GTA does a good job at bringing a bunch of different kind of people together. Story lovers, shooter players, racers, grinders, RP players and so many more. It’s just a good universal game
@@DenyTheWitch Typically when you’re a big fan of something, it can be natural for you to want to see it in your favorite piece of media, especially when it’s already been included in previous iterations, but could be improved upon (in this case, improved upon could literally mostly mean taking lots of assets and AI behavior from RDR2). Exploring such diverse wildlife like that in real life is a lot more complicated than that. Could take years of traveling and research and extra money, especially when it’s not part of your actual career, which can be worth it if you’re truly that invested but still it’s complicated. You can also watch videos, read articles, etc. which is something I do often, but a video game is always more interactive and I think that’s where the unique fun of it comes from. Besides, there’s things you can do in a video game experience that you couldn’t ever risk doing in real life, like for example, getting so close to a wild alligator that it attacks and kills you. Not to mention, wildlife will make the game feel far more alive and immersive, as there’s a good chance most of the map will probably be just nature with no city. I’d argue it could be vital for the health of the game itself. You want a gta map with absolutely no animals whatsoever? Anyway, idk but you seem kind of triggered about what I wrote. It’d be nice if you kept that attitude to yourself.
That's why I think it looks terrible. I have the same problem with movies and tv shows. The hair, clothing, and makeup look too perfect. Most people in real life haven't showered in 2 days and wear shitty Walmart clothing.

Basically means that in digital world it actually takes much more time to make things look imperfect (and, therefore, realistic), than to keep them perfect. all the little scratches on metallic surfaces, fingerprint smudges on phones, skin damage on people's faces - all of this takes immense effort and time to produce. so when you see things that are "too perfect" in digital media (at least in videogames), assume that they did it not because that was what they wanted, but because you can only go so far when simulating real world imperfections. plus, if the game looks just like real life, it wouldn't be as eye-cathcing
I remember discussing around the lunchtable in 6th grade the many things we will see in GTA 5 on release. Its been over 10 years, and i like to think another group of 6th graders are doing the very same thing around their own lunchtable.

If they do or ever will , it’s definitely beyond a video game because no other video game just matches what rockstar does. Another thing to love about the trailer is that most of the social media and news clips it shows are recreations of or based on actual, real life clips from florida and the miami area, like the woman with hammers, the guy removing the gater from the pool and the girl twerking in the car. It shows that they put a lot of love and effort into researching the miami-dade area to make Vice City feel real.
Not sure if you've ever played Read Dead Redemption 2, but one of the most impressive things about that game as that each NPC actually lives and acts in a very realistic routine including waking, work, etc. I think we could be expecting much more out of the NPC's than we think.
And that's what will be in GTA 6 at a much bigger scale because 1. The ps5 / Xbox series x hardware is much more advanced than ps4 / Xbox one hardware because in rdr 2 there were much less vehicles , npcs , roads and buildings of course being set in early 1900s , also GTA 6 has more buildings and locations than any other GTA , the movement of characters I have seen from the leaks resembles rdr 2 and GTA 5 alot so many of the things from previous GTA games are in GTA 6, also according to some leaks hair growth feature from rdr2 and dynamic seemless cutscenes will be in GTA 6 and I hope they add GTA 4 ragdoll and gta 4 car damage physics because at time of 2008 that was really impressive so in these days it will be even more fleshed out, I am not sure about Lucia and Jason being the only play able characters so I think in my theory there will be another playable character in the game .
I noticed that RDR2 had details like that which were missing in GTAV. Functional stealth, true line of sight based chases, basic ability to talk to npcs, npcs having any sort of communication between each other. Some of these things even existed in previous GTA games but were missing from V for whatever reason.

No matter what age, I would always be super excited about TMNT, Mortal Kombat, GTA, Godzilla, DC and WWE. They have all made my childhood so memorable. I can still pick up an old TMNT nes game and have a great time. The next GTA for me evokes the same child like curiosity and excitement, I enjoy all the positive and negative hype around it. It doesn't matter how good or bad the game turns out to be, it's fun to be part of it. 😁😁

The option to press button A or B to have your character say either or is goddamn impressive to you? Or do you mean the way NPCs react to it? Because they basically did that in RDR1 in 2010. Greet them for a button A response, run into them for a button B response.

