When I first watched this, I noticed that Cartman’s username in the chat room was “BigBoned.” Obviously we know he’s referring to his weight, but I’m pretty sure those men were thinking of something else. 😓
😅😓 So true. This episode was wrong on so many levels. Ahhh, South Park.
@@dash.reacts your realization of who John Denver was was hilarious 😂
Hahaha, oh yeah
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You know NAMBLA Is a real organization that is really fighting for the right for grown men to have sex with boys right?
FYI: NAMBLA was a real organization. This isn't something South Park made up-it was an actual thing.
Unfortunately, I do not resemble Marlon Brando in any way, so I am ineligible to join.
@@nowthatsjustducky There is still another NAMBLA to go to.
Nambla is still around unfortunately
The pedo or the marlon brando thing?
Yeaaaaa I was scared when I was 15 and found out this was real
It’s funny how well this aged. It’s like nothing has changed but gotten worse and this episode still manages to nail it.
Yup. The Bible says that the end times will be filled with people calling evil good and calling good evil. I think the fact that stuff like this is even a thing is a sign of those times approaching.
@@NovusIgnis The Bible says many wierd things and every generation people thinks that the worst times of humankind are approaching...
@@NovusIgnis You know whats funny....my best friends mom sais the same and all ppl in their religion is good.....yet she didn't realize my friend 29 fcked her old collague who is part of that religion.....and she is 40+...lmao...and the fun fact is she approaching my friend....these episodes are good, because the lgbt community is doing the same shix...like these ppl they are just accepted and now we have to watch terrible movies, because they forced it on Holywood....
@@elleanorelumiere1713 I m pretty sure ppl thought the end is near in the medievel era
It’s pretty ironic people thought the world may have been ending in the Middle Ages which was the best period in human history, now if we look at the current state of affairs: the world may be ending or it may last for a few more centuries as only God knows the time it ends…but either way things have been getting consistently worse for about 200 years now and if the trend shows anything it is that things will keep getting worse no matter if mankind is to last 500 more years or 20 more, either way things will get worse and worse until God decides to step in and tell the archangels to blow the horns and announce the end…we can just do our best till then.
You're doing the "react" genre the right way man. Showing as much as you can without breaking continuity of the show, not stopping to often to comment, and being meaningfully informed and intellegent when you do comment.
You should try reactions to music genre's that you aren't into or familiar with.
agreed! the balance is spot on 👌
Correct
agreed, i absolutely hate the reaction videos where they just stop the video every 5 seconds
Omg I know some good music for that that would be awesome
Sadly I disagree - dont get me wrong, I love dudes reactions but he cuts alot of stuff out. its been getting on my nerves as I binge his videos lol. But, outside of too much stuff being cut, i been enjoying the rabbit hole that is his SP reactions for the last couple days lol
“Screw you guys, I’m going home” is still such an iconic line
"'You guys really do look like Marlon Brando.'
'Thank you.'"
That bit gets me everytime
“Good thing you guys came. This little boy was trying to have his way with me” 🤣
It’s Cartman…he would of…lol
When I first watched the episode, I didn't even know that NAMbLA was a real life organization. The concept and name seemed ridiculous enough that I just assumed it was satire. I think that says a lot more about our world than it does about South Park's world.
Satire has come to real life
I thought the same thing until I looked it up. That is just sickening.
World? More like America you americans are sick in the head.
I knew it was real after watching it on the news. Although I was a teen when this episode was originally on.
The reaction to the John Denver experience. Priceless. 😆 🤣 😂
That and "Black Marlon Brando" are my two favorite moments of the episode. I know they're coming and I burst out laughing anyway.
funny thing is, Kenny always had a little sister and the creators seemed to forget about her in this episode lol. plus an older brother
I think she simply didn't exist back then. Correct me if I'm wrong but until "Best Friends Forever", I think it was just Kenny and Kevin in the house. (Stuart even says in "Chickenlover" that the pair has two kids) Maybe she's adopted or something. Anyway, it's funny seeing Kenny be so violent and murderous towards his future younger sibiling taking into consideration how protective and caring he would turn out to be towards Karen in later seasons.
Yeah? What episodes could we see her in before this one?
@@metalhead522None, I think. I read on TV Tropes that she was supposed to appear in "Starvin Marvin" but got scrapped.
@@daynial2240 Kevin has to be the most neglected main character direct family in the series. He's never had a spotlight episode. Even Shelly's had a couple.
@@kalkuttadrop6371 Indeed. We didn't even get to take a selfie with him in The Fractured but Whole. (And even DogPoo got that privilege) At least he shows up as a card on Phone Destroyer.
I first heard about NAMBLA in the 90s. A talk radio host named Ken Hamblin was on a crusade against them. Unfortunately, these people are still active and after children. Any man attempting to have sex with children needs to be be given a short drop and a sudden stop.
