Thanks for the video! After having used tree fern fiber for Anthuriums for a long time, have you found any major drawbacks to including the ingredient in potting mixes? And what are the unique benefits only fern fiber can provide to Anthuriums? As opposed to other organic and inorganic substrates that also functions to: (e.g. bark, coco husk/coir, perlite, zeolite, LECA etc) 1) hold and release moisture gradually 2) aerate the soil Fern fiber is pretty expensive, and I'm debating if the potential benefits is worth the investment or not for my A. warocqueanum
No not really. It has worked great for me since. The only issue that I'm facing atm is the lack of supply is real. Has been hard to find for the past few months and I'm currently running without them :(
