Patterned Plywood Charcuterie board and Cutting board

Thanks for watching. This a Charcuterie board I built as a gift for one of my sisters. I wanted to make it look like a cleaver and decided to use patterned plywood for the panel to mimic Damascus steel. Due to the glues used to make plywood, I suggest that this type of project only be used as a decoration, it may not be food safe. Please like and subscribe and ask any questions you like.

I have a question that will the ply wood not swell when washed?

I wouldn’t recommend submerging this in water. The oil helps protect it and it’s cleaned with a damp towel. You can re-oil it as needed. I would suggest using this for serving more than anything else.
