Cool bit of kit there! Been playing about with weights to stop under steering on my DT-03 but it has been more trial and error than science 😂 going to check this out. Great video as always 🙌🏻
I was looking at these the other day and I will be getting a set in the near future couldn't help notice the lil truck and all those boxes lined up against the wall haha
When I see this 😅 I wonder why no one made a commercial Dyno for RC to measure power to the wheels. Mmh now I need to search. I know there are people who build these thing but never saw any for sale. Edit found two for around 700$ my post for it was deleted.
HI TOM SORRY BUT ITS CAN'T CALL U ANYTHING ELES NOW SIR LOL. IM VERY IMPRESSED I WAS GETTING SO CLOSE TO GETTING MYSELF THE SET WITH WIRES. SO GLAD I WAITED THESE ARE SO MUCH BETTER. TRANSPORTABLE COMPACT GREAT DESIGN AND AFFORDABLE IN MY EYE'S. THANKS FOR INTRODUCING ME TO THESE. THEY ARE PERFECT SIR 🇬🇧💂✌️👍
@@TomleyRC RC is really catching onto (particularly) drag racing norms, corner balancing, draggies (for speed checking). And SkyRC are leading the charge in these scale accessories.
To improve further, put them on top of a flat glass. Use a gauge to meaure the height of each scales. and make sure they are of same height. Adjust by addiing tape at the bottom.
The purpose for these, on real cars, is to add weight to the lighter corners to even up the weight distribution. How would you go about that with an rc?
My grandfather had a firewood logging company for 70 years and every 3 years he would buy two new chevys. I remeber the last two box chevys he got before the next generation. Well one was identical to yours except it had white triangle holed wheels and a matching red and black two tone. Could you do a video on your low center truck there? I have to build one and don't know where to start to get those parts?
I like this a lot. I need it for my Xmaxx. When I do water crossings it tends to be back end heavy and flips backwards when I slow down. And this could be invaluable to solve issues like these.
I think you need to set the sensors onto a mat marked out in grid for repeatable measurements. Craft maps are pre made and available. Fore and Aft and center to center and XY axis. You buy a high tech tool, but it's relies on proper application. Good little RC Tool, Mate. Get some stick-on wheel weights to correct bias irregularities. Every gram counts. Is your RC build table level? So much engineering to think about. How bout cobbling up a few lasers for accurate steering and wheel alignments? RC, a matter of scale proportions.
@@TomleyRC oh no doubt. I'm still getting it. But it's a gift for my friend, he's the nerdy 🤓 techy one in our rc group that will enjoy this as a birthday gift.
Nice, I've been looking for a decent set of scales. I'm definitely going to put this on my "to check out" list.
Thanks for the straight up info.

Pretty cool, better sensitivity than I expected, useful for land, sea, and air. Future upgrade. Cheers!
Very useful tech, i had seen the older version, but this new Bluetooth set seems to kick butt..
Yes, nice and ‘modern’

I’ve got the wired version with the display module, lots of fun to play with!
Yes... But what's that red pickup truck with its bonnet up at the back of the bench.??
It looks pretty sweet.

Very cool gadgets indeed, lol kinda want a set just to go with my analyser..

Nice setup tool might have to invest in some I've used them on a real car it makes a big difference. Big fan of your channel 👍
Nice bit of gizmo. Was waiting for the comment about weighing "other stuff" 😂

Nice scale. What RC is the red/white truck in the background? That one looks awesome. Do you have a model name?
Does Jezza get royalties every time you say "On that bombshell...."? Perhaps you could also include; This is the greatest RC car......in the world.
What?!? A corner weight system that is really affordable? I'm interested.
Good information 👍 thanks for sharing
Hey Tomley, what happened to the Yokomo follow up video? Showing the completion, body and it in action?
It’s coming dude… got to get the body fitted and build my track
@@TomleyRC awesome! I’m excited to see it! Thanks for the update!
Now that is one nifty gadget.
Is that a CR12 ? In the background? I have been trying to find out about those, it looks really nice whatever it is.
Where did you get your cool Clock? Thx
They look perfect for my crawlers. Where did you get them for £70?
Time in background gives better idea of how recently you recorded.
Yes, this was a quick one I made last night 😎👌
Very hi tech wow 🦶🙏

Tomley where did you get this body!!
Is this in your unit?
very interesting.
Wish i'd have had them in the 90's,could've weighed 4 bags at once lol
Only joking by the way😉
Nice
I clicked on your link, only shows the wired version... must be sold out already. Great video.

Where tf did you get them from? Out of stock everywhere lol :)
I think I am first?! 😅
Yes you are 😎🤘
Strange on every car you tried was light on the front right.
Yeah… maybe just coincidence
I’ve lost my interest in no prep, but it has many other RC racing uses.
