I used to Thrift. Loved it..my husband also enjoyed it ..he was amazing finding the deals...sadly he passed away a few years ago and I haven’t been able to get myself interested in going back. Maybe memories. But seeing this today made me excited to think about going again...the collar has potential and is cute on you..
If you ever get to NY USA . I live near Hudson Ny you could stay at our house free. So if you ever need a get away let me know. I have an extra spare room.
The collar is just very vintage and beautiful. With a plain dress it would be smashing. Everything you found is so beautiful. That vase... stunning!. Good job ...
My favorite piece was the crystal vase! So beautiful. I also like the draw organiser for beads, earings, rings, etc. It's super useful. I was picturing the white embroidered collar over a white dress. White on white. I sometimes do mozaic, I would grout the area that's missing a piece on your pot holder. I also went thrifting today, it was great to be out again. Enjoy all your goodies.
What amazing finds. And I’m not at all surprised that the gentleman recognized you after a year and with mask - you are a very distinctive and beautiful girl. Try peroxide and baking soda with a little dish soap to get the stain out of your beautiful white collar. I remember my inter wearing those collars in the 60’s (she wore vintage a lot) with a simple dress - they looked stunning and I think your collar looks stunning on you too. My favourite item was the beautiful tea tin - I’d use it for tea but you could store anything in there. ❤️👍🇨🇦
I love going with you on your thrifting and seeing your choices. Jacket and collar will be just right with the right clothing. Elise, turn the collar around so the bow is at the front and the longest part is at the back. Xx
Dear Elise, the Moore Lockdown we have the more I love to go thrifting with you. I like 💕 how you touch and feel the subjects and how you decide to buy or not to buy. And I love your style. 💯
I love your green theme today. The white collar will be lovely over a dress and the tea caddy is very pretty and the little vase. It must be so nice to be able to go the thrift shops. I miss that, so thanks for taking us there! That jewellery storage unit is such a wonderful find. I need about three xx
Elise you can rock anything girl! I love thrifting! It use to be my favorite thing to do until I got into a car accident and almost lost my leg. It’s just to hard for me to get around now! Love your channel 💓
I loove the collar, looks so stunning on u! Would love to see it with an all black dress, would give such "dark academian" vibes. Loved the video, thank you for being so inspiring
You have certainly matured over the years. In early videos, you would just buy, buy, buy when you went thrifting. Now you are careful, thoughtful, and ask "How can I use this." I think the white collar will work for you. It probably doesn't go well with a turtleneck but I think it will be beautiful with the right round-neck blouse or dress.
I think it's also because I have a full apartment of things now, when I was younger I had a full home to make homey if that makes any sense :) I look forward to style the collar at some point.
The beautiful little flowery tin teabox and the orange tablecloth were my favorites! You have such a unique taste in housewares and decor, so I love to see what you find! But the cobalt blue jacket is such a great piece and I can see you styling it lots of different ways. As always, I love your thrifting videos and I’m always so impressed with how fun and nice the finished video is when you’re filming by yourself! It must take a lot of work :) hope you enjoy your new treasures!
I loved the orange tablecloth ! Thanks for taking us along ! Thrift shops around here are always too busy, I dont want to go inside, no way to keep a good distance in them. Old photographs are so interesting to me, I feel the same as you when I see them ! Thank you so much for your videos, they really brighten my day. ☀️
The Battenberg collar is meant to be THE collar of the garment, not worn with one. So a top or dress with a plain rounded neckline. You're very fortunate to be able to wear almost any colour!
Clean the glass vase with white wine vinegar and bicarbonate soda, mix them together in vase with warm water, with small drop washing up liquid and leave for few hours, should get rid of mark and leave it sparkling, works for me. X
Hi Elise, the collar will go perfect with the cottagecore / countryside style dress. 👗Such dresses have pastel floral patterns and are usually tight around the neck and they have boring flappy collars by design. So adding your purchased white collar will go perfect to tuck under those original dress collar flaps. I'm barely catching up with your videos from the past few weeks, but I look forward to seeing you style this gorgeous bit, I'm sure it will be fun! 😄 So glad you took us with you for this fun thifting video!!! Sending lots of positive vibe to you and Luna the Boo 🤗😉
80’s flashback with that Battenberg lace collar. 1986-1989 we would wear those over denim or chambray dresses, or floral dresses such as Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock.
Oh my gosh, that orange organizer! It is indeed super retro--my dad has at LEAST two of those on his workbench, because where else will one store all one's random screws and nails and et cetera??
Love the collar. Maybe on a black velvet dress, or top with dressy jeans. I'd redo the 'blazer' a little. I'd remove the buttons, narrow the front to meet at the center, and make a button and loop closer at the top/bottom of the v neck.
I use to own a couple of those collars, sold them at a flea market. I think it looks great, not wierd, I wore mine over long dresses. All your items are lovely.
Hi Elise! How lovely that you found the vintage tabletop storage drawers at the shop you used to work in. It looks like a shop that I could loose track of time while browsing through the history. Yes, you can absolutely rock the Battenburg lace collar. I wore a cream one as a teenager. It doesn’t look like a baby bib at all. Battenburg lace is very special. Much love to you and Luna. ❤️😄
The collar will be pretty with a dress. You can rock anything!!! I’m in southern United States. So fun to thrift with you in Denmark. Nice, but sad, to find family albums being sold. I purchased one just to own a bit of real history.
I regret not buying, it was expensive though, but once I found an old album full of get well cards to a child. I teared up at the thought of it sitting there in a store like that. I wonder what happened to her because there were 5 or so blank pages towards the back. I sent love to her where ever she may be now💕
Elise the collar would look better with a no collar solid color dress or shirt/blouse, no turtle necks. Love the crystal vase, thank you for sharing Shalom
Lots of nice things in the thrifts, especially the one you worked at. I loved the flowered can and the collar. If you decide you can't wear it you could frame it on velvet and put a picture in the middle. How are you doing with your crochet?
My mom was purchasing that sort of lace collar when I was a kid, so late 60's, early 70's, for, as you said, a dress without a pretty collar, or to wear with a sweater, so it looked like a blouse collar popping out. I think it's pretty cool if you are into vitage, as you are.
I use to have very little things, I am minimalist. But these things are beautiful though. I like the 70's.
I'm sorry to hear that you lost your husband. I hope you can find the joy en thrifting for yourself again ❤
Thank you.
You are making me crave a thrifting day😍
The white collar is so you, looks pretty. Have a wonderful day
If you ever get to NY USA . I live near Hudson Ny you could stay at our house free. So if you ever need a get away let me know. I have an extra spare room.
"A grown up baby "......lol...good one ! 🤣🤣😂
I would use the collar with a floral cute dress in like pastel colours, I think it would look lovely 😊
That floral tin was amazing! the collar is perfect... it'll go with a lot... think of it as a giant necklace!
The collar is everything. You can wear it both ways it’s gorgeous
Hello from the east coast of America 🇺🇸! I have to tell you that from what I saw your thrift stores are AMAZING!!!!
That jewelry storage container is a great find. I'm glad that you bought that tin home, its gorgeous!
Tin and crystal vase are real finds👍
We need more thrifting videos! 💖
I'll try my best.
Try turning the lace collar around so the big section is at the back of your outfit. Love your vlogs 🥰
The collar is just very vintage and beautiful. With a plain dress it would be smashing. Everything you found is so beautiful. That vase... stunning!. Good job ...
If anyone can find the perfect dress to go with that lovely collar, it's you, Elise! Love your thrifting videos!
Thank you!
Great finds at the thrift store! I absolutely loved the collar bib you bought. I'm sure you will find the perfect dress to go with it. Saginaw, Texas