I heard it from Jim cornette
In an age where people don't like going outside or consuming physical media because the Internet and streaming are things that exist, you'd *think* that p€d0ph!£€$ would do the same, and just Google pictures of children (preferably clothed). They're the kind of people who *should* stay inside and not interact with other human beings.
P will be the next letter in the alphabet mafia's LGBTQWTF. just watch
The predator at the end really tried to pull a Kyle "I've learned some today" I cut him off like no you haven't dude you're going to under the prison forever😂😂
And the look Stam and Kyle give each other when he says it..priceless😅
Hahaha 🤣
I thought one reference might’ve slipped past you with that John Denver joke but you caught it still. You always catch the references 😂😂
Sometimes it takes a second to sink in, but once it hit me…oh my goodness 😮 🙃
I never caught that reference when I saw this episode. I actually thought John Denver was still alive.
@Reef Convy I never caught it myself then. Didn't even know who he was until I looked him up now. But yeah that's pretty on par with South Park 😅 lol.
I was more shocked when Steve Irwin came up on the show, but again... it's South Park 😅.
Yeah, I'm all for their "you can joke about anything" but, I'm not saying you can't do it, but some things are in bad taste. And John Denver was awesome.
@@mage1439 yeah I didn't get the reference until I had to look it up. I thought he was like some random terrible a-hole of a human being since south park would mostly mock celebrities or well known people who are huge POS
Wait...WHAT?! You were ok with the touching little boys and Kenny trying to kill and unborn baby but the John Denver ride was "going too far"? I worry about you, Dash! 🤣🤣
Oh dear God...extremely well-played. Ouch! LOL
I mean, they are poking fun and ridiculing NAMBLA and Kenny is a child with extreme jealousy of his unborn brother, he doesn't know better and he's a fictional character. The John Denver joke was based on a real celebrity death and was indeed in poor taste and pretty gratuitous. I'm with Dash on this one. That doesn't take anything away from how South Park is amazing though. They can make some wrong jokes from time to time. Even the creators recognize that - they originally poked fun at climate change with ManBearPig being a representation of climate change as something ridiculous and not real, but years later they changed their views and made another episode showing ManBearPig as something that was indeed real and implied that they themselves were wrong.
@@krautgazer It's not always about making mistakes, it's about owning up to them.
The John Denver Experience is still freakin hilarious! 🤣
“Muffle muffle muffle John Denver experience…….. have fun.”
You have an insanely impressive index of knowledge for references. Maybe the best I’ve seen for any reaction channel, easily any South Park one. It’s ironic Bc there’s kids in the comments who clearly think they’re these huge experts who know everything about the show Bc they’ve seen every episode, but they don’t get the vast majority of these references you’re pointing out
I lve seen alot of movies but I don't pick up ven half the stuff Dash does
I never got that John Denver joke until now. Shit was hilarious.
I remember watching this episode with a friend and he said "only south park can come up with something like this imagine if NAMBLA was real"
I will never forget the look on his face when i made him google it and he found out it actually was real.
South Park was the first comedy show that made the first joke of 9/11.🤣
Early south park was far more savage than what is out now but the new stuff is precise and to the point
the fact that nambla was a real thing man.
Right?!?
That's disgusting...
definitely one of those things i thought South Park made up for shock value, turns out reality was shocking enough...
Wait what? There's no f'ing way! There's no way...
Edit: it's true!!!
@@DanielHernandez-ki3ch oh it's definitely true. They change the name of their group from time to time to disguise the fact that they're effectively pedophiles. The current code term is minor attracted persons. Maps... and they've been trying to associate themselves with the gay community for cover. Some people are inappropriately attracted to children, and those people seek psychiatric help. That's respectable at some level at least they recognize there's something seriously wrong here let me do something about it. Others are trying to find cover for their behavior. In any case it's nothing new unfortunately. There is one true thing they said that this kind of behavior goes back through recorded history. That's a silly fallacious argument, so does theft, rape, murder, etc..
The clown hat curly hair smiley face gets me every time 🤣
If you think the John Denver was bad wait until you see their crocodile hunter joke.
The John Denver reaction had me rolling! 🤣
Crossing the line is what South Park is all about lol
I love that the thing Dash was most offended about was the John Denver ride
I've always wondered how Cartman was still able to use a turn in that game after he lost a turn 😂
New sub! You do a great job with these reactions. I see too many other youtubers cut the episode to pieces, leaving out crucial context and delivery. You also don’t talk all over the damn episode too!
