    This has helped me a whole lot. When watching these videos, it is often mistaken that all this is taught in beauty school, when sometimes it's NOT.

    I love this video. It is how I blow dry my hair. It's easy for me to keep the curl because I have naturally curly hair. I'm 58 years old, and have only found 1 hairdresser who was able to do a proper body blow dry for me (I had her for 6 years and then moved). No one has ever done it the way I want before this or since. It's ALWAYS flat on top when I leave. The only reason I bother having them blow dry it is because it comes with the cut. I don't even need the Guts10, and I still leave with it flat on top.

    Everytime i use those brushes i seem to get the hair from the bottom section stuck in it. On a training head i'm okay with it but on a person it seems different. Is there anyway i can avoid this happening. I'm a beginner in my course and a curly blow dry is the only thing i'm struggling with when doing a blow dry! I feel silly keep asking my teacher

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  5 лет назад +3

      Don't feel silly Sian... keep asking questions! Thats exactly what your teachers are there for. Usually if the brush is getting tangled at the base, it's because you are turning the brush too far when you place it into the hair. Try placing the brush in and only turning it a tiny bit just to get the hair into the bristles. This is true especially when the hair is wet. After it gets a little more dry, you can turn the brush in more for more curvature. Let us know if that helps!

      Stephanie Sarabia I spray hairspray in my Hands, rub it together before it dries I apply it to the hair in those areas. I do this on the top bc I don’t want to put serum near the root.

    Great video. Im wondering why not just use velcro rollers ??? instead of rolling it up and pinning it.

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  6 лет назад +1

      Velcro rollers give a little different feeling... they leave the hair a bit fluffier (which can be good with certain hair textures). By using a round brush and blow dryer, you will create a smoother/ more polished finish. Both are great! Just different results.

    • @lindyhawthorne2164
      @lindyhawthorne2164 6 лет назад

      thanks for reply. I was meaning to use the rollers after using the round brush, where you roll the hair up and attach it to the scalp to cool etc.

    For customers what setting on the dryer? Low heat and speed or what?

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  6 лет назад

      It can depend on hair texture a bit... in most cases, we would recommend high heat and high speed to be efficient. But if the hair is more delicate of fine, a medium heat might be more gentle (or if the dryer gets excessively hot.)
