I admire the work of every blacksmith !!! But how difficult the work was without all of this technical help and machinery. What strength, art and knowledge they had. Respect !!!
It takes different techniques. It used to take more time, but that doesn't mean it was harder, just that it was longer. Remember that they were not as rushed as we are, back then.

I'd love to be in an apprenticeship with this man for a couple years. Real craftsmanship instead of junk made out of china. At least this will last for eternity. Absolutely beautiful work!
Top skills, according to a theoretical schooled metallurgist. I really do like how straight the blade is after initial forging and heat treatment. And than the way Freerk makes the hand guard, just amazing! And of course his thought process, use and knowledge of tools to use
A rare and extremely skilled craftsman, I thank you for posting this, as it is very interesting to watch your craftsmanship produce such a superb sabre. Count Wilczek one of the Polish noblemen, (I and the the Polish ambassador to America have the same surname) helped to stop the Turks from entering Vienna in 1683 with the largest cavalry charge in history.
Yes. The Crimean Khan was given the task of meeting and stopping the Poles, but the Khan betrayed the Ottomans and allowed the Poles to just pass them by.
Well , what can I say, anyway, God, this man looks like "the man destined to wield the swords he makes , but thank God he makes them, and by God , "He makes them', what a artistry, he is the Michel Angelo of Smithy, well I know I should explain it in precise words but I don't know how, since I am a Indian I am not good enough in English language as I am a Indian and a ' kannadiga ' well, many may not understand it but we are a linguistic state in India. So, please forgive me for my English ,but all I want to say is ,I can't tell you ,how much I appreciate,no, love, your work and I have seen most of your work on RUclips, man , you are a "great artist of steel" as was Michel Angelo, Rafael, or many others in their chosen expertise, even though " Smith's, Carpenters, Cobblers , and many other craftsmen " were never considered as artists by this world since, well, all the time, but sir, I salute you"
Well you are right, but despite the modern equipment the smith should know and decide where the modern equipments, like power hammer, should hit, and how hard or slow , or the angle of the blade on power grinders or sanders,to sharpen the blades ,or when quenching the blade it's the blacksmith who decides when to quench it ,whether the steel is heated in coal or gas, sir, as far as I think modern equipments have made us more efficient but not taken over human expertise completely and in my opinion they can never, if we think ," the men painted with airbrush are lesser than the men with paint brush ' is for you to decide. Sorry I didn't mean to offend you but it's only my opinion and I could be wrong ,and if I am ,I apologise.
Truly unbelievable work. I'm not even a sword or blacksmith, I'm a cabinet maker... but I just love watching how people can create such beauty. It really is incredible of the detail in the Damascus right through to the head on the handle. Fabulous work, really appreciate your videos.
You showed us that you are a really good swordsman, thank you for filming this and showing it to us. This video was uploaded 4 years ago. I think it deserves millions of likes. It seems that you made a Turkish sword from the Seljuk Empire period from Damascus steel.
The media makes people hate all that is Arabic without any convincing reason, just because it is decorated, beautiful, and inspiring of honor. Zionist media destroyed people's minds and made them hate each other based on race, color, language and religion.
One word "Master" Its a pleasure watching such a beautiful weapon coming to life, i also liked how patiently you were working on the sword . I therefore nick name the sword Patience, that's the spirit behind the sword.

What a wonderful sword, I really loved this build and you certainly did a greek job forging it ma shaa Allah. Keep building more Saber swords, I would love to watch more videos like this one en shaa Allah 👏🏼
