I absolutely adore Lalah Hathaway's music. I remember seeing Lalah and Rashaan Patterson at a Jazz Festival in Northern California many years ago. It is great that Jose is paying tribute to the late great Bill Withers. We all should celebrate the music of soul music icons such as William Withers, Billy Paul, Bobby Womack and others. This is meaningful music unlike some of the tasteless lyrics of some of the music that the music industry is presenting today. I will look for this young man's music and when this pandemic is controlled, I plan to go to his concert.
