I use the same corvette master on my 50 coupe with a booster and the pedal is soft, but sometimes bottoms out without goodbraking which is scary amongst modern cars with modern brakes. This swap might be what I need...
This swap did not change the height of the pedal, only the effort required to apply the brakes. Height of the pedal is usually determined by push rod length and rear brake shoe adjustment. Thanks for the comment.
@@ThrottleStopRacing my brake pedal height is good but it will go through full travel sometimes. I'm using a Walton Fab firewall pedal assembly. I guess the pushrod length will be the culprit as I've adjusted the rear shoes. I also suspect I may need a proportioning valve...
@@leonsinner7494 If the pedal is good sometimes and sinks to the floor other times that would eliminate the push rods and I would suspect the master as the problem.
STOP on Demand looks good now. Love Anne's face in the test run!
The face is priceless.
Judging by the reaction on your wife's face, I would agree you accomplished another successful job. Well done!
The response to the brake pedal is much better now,Yes the face is priceless.
Enjoyed the video, judging by your wife's face on testing, that car is a blast to drive! 😊
Your watching my old videos, thanks. One of the better old ones is when I made and installed tubs.