One of my favorite episodes. And the Scooby-Doo hallway gag is classic
South Park, especially in its earlier seasons, didn't really spare anything from scrutiny, joke, or ridicule. Whether it was topical or in poor taste. I think a lot of us eventually have a moment where one just rubs us the wrong way. But I think it's also from that uninhibited nature of theirs that some of their best jokes and most profound points are made, so it's one of those gotta roll with the punches things. Of course I can only speak for myself on that sentiment. Always fun to watch your reactions on both the old and newer episodes.
Had posted this on the wrong video on my first attempt. Whoops
I think that’s why everyone loves South Park. People have come to terms that those kind of jokes is what made South Park, South Park.
Exactly! People forget that South Park has always aimed to be offensive, which is a big part of their satire and how they get important messages across.
Growing up watching SP has taught me alot of things I did not know or need to know at a young age, especially finding out about nambla. Love this show though, still makes me laugh even tho I seen million times
Did you join them?
@@sirweebs2914 Looool!
@@sirweebs2914 yes, because he looks like Marlon Brando.

The John Denver joke is where you think they crossed a line in this episode? 😂
I agree with him: John Denver's death isn't really warranted. Making fun of NAMBLA Members definitely is. The contraception joke probably hasn't aged so well with the loss of Roe v Wade and many Conservative States are trying to limit contraception.
@@names_are_useless not laughing won’t unyeet his plane
@@names_are_useless What states are trying to limit contraception?
I really respect your ability to callback old references in the show.
there is some kind of South Park Wiki where it's all listed. I guess he is using that.
Watching your expression makes those so much more hilarious. Like is my soul dying? I think much soul is dying... maybe just stun.
Hahaha 🤣 I’m glad you can laugh. Along with me at some of this stuff.
Thanks for explaining the John Denver joke, as an european, i never understood this joke when i originally watched the series.
Forgot about this episode. Wow...so much in that about the world we live in today.
How so...?
I wonder how modern Dash would react compared to this relatively pure & unspoiled Dash. The one who still believed that the John Denver joke was too far :D I did notice that you made reference to the old Scooby-Doo/Benny Hill style hallway joke at 11:25, I think these days you would have actually cut in a clip. It's great to see how far you've come :)
South Park is allowed to do almost anything they want and that’s what makes it hilarious..I just found it funny that Kenny’s dad just kept getting messed up and he was trying to make it so his mom would lose the baby lol
“Cartman Joins NAMBLA” - June 21, 2000 - Cartman to Kyle: “I give you AIDS”. “Tonsil Trouble” - March 12, 2008 - Cartman intentionally infects Kyle. South Park is when the setup in a joke goes on for 8 years
The John Denver joke was hilarious 😂.
4:39 the reason that’s a thing is because people are trying to reduce the stigma against the non-offenders, since then they’re more likely to go get therapy and actually overcome their harmful attractions
I've watched this episode a couple of times already but watching your face to some of the scenes made me laugh just as hard all over again.
The best (and worst) part is that NAMBLA is real
I keep coming back to this one to re-watch it - it's a super good episode and the reaction makes it even better.
Ah, I remember that misdirect with Dr. Mephisto and NAMBLA
The funniest thing is your reactions to SP crossing the line.
When you know they've done it so many times before.
I'm sorry, but that John Denver joke was top tier. I fall under the belief that just because something is wrong, doesn't mean it can't be funny.
Just look at the main story of the episode. This is a prime example.
John Denver Experience! I forgot about that one.
Cartman: "And Kyle, I'm gonna give you.... aids."
That's some nice unintentional foreshadowing
If this episode was made later, it would have been the Kobe Bryant experience. 😂😂😂
Literally just found your Channel gonna binge watch everything!
This is one of my favorite episodes to watch not only because of the Cartman stuff but because of all the stupid shit that keeps happening to Kenny's dad lol.🤣🤣
You can tell you wanted to punch the TV when the creeps were talking. Good vid
Weird how history repeats itself
Huh?
Rarely have I missed the cruel times of crucifixion and burning at the stake, but I think NAMBA makes going retro seem cool again.😂
Your reaction to the chatroom name was hilarious.
"The John Denver experience..." He died in a plane crash... crashed a long ez after he lost his pilot's license.
And of course as soon as I comment about it there's the scene.
"ok that'll kill somebody"
Yeah... That's kind of the point. 😅
😅😄🤣okay, that was funny. Well-played.
You finally did it! Thank you so much :D
Thanks for the recommendation!
@@dash.reacts haha no problem, I thought you were trying to skip past it because of the subject matter lol
If you're watching South Park, expect those lines to be crossed. Either everyone gets it, or no one gets it
When i watched this episode when it was released at early 2000s i never caught the "GOP Rules" shirt Kenny's Mom is wearing 😂
Although I seen most SP episodes I enjoy dash reacting tho them. You can say it brightens up my day
You should react to season 6 episode 14 of South Park titled "The Death Camp of Tolerance". That would be hilarious to watch.