One day, my mom was sick from work and I was on summer vacation, so she came and hung out with me while I was mowing down innocent people in GTA V, to her horror. I handed her the controller, and within moments she was giggling like a little kid as she drove a stolen bus down a crowded sidewalk.

Red Dead 2 had NPC's with FULL routine schedules. They actually did a variety of stuff. That game came out in 2018, now imagine how much they must have improved on it since then for this game. They game will have so much life in it.
rdr2 had small towns and small amount of npcs but in gta 6 just a beach problably has hundreds of npcs so i doubt that every single one of them will have unique or any full routines but maybe, since its rockstar. 6 years is a long time. i dont think its realistic since the city will be massive with thousands and thousands of npcs if we take the trailer for granted

The "having NPCs go around doing a bunch of pretend tasks" thing is old technology and not even remotely impressive. The actual technical obstacle was the number of NPCs doing it at the same time, and properly simulating/synchronizing all this stuff while they were offscreen (which again, Oblivion and Skyrim tended to do badly, resulting in NPCs disappearing from the universe entirely at times) - and in terms of the technology/hardware requirements for this? We peaked in that regard years ago. So yeah, let's keep it in perspective - it's not the complexity of the AI that's actually impressive in Red Dead 2; it's the polish, and the attention to detail. Both of which were a matter of developer attitude rather than technology.

The things that surprised me the most about the GTA VI trailer was the variety of different npc models and the physics. I did not expect it to be that real.
It's crazy how far graphics have come. I remember seeing the trailer for GTA SA on some ps2 demo disk when I was like 12 years old. I was blown away how realistic everything looked.
2:40 I feel like it'll run at 30fps (don't know resolution but maybe between 1440p-4k) on consoles because of how good it looks, just like how good RDR2 looked on last gen but never got a current gen version (which it should) and will probably release on pc 1-2 years after console release.
As a legitimate resident of Miami, I am MORE THAN HAPPY with this trailer. There was obviously so much love that went into the world, and so much obvious research that went into it. I recognized almost every location in that trailer and Im SO HAPPY they have it all. The only thing me and my friends could talk about was all the places we know and love that might be playable in the game. CANT WAIT!!!

I think the trailer would've gotten over 120+ million in 24 hours if it had been released on schedule. They released it 13 hours before they had planned and many people didn't even know it was out.
I think numbers of views they got is accurate, even if they released it on schedule.. if people can't find time to watch 1 mins trailer how they gonna find time to play 100s of hours in this game.
Yeah, the views were a bit slower at first and many people were going to sleep to make time seem to move faster and my friends who were gonna check out the trailer saw it the following morning, etc. so... that leak cost Rockstar a few cool world records. Sure, they're not super important or anything, but it still really sucks that the trailer got less views than it likely would've just because it was leaked early and then quickly released to stop the leak.

I saw a little bit of the leaked stuff, it was one of the more recent ones, it had some gameplay and debugging footage. What i found interesting about the trailer was what they didnt show. It had a focus on more of the city and Lucia. Im not just excited for the game, but also what stuff the future trailers will have. Honestly im just happy it showed nothing about online or microtransactions. If its full of that shit im out.
I think Rockstar is unique in that their trailers are always in-game cutscenes which themselves use in-game graphics. I'm sure they cranked it to ultra settings for everything, but it's actually the game engine rendering that trailer. They never create separately-produced cutscenes like e.g. Blizzard is famous for. But what really blew my mind is how it makes GTA 5 (and basically every other game so far) look so dated.

Rockstar have had a track record of providing games that either surpass or equal the quality of their trailers so its a rare occassion where im straight up hyped.
This is Rockstar's first game without their co-founder, Houser, who was the creative director and lead writer on all their games. Two other of their long-time employees that were with the company since the start also left. We'll see if they can keep the same quality.

Another thing to love about the trailer is that most of the social media and news clips it shows are recreations of or based on actual, real life clips from florida and the miami area, like the woman with hammers, the guy removing the gater from the pool and the girl twerking in the car. It shows that they put a lot of love and effort into researching the miami-dade area to make Vice City feel real.

