and then a set of out puts on the sub to the pair of speakers so you will need additional speaker wires too. This set up will enable you to place the speakers away from the walls at least a foot and 6 to 8 feet apart (a little more with both can be even better...experiment with that and angling them in a bit ) and open up the sound stage without sacrificing the low end bass. You don't necessarily need a sub for this either. If possible the speakers should be on a different surface than the turntable to isolate it from the lower frequencies that eventually can be picked up through the stylus/ needle. Then adjust the sub soit makes a difference and then turn the cutoff frequency down a bit and gain down a bit because a little less is more overall i.e. don't overwhelm the speakers wit the sub I'm thinking that 80 hertz turn over frequency and about half way on the gain for the sub.
    Charming video...have a wonderful day ❤.

A good High Fi Review Thank You and yes hating is not needed. If I may suggest bring the speakers away from the wall and if brave take the dust cover completely off and yes dust will get on the turn table so clean it very carefully.

The entry level turntables from Pro-ject and Rega are also good... Hope to see more hifi-reviews from you, right now the majority of reviewers are male. A young female reviewer is needed to keep the hifi-scene alive and accesible to a younger demographic. Maybe reviews of cd players, streaming amps, DAC, headphones,... Megan the female John Darko in the future 😊 Good luck on your hifi-journey!

these wooden tables are rebadged and sold under dozens of brand for way too much. I would recommend something from the likes of pro-ject or rega. Even better is to get a vintage direct drive, quartz locked technics like the sl-q2, and slap on an AT vm95 cart. You can start with the vm95e (bonded elliptical) and later on down the line upgrade to the vm95ml (nude microlinear.)

Now this purchase was basically an upgrade and investment at the same time. Having a birthday helped as I put money towards it alongside my parents (whilst it was out of my price range putting money towards it meant I could opt for the LP120). Originally I had big plans for the USB function but I've never used it.
