music is still good. mostly you have to go looking for it beccase most radica doesn't play them, some like radio 95 b FM in Auckland NZ, Where I heard this song! no one else was playing it. bFM still plays great new music of ALL TYPES today. that other Stations play months later.
This is such an underrated song I feel. Shit, I don't even think many people know who they are. I remembered this song because my girlfriend's dog just stumbled and fell and I just started singing this in my head... Then I was like wait... I remember razorlight!!!
Wow lads serious genius as a group..... best band in a long long time... wish ye could have worked everything out... this song has to be one of yer best ever.... xxx
LYRICS: I heard that it was a really big deal And then I found out it was just nothing at all You always say, "It's such a big deal" But we both know that that's nothing at all And I'll get over the breaks And I'll stumble and fall And I'll get over the breaks And sometimes stumble and fall You just won't admit that it's all in your hands So I have to try so hard to make you understand But all you can say is "It's just part of the deal" And I never asked you to understand How I keep myself to myself in the crush of the crowd But all you can say is "Who cares? It's just part of the deal" Oh yeah and I'll, yes I get over the breaks And I'll stumble and fall And I'll get over the breaks And sometimes I stumble and fall, yes I Say yes, say yes Say yes say no Well I, I get over the breaks And I'll stumble and fall And I'll get over the breaks And I'll stumble and fall Yes, I fall Yes, I fall I'll stumble and fall
I'd love to see them live now. Iknow they've been touring with James. Would be cool ti listen to them live now and see how their hair situation is now ?

Despising this band might be an outrage and a sort of blasphemy; those who rely on these guys are the first supporters of indie and alternative music, where rock and melodies stick together in a new formula. I absolutely commend the strength and the brightness held in such a wonderful style and the demonstration of indie success are clear and irrefutable: thousands of people started becoming addicted to the newer artists and the explosion of this new rock/electronic genre caused the evolution of the sound and the combination of some epic tendencies in life: being indie was referred to the sound but also to the clothing and the manners, you mightn't be indie if you didn't come up with smart jackets and addictive haircuts! You have some qualities to show off and you can't waste your time following up the style of the first rockers! Your main theme and aim is innovation: innovation in music, in the way you dress and in the way you relate to the audience as well.

in 2005 a nerd introduced me to the Anti Idol album where i heard this song for the first time. From that day i introduced him to alcohol and women, we became best friends and he threw his thick magnifying glasses away. ROCK ON!
Great band, know it's getting old now but yet the sound is nostalgic ,youthful and fresh simultaneously and that's something I like about a band. Imo "Indie rock" killed itself for becoming too smart and self-aware. Loved that rather tongue-in-ceek era of early 00s more. Don't get the FX in his voice though, glad I can always pick the live version.
so true the opening riff came into my head and had to find and listen to this, but this song is just so..... nothing..... maybe its the video i somehow i find it better without the video lol
This song reminds me of being a teenager in the mid 2000s.
I was 25 at the time, but still rocks me this song!
Oh, the nostalgia.
Same here. 2005-2009, you just had to be there man. 14-17 years old. Gigs, parties in the capital, it was special. I miss it dearly
Gettin fingered n stumbling n fallin about aye
🎉😢
These old razorlight songs remind of a fucked up period of my life when I was 19. I love it
The search is over!! This song was forgotten for so long and here we are. Rediscovering those 2000-2010's again.
I'm 48 and still one of my fave tunes from when music was fuckin good!! 😎

so true my friend
This is my favourite Razorlight song. Love Johnny Borrell's vocals. Great song, full of energy and passion.
I was going to comment but you did it for me happy vibes fellow tune lover.❤🎉
Love the drums driving the song along.
Fun Fact. The drummer did a couple of days at a double glazing firm I used to work at. Then he quit when he realised how shit it was.
The fucking emotion in his voice during the chorus always brings me on the verge of tears, energy is so contagious and I love it
Sounds great! I remember indie bands like The libertines, Bloc Party or Arctic monkeys when they started. Good times in the year 2004
Absolutely, indie guitar driven rock really peaked back then..such good times!!
Discovered indie @40 years old, never looked back. 👍
They weren't actually "indie" though: they were all on major labels.
Those were late in indie scene . Later than my comment
@@my_uncle_said XD
I nearly walked out of the Manchester apollo because they didnt do this.. Smashed it in the encore. I left a happy lad that night.
This is such an underrated song I feel. Shit, I don't even think many people know who they are. I remembered this song because my girlfriend's dog just stumbled and fell and I just started singing this in my head... Then I was like wait... I remember razorlight!!!

De lo mejor..

AWESOME lo
レイザーライトの曲を初めて聴いた時、また新たな才能を発見したと喜びました!
would have been cool if they could have kept writing songs like this.
When I was 13 years old... Good memories. ;D
Final year at uni memories. This period, up to about 2007, in retrospect now feels like indie’s last hurrah.
Not an indie band though: they were on a major.
Such a shame that this band was so short lived. But they left us with some gems.
What are you on about? They’re still together. Do your research, you oaf.
YES< DOUBLE VISION
Still intense.
Still epic.

Wow. How'd you go from being number one indie band in the UK to being historic? Amazing music and talented artists
Weren't indie though. They were on a major.

shit hot means great!
@nljthorpe Dude this song was back in 2003. And this is more Post-Punk-Revival. If you don't anything about music, then please. Don't talk.
Reminds me of How Far We've Come by Matchbox 20, musically.
Nothing like that. Stop trolling.
