Creality software update has made my scanner completely unusable. Even after reverting to an older version, it still works poorly. This has been such a disappointing experience overall.
@@timkeepers3325 both returned on Amazon, frustrating experience of use, the raptor is slightly more precise, the most serious thing however is that they are very slow and sensitive, it takes very little to send them into error and cause them to lose tracking, ruining the scans. If I have to use one word to describe them is =Frustrating.
@@karen170878metall This comparison makes no sense. Anyone with some 3D scanning experience knows that laser scanners naturally perform better than infrared structured light scanners. It's like comparing an adult running against a child - who do you think will win? Don't mislead beginners here. Experienced users in this field will think your video ridiculous.
So I’ve learnt nothing from this video. What were you trying to show in this test. The only thing I’ve learnt is that the raptors have software issue’s from reading the comments. ? I was going to buy a raptor, but now I’m unsure what to do.
The frame drop issue with my Raptor scanner is just ridiculous. It starts at 50fps and then drops to 7fps within seconds. I have opted to return it and ended up purchasing the Einstar.

Hello!!!
Which one do you recommend?
@@AlexanderV1964 both! for different tasks
From the scans, it seems that Miraco is sharper.
Raptor in laser or infrared mode? Miraco or Raptor better? Good video!
laser mode... raptor is better

@@MaxCohen-ic4cn You are mistaken, these scanners are completely different, what one can do, the other cannot.

Please make another video to scan a more detail model for comparison, and I will subscribe you and give you likes for the next 10 videos...

It works very well for me on the latest firmware and the CR-scan program, (Core-I 9 13900k 64gb ram 1080ti)
Interesting, can you test small and large objects?
Large objects are best scanned with Miraco! Raptor will take a very long time to scan
