If someone thinks GTA suddenly ''became woke'' then they've never really paid attention to any GTA game.
I've played every GTA since GTA III and literally every single one of them has satire and political commentary. Weazel News in GTA is literally a Fox News parody. There's an overload of political commentary and satire like anti-war satire, ridiculing US patriotism etc. I guess lots of people think cars like ''The Liberator'' are meant to be serious and not sarcastic names? lmao. Ammunation itself is a whole bit about satire revolving US gun control.
The entire concept of GTA is a satire of the US. You can already tell they are going to do that again with modern social media concepts in the game, Karens, over the top patriotic Americans, women twerking everywhere etc.
