The thing I wish more modded teams would do is make more herbivores!! Playing path of titans scrolling through the dinosaurs it seems for every herbivore there’s 3 carnivores there’s not many herbivores which sucks.
I've said it once and I'll say it again - Path of Titans can really be whatever kind of animal survival game you want it to be. I'm amazed with the amount of mods bringing new creatures into the game and the support from the community and most importantly the developers those mods have. It'd be really amazing to see more modded things in the game such as game mechanics and I think that would only add onto the lasting power Path of Titans has. If you could make modded mechanics like temperature, droughts, seasons, etc. I think it could really help those realism servers feel more realistic and give more of a challenge to the game which is important especially in realism since those kinds of servers seem to be the most popular ones.
The compi and acro look so much better then the featherless/shinkwrapped abominations from the divine beasts team and actually fit the games style and are much more accurate than their wacky divine beasts counterparts Btw the jfd ones are absolute gold and so is the citipati
Saw this in my recommended and my jaw fucking dropped when I saw the Absentia Additions Acro. Being in that gaming community for a while, it's so jarring to see it where it is now lol. We ball.
I love a lot of these mods. I'm a little worried though, simply because there are so many mods potentially coming. When youre favorite servers dont like your favorite mods it really might suck. Even just finding a server that has at least a few of the mods you like instead of just 1 or 2. Variety is great but too much makes choices hard.
Yea I saw a lot of the various mod teams are adding the same creatures and like you say variety is always a good thing but can also be detrimental. Like currently there's 4 Acros that I know of lol. There's an Acro mod already in the game and then 3 other teams working on Acros. Going to be hard for servers to choose what to add. I definitely don't mind having more options though haha.

Aerostareons animations are so far in great working progress! An animator posted a short clip of its eating animation. It kind of slams its claws in and a few 0. Something seconds later it launches a bite into the corpse. Its most likely to be released first, and I say that because it’s animations are doing great and it’s model and texture (and default skin) are all done now. After that it should be open to testing
Aside from Trike, I think I’m with the majority in being most hyped for Smilodon! It definitely opens up way more modded doors, such as my favourite cenazoic creature, Enteledont 👀
That's true, however that shouldn't mean it couldn't have stolen other dinos' eggs? 🤔 Either way I just want a dino that is a dedicated egg/hatchling stealer 😭 It would be so fun. Maybe Microraptor can be an egg stealer? Might be too small though.

All the mods look amazing! But, in my opinion, I’d rather see new species be developed rather than the multiple duplication of the same dinos we already have. Like, why do we need so many versions of Acro and Rex, right?
Knowing that mod numbers can cause lag on servers, makes me a little sad knowing you can't feasibly have all these mods on a server at once.. at least for now. I'm def excited for the ignis mods, but hope to find a server with rules I like for such mods. As for realistic mods.. that turtle guy and the no-neck guy looks pretty different and fun.
Here's hoping they make a Saurophaganax the tyrannosaurus sized allosaurid With so many different mods of the same Dino's really need a Mapusaurus into the game a smaller giganotasaurus but possibly larger than carcharodontosaurus and acrocanthosaurus
the JFD team need to create their own game, those models and the animations that go alongside them are too good to just be mods, if they went down the route that the isle should've gone down aka just a pure dino survival experience without any humans, monsters, genetic freaks of nature like ths hypos etc they'd absolutely dominate

I know from what I heard there was a someone making a mammoth 🦣 mod but I guess the person that was making the mod apparently decided to focus on other things so the the mammoth isn’t coming out anymore
Spino model definitely needs a rework. I hope they make the head a little bulkier. Plus I'm not a fan of the spinosaurus movement or model. Looks abit too stiff to me. I also hope they add the dunkleostaus as ai in the ocean and a megalodon as a playerable.
It sucks how the actual creators can’t have these animals in the original pvp. There more love in community servers then the actual GAME… to me it’s annoying but hey can’t complain about the new Dino’s
They should bring a DLC one day called "Path of Titans: Ice Age" or something like that and then let us play as any creature of the idk pliocene or early holocene or even earlier xD you know? And overall! I would really love playing as a smilodon and then also hunt animals that are in my time (Mammoths for example)! No game like that exists yet soooo they should really think about it! Their game would be truely unique then! I also wanna play as a Dire wolf or Dire bear then ;w;❤❤

Maybe one day they will take that idea :D I know game developing is hard and a real time effort but really, in the far future, would absolutely love to see it! Or if not them then someone else who loves these types of games and creates their own too xD

Kinda annoyed by how many mods there are, it seems like the mods are just one-upping the developers work, I'm glad there is diversity, it's just that most mods are dogshit lol, my favorite mods are definitely the jfd ones, they are accurate to the animals, and don't seem over the top, primordial tyrants is like this, but less accurate and usually more fantasy which is annoying, as for the other mods, they look fine, not super stoked though because most servers I play are going to be flooded to the point finding a base game dinos will be like seeing a unicorn
I pray they make updated Utahraptor actually realistic and not follow the stupid Jurassic park model like they have right now it’s o k but I want realism I also love how there replacing Dino’s in The isle and Beasts of Bermuda 😂😂😂 AND the dragon mods will crush day of dragons too
