Born of fire, destruction and chaos. Wind and water worn to beauty. Earth cooled under the weight and wait of eternity. Light shown as re-emergence from hidden places. The salted sweat of brow furrowed as the lessons are learned to bring the past to the present. Fire and form reborn with all, chaos, wind, water, beauty, earth, cooled, weight... an eternity personified the past renewed. Thank you for sharing your art, skills and patience.
Everyone father should smash their sons phones and video games and make them either watch these videos or work on similar projects in their spare time. This man is truly someone to be looked up to and respected for all his hard work and dedication. Truly an inspiration.
Beautiful work. Heirloom weaponry. Great to see a genuine artist at work, many thanks for taking the time to make and upload a video of this commission.
I've ran out of superlatives to describe the work done here, brilliant craftsmanship brilliant video, said it abefore, it just seems to get better, thanks for sharing.
I saw all the videos of this craftsman and each knife is a work of art
Honestly, I had to sub to you. Your work is incredible and the fact you don't fill the video with bullshit makes it even better. Thank you for making straight forward and amazing content.
I sometimes go into my shop and lock the door then connect my speakers to the internet and crank the sound while watching this so my wife thinks I'm actually working. Not sure what I'm going to do if she wants to see what I've built...
The only real issue I can see is one the weight of those two. Good Lord, it's a load there. The other is he didn't line the sheaths with leather to make them silent when drawing or replacing. However, all in all, a very nice set of knives, and one I wouldn't mind owning.
Overall good but what function from plate connecting in the blade...the same method used by the India community to make knife from discarded material such as saw blade they connect zink iron or something iron so blade does not bend when used and connect to the handle👍
all you do is just..........you are among those people created to live here to bring something concrete all guys like me will always be sh... compared to you best wishes from Belgium
If I may venture an answer. It's an ornamental piece. Then at 14:08 he shows that the spine has been annealed to prevent cracks. [I added this last part just so I didn't have to watch the video again for the timestamp]
I think it was Sam Houston who said that Jim Bowie gave him a Bowie knife and taught him how to use it. I heard this story as a teenager, it went some thing like this: the cutting edge is held upward and the spine of the blade is downward (look at the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) - Knife Fight Scene). The spine of some of the old Bowie knives was double reinforced, as in this case, to be used to parry the thrust of the opponent with a milder metal, then comes the attack with the knife with the true cutting edge upward and spine downward. Since the old Bowie knives had straight or coffin type handles and no D-guard (probably an American civil war innovation as seen in the photographs of that era), it was easy to hold the Bowie knife either cutting edge upward or spine of the blade upward especially if a straight quillon (hand guard) was affixed to the knife. Sam Houston is said to have given his Bowie knife to a teenager many years later and explained all of this to the teenager. Just a story I heard.

I know it's probably nothing, a bit complicated sometimes with the noises and only disturbing me but I feel like you should actually talk to us about what you're doing, the problems, the challenges, reflexes to have, special treatement of certain materials, etc. I'm interested to learn about these things despite that I don't forge anything !
If you haven't heard of him already, look into michaelcthulhu. He does majority fantasy type weapons but he talks during his video and he's a very, very charismatic guy. I like watching that channel for humor and his personality and this channel for the calm, no talking.

These knives have a raw elemental authority within them, a master stroke!
You do great work. I'm learning a lot from you here in America
Man, you´re truly a master! And you have some great equipment!
incredible, simply incredible
fucking spectacular craftsmanship. very nice work!!
Nice detail in the scabbard: the hole to let the blood drain out.
Lo mejor d lo mejor mi estimado.catamarca arg.
A little tip for removing rust and scale, soak it in vinegar overnight, then spray off with a hose.
Beautiful work, thank you!!
Masterfully done, Freerk!

Dynamic duo. Bowie knife and Arkansas Toothpick...
Brilliant metal genius.
Line the inside of the sheath with felt same color as your coat of arms or war banner colors it will tighten grip on knife and take that rattle out.
Belleza. .. Hermosas obras de arte.
genieten, die video's van jou. Groeten uit Zwolle.
These look great . Heavy but they remind my of Cervantes on Soul Caliber
Great looking knives and I’ve seen the style but not sure what the purpose of the sheet metal on the back is
Stunning mate.
*great video thank youshare*
Hola!

WOOOOWWW MASTER ... SPECTACULAR, I GOT NO GRACE KKKKK !!! PALMS.

Absolutely beautiful work, 100% beautiful!

Outstanding
I'd kill for a workshop like that lol
Beautiful knives btw
i spend allot of my income on my business... alway looking for good buys and given up on machines.
Excellent work
As usual, another stunning masterpiece!!
Very Good Job
But I don’t understand why you’re bending that metal and drilling the holes and adding it to the knife

There are people who love that little rib down the back. It's pretty much ornamental but then some people like Glocks.
Mike Berry same question

Sensacional , muito bom .
BRAVO SIR
No belt loop attachment? But still nice. Mine , I used red oak for the scabbard and blade was from a logging saw mill blade.

Beautiful I like👍👍
The sheath has zero retention. The knife can simply fall out of it...

How can buy your knife in online..?
Good jobb!👍👍👍👍
Those look beautiful! Groeten uit Enschede :)
This makes Forged in Fire look like preschool. (No offence J., Dave, Doug, Jason, Ben and Will)
I agree and I'm a big fan of that show
I don't underestand the purpose of the guards you put on the spine of the blades. Is it to add weight? Otherwise beautiful work.
Good Job, strong knife…..
Does anyone sell such piece of art ❤️
Then the wire speed up on the welder
This creator seemed to have gone MIA.
How much would one of thes cost because i would really like to add it to my collection