Not sure if you've ever played Read Dead Redemption 2, but one of the most impressive things about that game as that each NPC actually lives and acts in a very realistic routine including waking, work, etc. I think we could be expecting much more out of the NPC's than we think.
And that's what will be in GTA 6 at a much bigger scale because
1. The ps5 / Xbox series x hardware is much more advanced than ps4 / Xbox one hardware because in rdr 2 there were much less vehicles , npcs , roads and buildings of course being set in early 1900s , also GTA 6 has more buildings and locations than any other GTA , the movement of characters I have seen from the leaks resembles rdr 2 and GTA 5 alot so many of the things from previous GTA games are in GTA 6, also according to some leaks hair growth feature from rdr2 and dynamic seemless cutscenes will be in GTA 6 and I hope they add GTA 4 ragdoll and gta 4 car damage physics because at time of 2008 that was really impressive so in these days it will be even more fleshed out, I am not sure about Lucia and Jason being the only play able characters so I think in my theory there will be another playable character in the game .
I noticed that RDR2 had details like that which were missing in GTAV. Functional stealth, true line of sight based chases, basic ability to talk to npcs, npcs having any sort of communication between each other. Some of these things even existed in previous GTA games but were missing from V for whatever reason.

No matter what age, I would always be super excited about TMNT, Mortal Kombat, GTA, Godzilla, DC and WWE. They have all made my childhood so memorable. I can still pick up an old TMNT nes game and have a great time. The next GTA for me evokes the same child like curiosity and excitement, I enjoy all the positive and negative hype around it. It doesn't matter how good or bad the game turns out to be, it's fun to be part of it. 😁😁

Red Dead 2 had NPC's with FULL routine schedules. They actually did a variety of stuff. That game came out in 2018, now imagine how much they must have improved on it since then for this game. They game will have so much life in it.

The "having NPCs go around doing a bunch of pretend tasks" thing is old technology and not even remotely impressive. The actual technical obstacle was the number of NPCs doing it at the same time, and properly simulating/synchronizing all this stuff while they were offscreen (which again, Oblivion and Skyrim tended to do badly, resulting in NPCs disappearing from the universe entirely at times) - and in terms of the technology/hardware requirements for this? We peaked in that regard years ago.
So yeah, let's keep it in perspective - it's not the complexity of the AI that's actually impressive in Red Dead 2; it's the polish, and the attention to detail. Both of which were a matter of developer attitude rather than technology.

I think the trailer would've gotten over 120+ million in 24 hours if it had been released on schedule. They released it 13 hours before they had planned and many people didn't even know it was out.
I think numbers of views they got is accurate, even if they released it on schedule.. if people can't find time to watch 1 mins trailer how they gonna find time to play 100s of hours in this game.
Yeah, the views were a bit slower at first and many people were going to sleep to make time seem to move faster and my friends who were gonna check out the trailer saw it the following morning, etc. so... that leak cost Rockstar a few cool world records. Sure, they're not super important or anything, but it still really sucks that the trailer got less views than it likely would've just because it was leaked early and then quickly released to stop the leak.

I saw a little bit of the leaked stuff, it was one of the more recent ones, it had some gameplay and debugging footage. What i found interesting about the trailer was what they didnt show.
It had a focus on more of the city and Lucia. Im not just excited for the game, but also what stuff the future trailers will have.
Honestly im just happy it showed nothing about online or microtransactions. If its full of that shit im out.

I think Rockstar is unique in that their trailers are always in-game cutscenes which themselves use in-game graphics. I'm sure they cranked it to ultra settings for everything, but it's actually the game engine rendering that trailer. They never create separately-produced cutscenes like e.g. Blizzard is famous for.
But what really blew my mind is how it makes GTA 5 (and basically every other game so far) look so dated.

Rockstar have had a track record of providing games that either surpass or equal the quality of their trailers so its a rare occassion where im straight up hyped.
This is Rockstar's first game without their co-founder, Houser, who was the creative director and lead writer on all their games. Two other of their long-time employees that were with the company since the start also left. We'll see if they can keep the same quality.

In the video game industry, when the old guard that built the company into what it is today starts leaving, that company usually starts trending downhill. Look at Blizzard, Bungie, DICE, and a plethora of other examples. I'm not saying that will be the case for Rockstar. Just that's its an obvious and observable trend. Blizzard had an impeccable reputation at one time, too. Now it's shit sandwich after shit sandwich from them.
