I would personally nerf the galil very slightly and buff the famas. Also both m4 needs one shot headshot in very close range like aug. Makes absolutely no sense that I can do the same with a pistol but not with a rifle.
Exactly like how can a five seven one tap the head but not a god damn m4😭 Although as you said it definitely needs to be restricted to close range(with the aug getting buffed in compensation)as if it was all ranges like the ak they would be overpowered
I think they should just buff the famas. The famas is probably the worst gun in the game that people actually use. I don't think the galil is too strong
Great video, i too believe the galil needs some kind of nerf but i wouldnt touch the galil's damage ill target more the acurracy and recoil cooldown which in my opinion is what makes it way too strong, the galil is as precise as an m4a1-s and have very similar recoil cooldown and the same recoil distance, which should'nt be the case because it breaks the ct, vs t guns philosophy that being CT have more acurrate guns but deal less dmg and T having less acurracy but more dmg. What i would do try and balance this is first to swap the firing and crouching acurracy from the galil to the famas, nerf the overall recoil of the galil and make it more in tune with the ak but being more precise than the ak, nerf the recoil cooldown a bit and at last increase famas bullets to 30 and reduce the price to 1900.
I actually think the accuracy is kind of holding the gun back as from my experience it has a lot of spread, making it more precise than the ak would basically make it better than the m4 STATISTICALLY which would be op, the recoil pattern on the other hand seems easy compared to the famas so that's true And yeah definitely increase the famas bullets to 30, the fact that the only rifle with a burst fire mode has a mag size not divisible by 3 is INSANE

Try using the galil in 3 or 2 bullet burst and you ll see what im talking about.

yep, galil is not too strong at all. Stats are pretty same with m4a4 but with higher penetration but harsh recoil. Famas sucks at range too much

In CS 2 I'm more consistent with a galil than the ak. Ak spraying feels really bad.
just make it more expensive , CT economy is so dogshit meanwhile T side has great gun for 1800
