Spent my summer holidays there this year - beautiful country! Wish I could have found some of these rations - looks like a bit of everybody else's ration packs in there. By the way, nice review, I always switch on as soon as you download now - a yorkshire Greek version of Steve1984! Let's put that out on a tray - by eck that's nice! I've just thought, I haven't seen anyone else review a Slovenian ration - you could be the first!
I’d love to go there, it looks beautiful. Yes I agree it’s got a bit of everything. 😁👍🏼 Thanks very much. Yorkshire Steve 😂👍🏼👍🏼 No I haven’t seen this ration reviewed yet. 🥇 It’s always tricky, as I often want to get ration reviews out quickly, but it’s also too expensive to do more than a couple a month. Anyway, lots of interesting ones on the way 😊👍🏼
I posted 7 links to some other reviews but yt didn't allow that. There are others though, just search Slovenian ration pack. The newest is from 4 months ago, some are from a few years ago.
Looked really good! Wasn't sure about the fish pate but when you read the ingredients it sounded pretty good. Definitely needs a couple more drinks. Coffee did look weird. Maybe the creamer was the culprit?Excellent review!
I think the snacks are used in-between meals and the snacks drink would probably fit in well with one of the other meals. The vitergin tablets could actually make for a makeshift strawberry drink in a pinch as long as you nail the number of tablets per glass of water...
Thanks very much Simon 😊🙏🏼 Yes it would definitely keep them going for a while 😁 It really was tasty. Cheers mate. Have a great weekend! All the best 😊👍🏼🙏🏼☀️
😂👍🏼 Yes there was so much. If I ate that in a single day I’d be in a food coma 🤪 Thanks very much mate. A pack of the vitergin tablets are only €1.05. Not bad really. Have a great weekend mate 😊👍🏼☀️🌳
What distinguishes granola from ordinary muesli is the method of preparation. Muesli is not cooked, while granola is roasted. I have that Slovenian package, Menu D, on the shelf. I'll have to take a look what's inside.
That’s interesting, thanks. I like both, but they have too much sugar to eat everyday. Yes have a look. I wonder what the differences are to the type B. Have a great weekend 😊👍🏼
A lot of rations do this these days, probably for financial/logistical reasons. However, several smaller items aren’t shop bought and might be more difficult to source for you or I. I like to buy these kind of rations, as I’m interested to see how they differ between countries. Even if some items are commercially available, it’s still interesting to see everything in the ration. Have a great evening 😊👍🏼
Only 1 coffee (which I tried during the snacks section) and 1 iced tea mix ☹️ No black tea. That was one of the downsides to this ration… not enough drinks! Have a great weekend my friend 😊👍🏼
@@GreeklishOutdoors Those and the "summit to eat" freeze dried meals, their chicken curry is white, very reflective of how they forgot to season the food. :D If i were to give them anything, it's that they are cheaper than the competition, but then again, for the above reason most likely. Thanks for the great content brother!
Yes they definitely forgot to season the food. I agree their food is cheaper as definitely more basic than the competition. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative (but have your own seasoning) they would probably be ok. Thanks mate. All the best 😊👍🏼☀️
🇸🇮🇸🇮🇸🇮💪💪💪 thank you for the himna! respect!

you have my subscribe sir 🫡
Thanks very much my friend 😊👍🏼

Yes it was a good one. I agree, probably the creamer. I’ve had one in a UK ration go off too. Thanks very much my friend. Have a great day 😊👍🏼☀️

Yes thats true. I showed it as a separate section for ease of filming. That’s interesting, I will have to try the vitergin as a drink. Thanks 😊👍🏼
테마좋고 멋집니다❤
Thank you 🙏🏼😊☀️
Great review Jono definitely feed a whole section for the day with this one
The rice dish looks really good though mate 👍🤠
Best regards Simon

I wish I had that pack in 1998 ;)
Very different from the version you had? This one was very good. 😊👍🏼
That's a good amount of food. No time to fight, there's food to be eaten 😂 I want to see if I can get some of those Vitergin tablets. Good review.

@@GreeklishOutdoors Yeah it's finding them in the UK at a reasonable price.
@@GreeklishOutdoors Not available in the UK it seems. Oh well.
Oh that’s a pain. Unfortunately a lot of places that sell them here won’t ship internationally ☹️
@@Shadow_Wraith Hi. I am from Slovenia! I can sent them to you :-) I am sure you wouldnt say no to receive a little gift.
I have one, but have not opened it. Great to see, awesome review bro!
Thanks very much my friend. It’s a cool ration. I hope you enjoy yours. All the best mate 😊👍🏼☀️
Hey Viper!! 🤝
the gum is the best I ever had from this pack tho 😆
oh forgot about the vitamin sugars...they're good also
Yes they are both very good 👍🏼😊😊

If the main dishes are from the store, then there is no point in buying!

Coffee, tee?!?!?

You’re so cute, I’ve just subscribed to your channel.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼😊
BEER!
Food! 🤪
Honey is a bad idea in the field as it is so sticky. No wonder so many wipes.
Yes good point. If that leaked in the bag, it would ruin your day.
Jam is sticky and common in ration packs, nothing wrong with honey, it makes a nice change I think.
Cheese with Jalapeno is better.@@Shadow_Wraith
Its healty, tastes good and you can use it with muesli. Honey is also a traditional Slovenian food and the package is pretty good.
It’s very tasty. I like the little lids that come with it. It’s nice that you can save some for a later time 😊👍🏼 🇸🇮
Adventure foods suck a*s imo, tried a bunch of them on my treks and never liked any of them.
Definitely one of the more basic freeze dried/camping meals you can get. 😊👍🏼
