Hearing how people with beefy pc's are struggling with performance has scared me away from buying. Hopefully that gets resolved so us peasants with our older rigs can play freely
This was me. I have a Tuf laptop but only 16 GB of RAM. Turns out I need 32 to get good frame rates.
Good choice dude I have a 3080 12 700 KF 64gb ram and without any DLSS or FSR the game gets barely 30th FPS with FSR. The game looks horrible but can fluctuate anywhere from 80 to 140 but the game looks absolutely awful at that point definitely smart. Waiting I bought $100 edition I don’t feel burned. I feel like I gave them money to make a great project because it will be once it’s done but I would definitely.wait

@@greymangaming1877 I have 16gb of ram adn I get 40-60 fps, its not the best but its enought.
Started out rough for me but after tweaking settings it is running really well for me now. 3080 ftw ultra here and on 4k I am getting a solid 100-140 fps. Large activity areas I dip to 90 but still not too bad for early access. Have had 2 crashes since 9 am when I started playing and it's 4pm est here now.
I believe FSR is causing crashes. Running on high with DLSS, getting 150 frames.

@@mattsssv2004 I ended up refunding the game for now due to a) losing a bunch of gear due to a network disconnect and b) due to the all of the server issues. This game is way too early access for me, apparently.
I am going to wait a bit before I try this game for myself, but this was a good informative video and the game looks good.

Looks like a great game glad PVE wasn't 250. I actually might pick it up once they optimize it and servers aren't too loaded. Its kinda like tarkov inventory with arma 3/dayz feel to it, sick.
Honestly it didn't feel anything like any of those games in my 3 hours
I need this in my life.
The heli part was the hardest for me but some cool dude helped me in game.

FSR gives you more fps because it automatically enables Frame Gen from what I noticed, but that also adds input lag because fake frames are being introduced.
I also noticed that Native AA (under FidelityFX Super Resolution) is automatically set when you enable FSR meaning you only get Frame Gen benefit, but there is no upscaling happening and only high quality anti-aliasing with sharpening is applied.
I think I would rather play with XESS on Quality and have smaller fps improvement ( it's much better right now than FSR, but that can change when FSR 3.1 will be implemented hopefully soon) , than deal with input lag from Frame Gen.
I understand its incomplete because its in early access, but GOD DAMN I hope they optimize the game. My pc was about ready to go on a mission to mars when playing this game.

Make sure to update everything and I mean everything. Even if beefy computers can run the game properly, it still causes my computer to just crap out and restart itself (7800x3d and 4080). I have updated my GPU drivers, AMD Chipset drivers, even flashed an updated BIOS, tried disabling PBO/EXPO, closing every other piece of software, steam overlay, played around with the in game settings and hopefully it's the frame generation that is causing the issues because I am running out of options.
Other than that, it's a great game and I hope more people get it, just don't expect a smooth experience in the beginning.
Wonder if you can combine CTRL + mouse button 4 or 5 to prone. *one of the side buttons on the mouse*
I always use them for some of the most used actions like melee or switch fire modes. Scroll wheel button could also be a nice prone key button.
I'm gonna say it flat out, use fsr frame Gen. Will work well for a ton of people.
Have they improved the hit registry on the enemy AI? I've seen videos of very inconsistent hit registry. Some AI tank a few rounds, some drop like a bag of spuds 🇦🇺

I have an RTX 3060 w/ i7-11800H Processor and I had textures that wouldn't load, frame drop, stuttering at times, freezes, crashes and other issues I cant name off the bat. The weird thing is, when I look at the ground I go from 20-40 fps to 60-70+ FPS.
Laptop 3060 is nowhere near powerful as desktop 3060

well, Gray zone warfare didn't work out so much for me, it literally killed all my frames even on lowest settings and having FSR on and then started crashing. i guess Arena Breakout Infinite, SPTarkov or Incursion Red River.
if you have an Nvidia GPU, use DLSS. AMD, use FSR

