"Forgotten Bloodlines: Agate" will be a photorealistic animated documentary focusing on prehistoric creatures 20 million years ago, narrated by the wonderful Nigel Marven. It takes place in the early Miocene of the Agate Fossil Beds, one of the richest collections of fossil creatures from the era, including strange horse-like animals with claws, carnivorous hippo ancestors, and rhinos the size of a dog. Over the course of three 15 minute episodes, you will be taken back to a place forgotten to time.
For a project this unique, mainstream studios may not be able to provide what we need, which is why we need your help!! Donate to our kickstarter campaign, anything helps. Rewards include an art book, 3D printed figures, early soundtrack access and more. If you want to see this project come to fruition! The film will be split into thirds in order to streamline the funding process, as raising money for an entire film at once is a daunting task.

Thanks for watching and supporting our project! I'm glad everyone is enjoying what they see. Make sure to donate to www.kickstarter.com/projects/maxbellomio/forgotten-bloodlines-agate if you want to help make this a reality. If you have any specific questions regarding the campaign, you can message me on Kickstarter and I'll get back as soon as possible.
I've gotten a lot of questions about where and when it will release. The answer is we don't know, it hasn’t been decided yet. We want it to release on a streaming service such as Netflix or Curiosity Stream where it can get better press, but because it's an indie project it’s very possible we will post to youtube.
Regardless, all Kickstarter backers will have free early access to the final documentary, so don't worry about being able to see it. We will make sure it gets as wide a release as possible and when we do announce it, we'll be very clear about where and when!

As of when I am writing this comment, the kickstarter has been open for twelve days and half way mark has yet to be reached. We can’t expect that pace to stay the same for the rest of the funding period now that the initial burst of attention has died down. I am so exited! I can't believe you got Nigel Marven, this is so amazing. BTW, if you are trying a streaming service, Apple TV might want it as it would fit in nicely with Prehistoric Planet.

If you want it in as good a quality as it possibly can be, it needs as much time as is needed for it to be a masterpiece. In other words, let him cook

I'm not typically a fan of the Cenozoic (because I'm not typically a fan of most mammals) but this is too interesting to ignore

Finally a documentary about ancient mammals and not dinosaurs. I prefer ancient mammals over dinosaurs mostly because I've been over exposed to dinosaurs as kid so this is a nice change from your usual Walking With Dinosaurs clone.