Is that the fat camp episode
@@cheapspeed It's the one where Garrison hires Mr. Slave as his new teacher's assistant in an attempt to get fired for being gay so that he can sue the school for a lot of money.

No more will the world have to look in two different places for squirrels and provolone cheese! No more will mankind have to pick!
One of the best out of left field jokes in all of Southpark...
Im surprised it didn't have 4 asses
Honestly, with the way the term pedophile gas been watered down and weaponized, it only makes sense to look for a new word
your reaction to kennys dad after he drank that stuff was hilarious
Your reactions to this were gold.
An employee at my terminal believes that same-sex marriage equality will lead to the legalization of peto-relations
Slippery slope fallacy.
5:12 South Park always ahead of their time.
I sound like a broken record . . . "Another feather in the cap of Butters' shattered psyche"
jon stewart had the best bit on the daily show years ago about nbla
I remember watching this episode as a kid and the scenes with Kenny's dad would have me cry laughing! now rewatching as an adult I will never understand why that was so funny to me lol
It took me a while to get the John Denver Experience joke.
your reaction to kennys dad after he drank that stuff was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh shit I think they used the same music in that Funland commercial as they did in the Alabama Man commercial?
From denver to Bryant.

I already feel bad,Kobe is a legend.
I'm 99% sure that "MAP" thing was just a 4chan plot and isn't actually a real thing.
it was originally but then actual pedos got wind of it and took it for themselves
Lol! The John Denver experience 🤣🤪!
The way you sighed after they called the perverts "political prisoners" was spot on 😂 How else can you respond to that lol
😮 Surprisingly, the Kama Sutra thing is actually a real reference. One of the weirdo creeps brought it with him on that Chris Hanson pred. show. 😵
In a way, I'm not surprised that South Park always seems to push the limits. And poor Butters always seems to be on the receiving end. LOL
I haven’t had dialysis, but, I feel like seeing some kids having old school fun pressing their face into the glass, it would make me feel a lot better
Yea exactly, something positive for once. Kids having fun
You have to remember that Colorado is where Sony Bono died. They also have the Sony Bono experience.
also for some understanding mr garrison used to repress his gay side until season 3 and he used mr hat (the puppet hes always with) as his gay side and always blamed certain things on mr hat like when he visits a klan rally and says mr hat is the klan member. but mr hat is just garrisons repressed sides.
Yup, but in this episode we found out he's not only gay, but a pedo... damn!!
As a longtime viewer of your channel i can't help but believe if this was an episode you saw nowadays you'd find that Denver joke funny now 😅
suggestion: Here Comes the Neighborhood (S05 E12)
Thank you so much for this 🙏
This is a great episode. You'll gonna love this one.
Making my afternoon yet again! Cheers Dash🙏
I build walls for a living and live a sheltered life. I didn’t know what NAMBLA was so I searched it.
Great, now I am on a list, thanks South Park, You Bastards!
Wait, wait, wait. Hol' up. Did the McKormicks just say that they have a new Kenny every time he gets killed!?
Such a great episode. Classic.
In this episode, I thought the stunt they would have used was for the kids to enter into one hotel room to the right of the hallway, Then when NAMBLA corners the door to that room, the kids would come out a door on the left of the hallway and enter the room next to it. Then when NAMBLA corners them to that room, the kids come out the elevator door and into the stairway door. Then when NAMBLA tries to enter the stairway door, the kids come out of another room on the same floor and enter into another room. Then NAMBLA paints a lifelike mural or a door on the wall then corner the kids into the previous hotel room. Then the kids come out the laundry chute door and open the painted door mural, walk in, then close the painted door mural. Then NAMBLA tries to enter through the painted door mural but only crash into it. That was an old gag done in many cartoons for the hero to evade the villian, and it should have been used here.
11:34 I think it's more Scooby Doo than Benny Hill. If it was Benny Hill they would have been playing Yakkity Sax.
"That's gonna kill somebody."
Yeah....the baby. Lol
This episode had me in tears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was such a chaotic episode, oh wow 🤣
Like the monopoly poster behind you, very appropriate for the theme…lol
dude i dont know why... but in certain way... you remind me of Kamaru Usman :D seriously. Love your reactions !
Haha! I’ve had a few people say that in the comments at some point. Sure wish I had wrestling skills like that.
Thanks for watching!! 🙏
I kinda feel sorry for Kenny’s dad, he gone through a lot of pain this episode.
I recommend season 3, episode 17: "World Wide Recorder Concert"
I remember when this came out, I was about 11 years old and I never laughed so hard than when Kenny’s dad throws up/vomits/bleeds
