Yeah yeah, I know, ironically, I'm making a video with this title but it's called character development people. But anyway I'm here to just share with you my thoughts on the game after doing some research and listening to everyone's opinions on the game even some popular RUclipsrs like Globku, and Senjuinjapan. I have a better opinion of the game now and a more reasonable approach to the conditions CC2 has set for us. Actually its Storm 1, Storm 2, genetations, storm 3, revolutions, then 4.
I understand why people jumped to hate on connections because they havent played the filler games(because cc2 wont remaster them) so the automatically think this is supposed to be storm 5. Even i thought it was another collection because of how the first trailer marketed it. But when i saw they added new boruto characters i was hyped cus i knew it was a filler game. My first storm game was generations and i love that game with all my heart(cc2 wont freaking remaster it) and i enjoyed the battle royale mode Revolutions had and the playable mini boss awakenings. So it was bizarre seeing people hating on connections because its not storm 5. This game is literally a teaser to hold us off until 5, be patient but nah people want connections to have *everything* and leave nothing for 5.
Honestly im glad people are starting to realize what connections actually is and not what they wanted it to be.
@@ShadiNxB Understandable. What I'm trying to get across is that connections is basically a teaser for storm 5, instead people think it is storm 5 which isn't the case. I'm personally wanting on it to be on sale.
Understandable and I agree but I won't buy game to due to lack of inv lobbies and tournaments and endless and I'm not going to support more of these features coming later on shtick.

I don’t get how people can misunderstand things this badly. CC2 literally has confirmed they are never doing storm 5. They’ve said it multiple times now. Connections is not the same as generations and revolution. Both of those 2 titles were created because CC2 had a contract to create 1 Naruto game a year after storm 1. So in between the main games they released those semi titles to give themselves more time on the real ones. Connections tho is not like that. It has the entire story and then more in it. If they were going to give us storm 5 they would have done that instead of connections. Where the anime is doesn’t matter either. Storm 4 went ahead of the anime. People need to stop thinking storm 5 will be a thing when the company themselves keeps reassuring everyone that it won’t.
I'm sure they're just waiting for more episodes to be added to the boruto series before they get to storm 5, and if they do I hope they can use more of the anime to make into the game, like the new kid teams in boruto even some of the flier characters would be cool to see and them epic on a boruto story mode in storm 5

I pre-order the deluxe 3 more days left i played all the storm games and naruto games in general so this was a day one for me.

These bridge series also test new mechanics. In storm full burst, we could go in and out of awakening at will, they took that out, but kept the substitution bar from generations

Storm 4 came out in 2016 and RTB came out in 2017. Considering we got this after all these years and not Storm 5 tells me there likely will not ever be a Storm 5. This feels more like a celebration of what was. Albeit a lackluster one.
The notion that this is being considered a segway game into Storm 5 after 7 years is insane to me. This game recieving long term support kinda says it all really.
If a new Boruto game does surface I feel it will be completely separate from the Storm series and be it's own thing.

@@AaronSilver1 I have been playing since Storm 1 also, and those games were released before the series was finalised with storm 4. The developers have even said they have no plans for a Storm 5 and that Storm 4 was the final game in the series. Then after 7 years they release Connections, to celebrate the annivesary. not Storm 5. I think that's pretty telling. I think the next game coming from them won't be Storm 5 but a completely new series for Boruto with a different battle system.

If I never had played any storm game/nor watch the anime...I'd buy legacy instead. I just cant justify buying this game FOR ANY PRICE...aside from a discount.
There are 5 dlc pack included 5 characters each total 25 new dlc characters

I cant wait to play this game in rank or just casual even if its a game before Storm 5 is out, I'm okai with the idea. I've been a Max level in ranked in most Naruto Storms games so far and I've been waiting for a new Naruto Storm for a while cause the last one was released like more than 5-6 years ago. I hope there's a leaderboard in the game just to know where we are in the rankings but that would just be a plus for the game and if there's not, I hope they gonna put a leaderboard in Storm 5. I knew Storm 5 was to come in like 1 year or 2 so I can still wait and play Storm Connections.

Good video, but Storm generations came in 2012 after storm 2 and revolution came in 2014 after storm 3, I got both games this year.
I hope they bring Nanashi/Hikari Uchiha to storm 5. I did a lot for the special story, it was beyond perfect ❤️
I hope that in it, we can do all the ninjutsu and secret techniques of all the characters in Naruto Storm 1 in addition to those they have in the others, that of Choji's butterfly bomb🏻 🏻🦋 (classic), Temari's Blade of the Wind (classic) that of Kankuro (classic) in Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution: ruclips.net/video/XjR4c21Bzbk/видео.html : 1:16, Shikamaru: 4:13, Itachi: 5:37 and Orochijmaru: 4:37.
I also hope that we can play with Sasori (Hiruko), use the secret techniques of all the characters even in Awakening mode like in Naruto Storm 1, and that there will be the story of Naruto: The Last as it was supposed to be in Naruto Storm 4 after finishing that of the fourth great ninja war.
And also that all the other villages will be called by their names like that of Konoha.

I just feel like you had wanted to buy the game but had to make an excuse for why. Connections looks good so they had me day one but even though that’s me, people don’t like the game because they think it’s a “repeat” but never had this much hate when generations and revolution came out. Everybody should’ve known that it would be like a recap game like generations and revolution as those games are like recaps for the past games while making it better like Connections as they are literally PUTTING EVERY GAME IN ONE annddd making a new story and people is just saying it’s dlc worthy. Even if it’s just a “repeat”, you’re still getting a bundle of all the old games which some fans would love AND IT’S IN HD which takes A LOT OF TIME and people would prolly still say that it’s “dlc worthy” so ima just say that people just hate to hate nowadays 😞

Even Generations and Revolutions had actual content in them though, Connections has nothing. Even if we get a UNS5 it doesn't make this game worth the purchase. This is an incomplete product that was rushed out. Connections can add all the characters they want, it doesn't fix anything.

Do you know if the pre-order characters will be available as DLC later, and if the simple controls are default and you'd have to switch it to the old controls every time or if you can just make the old controls the default?

@@Bloooo95 the idea of an Uchiha sealed during the waring states period, casting the infinite tysukuyomi on humanity because of how she'd been treated seemed interesting enough to me. Plus, the genjutsu making Naruto and Sasuke fight was cool to me as well.

I don't think you should feel bad though. Anime games are in the era wheee they don't have to make sequels instead they can just milk the same with DLC down the road for years just like with XV2 or DBFZ. So I would not expect a storm 5 to come out real soon, and $70 for new battle mechanics a new thing isn't inviting for me personally.
I get that as a storm fan you feel obligated to apologize but let's not pretend Namco Bandai or CC2 does countless amounts of lazy practices with their games for full price
Storm games have always being a major deal the problem with storm though is the netcode. The online netcode really holds this game back from being great.