From reading steam comments, sounds like there a lot of intentional team killing happening. Imma wait for a minute on this one, though it looks like something I could heavily invested in.
played a good 5 hour session without running into anyone intentionally team killing, but accident definitely do and did happen…

I have an issue that the textures from soldiers or some props from the terrain wont load and it looks blury but still have 70-90fps :/

My GTX 4090, I9 4900KS and 64 GB of DDR5 run DLSS at 144 no problem, so if you have the rig for it no need to switch from DLSS.
While i understand that the low fps are annoying and they can get more fps out of the game, you cant expect to run a completely new graphically insane game on high fps. Especially not with 4+ year old graphic cards. It will get better, they have a lot of work to do but i trust in them that they will actually do the work unlike some other devs from other games
What are your specs? (People keep saying this game has poor optimization) so I want to know what pc build you have before playing

It does suck for now. I'm running a 4090 and 13600k and I'm getting 30-70 fps unstable.
@@NOLA_playmaker Funny, I have the same cpu but a 2080 ti. I was able to push many more frames by turning down shadow quality and reflection quality to low. The quality isn't even noticably different and you gain around 20-30 frames
wish they would add a single player mode so its not just reforger +tarkov

server disconnected twice now whilst on the field, also heavy stutters and maintains (edit: Maintains is a generous way to put it) only about 100 - 120 fps with frame gen on a 4070. yikes

The standard edition of course. But at the moment, I recommend holding off unless you just want to support them financially. Game should definitely not have been released yet

Love how alot of people keep saying it runs great! Just use fsr! Like bruh it should run good without upscaling, too many devs relying on upscaling to do the optimisation for them
Not gonna brag about my system but I get a nice locked 120FPS 4k Epic settings but with some bad long stutter and server banding now and then. That aside and 2 hours in I can tell you one thing "The Day before" was way more interesting than this so far. It was way more fun. That's my first impression. have a brew and play another boring 2 hours and hopefully not get stuck in the unfinished map topography again :/

they REALLY need to beef up the absolutely FLAT ambience / atmosphere. guns sound like airsoft. doesn't really make you feel like you're in a jungle.
i agree not really an ambiance sounds and i feel like i heard the same audio from a fly buzzing in my ear wayyy too often

in all seriousness I have shy'd away from Tarkov forever due to the toxic playerbase and the devs not caring about players. GZW seems very good. My PC (i7-13700 and 4070) has no problem with the game, yes there are frame drops but it is still early access

First thing you need to know is it runs like shit they released it because of Tarky it definitely needed more time. It’s going to be a great game when it’s done, but they should not have done this.
The performance is not bad people just follow graphics settings from other RUclipsrs.
its very cpu heavy. Got a 3090 and all low with dlss performance on it stutters a ton, but rests around 40 fps.
i don’t think i could do any setting adjustments to make it not play really bad on my peasant build, from what I’ve been seeing with the game so far at least

Holy shit team killing is bad, not only that killing you then taking your loot, a few people were cool and didn't but yeah those people exist. They desperately need some type of something once you ads.
I have a 13600, RT 7800 XT and getting 50-70 FPS with 90% GPU and between 40-90% CPU load. I can consistently get 100+ FPS on Tarkov with this rig.

This is the reason why the devs didn't want the general public to test play this game with the content creators. Get the content creators to hype the shit out of the game with their beefy rigs so that us peons can buy this unoptimized at launch 🤦🏽♂️

Tactical youtubers overhyping doesnt help.
To be fair a lot of the negative reviews have very little playtime.. The game has been review bombed, seems to be caught up in the Tarkov drama despite being unrelated to Tarkov.. I spent a long time looking at the reviews trying to actually work out what the 'proper' review stance is - as the 'negative/positive' status can't be trusted currently.. Seems to be mixed at best.
@@tvlkn9130 it doesnt take much play time to notice the optimization is bad, and the positive reviews are people turning a blind eye because its a "tarkov alternative" and its not "paying 250" all that bs, sounds like bias, this games full of bugs too and hyped up by tactical youtubers.
