Thanks as always for taking the time to show off the community’s hard work, my friend! This is a great showcase of some of the new features, and I’ll be sure to let you know once another preview build is ready to show off.
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to cover the hard work and talent you, your team and Oli have put into the Redux and Modder's Edition Engine. It's been amazing to collaborate with you on Genesis and I'm sure the community is very happy to see how it's been going. I'll happily cover more once the future preview and builds progress along with development. Be sure to take your time with it and pace yourselves as it clearly shows all that hard work is becoming tangible and realized even with just little peeks like this.
I see that the binoculars and map have been changed to the m.i.s.t.! I love it! Also 15:25 The special stego is the mutant stegosaurus from reborn. Nibelungen Paradise is the final map in the mobile games And In the other games the huntable animals didn’t run away from carnivore calls. Great video 👍
It is a nice touch making the map and binoculars tie into the modern Carnivores more. As I was recording this episode I wasn't sure how the trophy animals reacted to calls aside from their own. I knew the ambients would flee but couldn't quite recall for herbivores and them hearing predator calls. The Modder's Edition Engine and Genesis Redux are looking really good and this is just the first preview of them combined. The future is looking really bright for both projects/aspects.
And this is only the tip of the iceberg too. With all the Modder's Edition Engine has to offer Genesis Redux has so much more we might see as its development continues.
This is still just a check-in as the development keeps ongoing. It'll be a while still before we can even expect to hear an estimate for when the projects are going to be ready to go public.
This is our first look at the Carnivores Genesis Redux using the Modder's Edition Engine and it really looks amazing so far. There's still a lot in development for each but this starting sneak peek is incredibly promising.
I can't wait to see how Genesis turns out. I'm looking forward to seeing more. It would be awesome to also see these new features be added into the original trilogy games too.
The Modder's Edition Engine (MEE) does work as a framework built onto the game's engine so it is probably already using either Carnivores 1 or 2 as its base so it might be possible we'll see a MEE take or remaster of the base games in time with some of these expanded features.
The Genesis Redux is highly anticipated but with the Modder's Edition Engine released too there's no telling what mods might start using it. It's really a game-changer for anyone modding Carnivores.
It's hard to say. The OG Carnivores is over 20 years old now so it's hard to say where and who might still follow it from the original teams and studios which made it. But they'd probably be proud to see the legacy still going by their fans with all of the mods that are made off the base games.
I think it is still quiet for the Genesis redux progress. Saurian picked up a new pc not long ago as well as underwent some surgery I believe so I think he is still recovering. If there is any news about it Saurian will probably make it known through his channel or twitter.
I'm not sure it is possible to make Carnivores mods for mobile. They might be programmed differently and use different coding than the old pc games making it either impossible right now or very difficult.
@@ronald1202 It's not a problem at all. I'd imagine from Carnivores popularity there might be some people who have tried figuring out or are trying to figure out if making mobile mods are possible.

Saurian, you should make a video on your top 5 favorite carnivores mods if you haven't
Mr.saurian, why is the hunting rife so fast at unloading

Wow! it looks amazing! it will be completely different from the 2016 Carnivores Genesis version.
And this is only the tip of the iceberg too. With all the Modder's Edition Engine has to offer Genesis Redux has so much more we might see as its development continues.
That's truly awesome
The Modder's Edition Engine really is a testament to the modding community and opens so many new possibilities for OG Carnivores.
Been waiting for this lets gooooooooooooo

Oh now this... This is gonna be good... I can just tell.

This is great
It's amazing and though this is just a little sneak peek as it remains a Work In Progress already the potential is clearly evident for it.

One of my most anticipated Mods for Carnivores, the other being Far North.

Makes me wonder if any of the original developers notice how far they're game has come

@@TheSurvivalVis Oh I should know that before I commenting.