Danish thrift shops look amazing! We don't have places like this in Brazil. I love watching you looking through these places!

Love the collar. You’ll find a style of dress it works perfect on. Liked that hat too.
That can looks like something for your tea bags
Loved the thrifting video. My fav was the crystal vase, it’s gorgeous. 😀❤️🇨🇦
I agree, I absolutely love it ^_^
I really liked that decorative tin you bought. Looked like an Eastern Indian design. Great haul
Loving this green and white jacket blazer with the green sweater underneath! Looks so good styled together! Very nice.
I luv it when you thrift
I am so looking forward to thrift shops opening in my country soon
The blue jacket is the perfect layering piece. ❤️
I loove the collar, looks so stunning on u! Would love to see it with an all black dress, would give such "dark academian" vibes. Loved the video, thank you for being so inspiring
The collar is very pretty....and very 70's!!! It looked great with the green top, too.

I think the same not to wear with a turtle sweater only with a blouse.

I think the collar would definitely work with the right dress. The glass vase is my favourite. 👍❤
Thrifting video, yayy❣🤩
Clean the glass vase with white wine vinegar and bicarbonate soda, mix them together in vase with warm water, with small drop washing up liquid and leave for few hours, should get rid of mark and leave it sparkling, works for me. X
It was actually just normal diry, it went right off when I washed it, so it was amazingly easy. And now it looks new.

I think the white collar is adorable!

Love the collar-it looks great on you.
I love the collar, I think it looks gorgeous.
I quite like the collar. I would dye it another colour and wear it as a piece of jewellery. Great finds!
I used to have several Battenburg lace collars that I wore in the 90's. My favorite was a sailor collar I wore so much it finally wore thin and tore.😣
Thank you for a fun thrifting video. The vase that you purchased looks like cut crystal.
Yes like the colour you can turn it around the other way
You look fabulous in that green outfit, Elise! 💚
Love collar and colouful tin. Great finds
I use that organizer for some of my jewelry. Love it
'Captivated'.... Your English vocabulary is exemplary Elise....
Love the collar!! You can make it work! Also love the blue blazer! 💖
Oh my gosh, that orange organizer! It is indeed super retro--my dad has at LEAST two of those on his workbench, because where else will one store all one's random screws and nails and et cetera??
I like everything you bought. You could store tea bags, coffee or hot cocoa in the containers. Your a retro girl for sure. 🤗
Love the collar. Maybe on a black velvet dress, or top with dressy jeans. I'd redo the 'blazer' a little. I'd remove the buttons, narrow the front to meet at the center, and make a button and loop closer at the top/bottom of the v neck.

Your thrifting videos are so inspiring, Elise! I actually found your channel by one of these :) Thank you!
Thank you!
The pretty tin you bought looks very similar to one that I have, which was given to me from my Mum..think it came from the 50’s/60’s 🥰
Elise the collar would look better with a no collar solid color dress or shirt/blouse, no turtle necks.
Love the crystal vase, thank you for sharing Shalom
Love the jacket... the collar... aaaah nooo...
I don't know if you watch Tiny Acorn but she is getting into those collars as well. Look at her favorites video.
TFS
Lots of nice things in the thrifts, especially the one you worked at. I loved the flowered can and the collar. If you decide you can't wear it you could frame it on velvet and put a picture in the middle. How are you doing with your crochet?
