    Thank you so much! I got a pixie cut and found out I have an annoying cowlick in the back of my head! Love this styling hack with a comb.

    When I first saw this video my hair was a lot longer and I decided not to try your suggestions in the video. My new haircut is similar to the models in the video and now I really appreciate your techniques as I have about four of those growth patterns/cowlick’s. Thank you...

    I chopped my hair to a Mia Farrow’s style yesterday I get now what my hairdresser did and I’m copying your tech. The wet is the « thing » and the comb the « tool » THANK GOODNESS THANKS TO YOU ❤🎉

    AWESOME! No, really. I just got very brave with a pixie without a clue on how to style it. Just because I saw a picture of Anne Hathaway with her pixie and felt in love. I been searching all over the web for a tutorial on how to properly style a pixie and all that keep popping out were pomades and messy pixies and no! that's not what I wanted! I want my pixie to look flat, polished, soft and shiny, just like Anne's one, or even Emma Watson. And this is the tutorial for it! I even loved the products recommendations, for moisture, shine and softness! Perfect, THANK YOU!

      Same! I saw Anne Hathaway and said "I want that too!" And I just discovered by this guy, that I have crazy strong growth patterns. It's wavy, poofy, and crazy all around. I have a poofy cap right now LOL :D

    Thank you so much! The comb is smart for short hair, all the round brushes were too big and the comb gives me that needed control.

    LOVE this! I just recently cut my hair short and I have the WORST cowlicks in the nape of my neck. I'm a stylist so its embarrassing when I get a compliment on my cut and then the client sees the back of my head and thinks...hmm what went wrong there? I will try the comb technique today!

      I dried it just as this man said too and I can't see the cow lick now 🤣

    Very useful video, as I happen to have hair texture similar to what hers is described, and my cut is also fairly similar. I'm still perfecting and adapting the blowdry shown to my actual hair, however, it's looking promising. I would have liked the video to be longer. For example, was some wax/paste put in the back textured area of her hair, or just generally were any other products used? And were the two products at the start heat protectants? I have been practicing the technique with products I happen to have at hand, rather than rushing out and buying the recommended products. Eventually I probably will though if they are still available, and accessible in Australia.

    Love her hair! It seems that her hair is fairly thin. My hair is thick and coarse, with many cowlicks. Recommendations?

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  6 лет назад +2

      Hey Cindy, this is the best way to blow dry thicker coarse hair too when it comes to the fringe area. You may need to also use a small round brush at the end to polish the ends of your hair if it tends to be more frizzy.

    @samvillahair or anyone who is a stylist Help! I have wavy and frizzy hair with a strong cowlick on my right side back crown. I have a angled hair cut (shorter from right ear tapering to left side)with a shaved undercut
    I've tried combing it in the opposite direction but I think it's a double crown?? pls help!
    I can send a pic. I tried posting wouldn't let me

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  6 лет назад +2

      Hey Heather. You can use a similar technique to what is shown in the video. Start with very wet hair and use the comb to put lots of tension on the hair as you work it back and forth. The more directions you move the hair as it is drying, the better!

    Would you ever consider making a video of me or not to help my pixie platinum cut at age 66 to cure my crown whorl cowlick? I need help and do not have the money to try different products, my hair is thin, love the cut, but do not want any spike in the back or products that look like i could actually break off a piece of my hair. I have never felt pretty, but love the front, but the back ugh!!! I want the back to look windblown but not feel like I have a helmet on my head. Would you consider helping a. Love Bob’s video’s as he is so down to earth. Here is a pic from the front.

    Well I seen some great pixie short haircuts I really like the one Halle Berry it was really cool she said she had to shave her head and then she had a holly berry cut which was cool and it looks really nice on her I have been like Halle Berry I like the cut but I'm a bigger person than Halle Berry I like my bangs longer Halle Berry has a little bit of hair but I also have thin hair in my older nage a little bit of baldness going on I can deal with it I also like the height and sore like a little Gotham Riddler I guess you would say or I like it so too spiky so as in color I use a cocoa color chocolate and I'm looking for a red to put on top I found the one I want either I order it is by matrix it's a beautiful shiny red and I know how to trim it and do it the way I want it I'm looking to get that color I do like to style of Halle Berry's hair Danny staying over at the top of a little bit longer so I can spike it for the point on the sides and short of me back or should I say little Sideburn point short on the sides and the back I think it would be cool I seen a little pictures that you like in the one girl had blonde hair that was really cute I think my avocado color would not match with Squad makes me look pale but I love this site because it shows you every which way to do your hair tell me that the makeup looks are very cool I give it a thumbs up brothers and makeup and hair cuts and colors you can do anything so that's why I give it a thumbs up I just love it thank you very much⭐🌼😀😛🌺🌞💝☕

    Sam Villa please share how to diffuse short curly hair that's in a tapered cut with strong growth patternst!!..not too happy about the styler saying 'challenging' because the models hair was wavy..and her hair wasn't even that wavy...

    Bruh. 👉You really think my hair reacts this way when I blow dry. My hair right away sticks up straight all over the place when i add heat. I look like a Chinese boy 🤣 I'll try it though, a brush doesn't work, because my hair has too much volume, making it look crazy.
